AMAZING!! Prices in market were reasonable and convenient, everyone was so friendly! The lounge area had games for younger kids. The rooms are smart rooms, so if you have the Hilton app you can open your room and even control the tv. Our family had lots of fun! First time staying for our annual beach trip, we will come back next year!

The property was clean, modern, and very family oriented. I did not like the service specifically the front desk. The clerks did not communicate with each other about not wanting to put my final purchase on credit card but using cash when checking out. When I checked out, the clerk had already placed the purchase on my credit card without my consent. Being that I was out of town I couldn’t wait 5 days for the transaction to be processed to my credit card. I feel like it wasn’t supposed to be completed until I officially checked out of my room. The clerk stated that the person the prior afternoon did not document my room.

The only issue I have is breakfast ends at 9. We probably won’t stay again because that is just too early to try to get eveyone dressed and down the stairs before 9.

This was a new experience for me. This hotel was great for longer stays, since I was there mostly for business. It was in a great location. There are plenty of amenities nearby. The breakfast was great, cold and hot options available. Rooms were clean, and it was pet friendly. I love that they didn't have carpet, and the AC worked great for the humid Houston climate. The staff were really friendly, and knowledgeable about the area if you needed help finding something or a service. A shopping mall is walking distance from the hotel, but it's best to have a car because there are no sidewalks for pedestrians. Coffee and tea was available 24/7 at the front desk. Service was by request, which was nice.. The area is not pedestrian friendly, but it's not something the hotel can affect. I also wished there were coffee makers/hot water boilers in the room

This is my go to place when I come in to Houston staff is good. Beds are comfortable good breakfast in the morning and very good coffee for hotel coffee

This hotel exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked through the doors we were blown away by the cleanliness, friendly staff and the comfort. Traveling with little kids can sometimes be chaotic. The lobby offered little board games and foosball to keep my kids entertained. It was such a nice touch that made traveling a breeze.

Breakfast was good, however I do not recommend a bedroom on the 1st floor near the amenities. To much noise.

Room was cleaned only every other day, breakfast was decent but unremarkable.

I booked 2 rooms and they gave us adjoining rooms which was a surprise and greatly appreciated. Lots of food choices nearby as well as shopping, banks and even a Costco! Very convenient especially if you don’t have a car and need to walk to get something to eat, want to shop or forgot something at home and need to buy another one for your trip. It’s located between HOU and the cruise port making it a short trip to both places. Felt safe which was important since it was just me and my four sisters traveling together.

My wife used a washcloth to help her remove her light makeup. Unknown to us we would be charged $10 for “soiling” a washcloth. It Wash dirty not SOILED! This is a petty way to increase revenue as they likely simply tossed it in the wash and took no further action.

Very cool place. The pool is not huge, but well maintained there foosball table downstairs for the kids. The breakfast is good. And it’s right next to NASA. We had a great stay here for three days. If you’re looking for the fourth season, this isn’t it but if you’re looking for a cheap nice place, definitely a great one.

The room was very nice and neat. Everything was excellent except for 1 item. The heating unit blew 98% cold air and was very loud. We set the thermostat higher to 73 degrees, higher than what we wanted hoping that would trigger the unit to blow warm air. That did not happen either. In fact, the thermostat took the temperature down to 69 degrees and slowly worked up to 71 degrees and did get any warmer. But still continued to blow cold air all night. Needless to say I got many 3 hours of sleep on December 16th.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and the hotel was spotless.

Things looked in the room. I went down at 9am to get breakfast for my 5 yr old who was still sleeping and the cortisone was already closed and everything out away. Garbage cans were literally overflowing and I was surprised at that considering I saw 4 employees frequenting the area. Just was a bummer because we arrived at 2:30am for a one night stay and didn’t even get breakfast.

The room was very clean, the staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast always provided tasty options. It was quiet at night and no issues with external lights. The body soap, shampoo and conditioner are great, so no need to pack yours from home.

The breakfast was fresh the rooms are clean but the ice machine was broken. The staff was very helpful.

We love a good complimentary breakfast and will pay extra for this amenity… this one was so bad we looked around and left for Starbucks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facility was clean.

I went to visit my daughter. The hotel was a great location. When we wanted to go shopping or eat we didnt have to go too far at all. The lobby was beautiful, with a great selection at the hotels personal market. I really enjoyed teaching my princess how to play foosball. Definitely coming back to this hotel on my next visit. I loved it.

The room smelled musty and did not feel clean. The overall environment and building itself did not feel like other Tru by Hilton's.

Staff was friendly and store walking distance for shopping. I did not like the smell of pets in room, it was bad and breakfast hours were early only till 9, it hard to come early with kids. If should be till at least 10 or 1030. Over all it was okey, did to the pet smell I would not recommend this place.

What an awesome place. Friendly preople, even the manager was extra friendly. They not only had an above average breakfast, they also provided dinner and it was good with about 4 main choices. Also, included sodas and some drinks but I don’t drink so I didn’t indulge. And all that for a. Dry reasonable price.i would come back 100% fir sure.

Front desk girl needs customer service lessons. Not friendly at all. Whenever we checked on, no smile, no polite conversation, nothing. Next morning, we went to eat breakfast, I told same girl we needed clean towels (we stayed two night) she didn’t even look up from computer screen and said “I didn’t hear you at all, can you speak up?” Im not going to yell out my room number in a room full of people so I told her again what we needed. We left for the day, came back around 3:00, no clean towels. Husband tracked down housekeeping who was down the hall and had to convince them to give us more than one towel.

Everything was great except our room was not properly cleaned. There was trash in the garbage can in the bathroom and behind the bedside table. Jenny at the desk was a delight. She loaned us a stapler for our cruise tags. Breakfast food was typical. The pancake maker was cool!

The hotel is in a good location, it’s clean in main areas. Our room was dirty, the bathroom wall was dirty, one of the pillowcases on the bed had makeup on it when we got in for the first time and the floors could have been cleaned better, hair specifically that was not ours. Overall it could have been worse but also could have been better. It’s also very noisy. We didn’t sleep very good, not sure I would book this location again. Surprising because the reviews were pretty good which is why I booked there in the first place

Easy to locate property and parking was easily available. On check-in, front lobby area was nicely layed out and decorated. Initial staff was welcoming and helpful but there was an issue with our reservation. Host stated that the computer said I had already checked-in and my room was unavailable. They had to look at the video cameras and make a bunch of phone calls and do some computer research. It took about 30-40 mins for them to figure out it was a computer glitch, and they weren't going to let us into our room until "IT" figured it out. I asked a 2nd employee to contact a supervisor to give approval for us to go to our room while they figured it out (because she was telling me she wasn't going to let us). Thankfully the supervisor on the phone gave approval and I assume everything was taken care of because nothing came of it again. The room was comfortable and clean. However, the lobby was dirty and the lobby bathrooms were disgusting. It didn't appear that anyone had even attempted to clean the lobby area since after breakfast that morning. Overall, an average stay. I would potentially give this property another chance.

The rooms were comfortable and the staff very friendly, but upon arrival we were given a room with a damaged refrigerator so we had to change rooms. Additionally, the breakfast is the worst, the bacon looks like fried plastic. For all the people going to breakfast they only have a toaster with two loaves of bread. There was no milk, neither hot nor cold, it really couldn't be worse. The ice machine is on the first floor, so if you need ice, you have to go down to that floor for it. Regarding the rooms, very clean and comfortable, but a bit smelly. I think the pet friendly rooms should be apart from the normal ones, since the two days we were there, we were woken up by a dog crying early in the morning.

the Manager at this was very quietly unhelpful. She did not offer any solution to the issue rather than "I am sorry" statement. Not very helpful at all. The unspoken attitude was very unsettling.

Only real complaint I have is the pillows are terrible. Very flat and over used.

We were in the League City area for my son's baseball tournament and stayed here. It was fine and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, but it's not outstanding (but it's also not trying to be). I will say though that it was very clean (kudos for not having carpet!), it was in great condition, and it was well located.

We stayed here for three nights while in town for a baseball tournament and I’d definitely go back. I like Hilton’s Tru brand as it’s no frills but modern and super clean, and all at a good price. This hotel fits that description and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

This place was amazing!! The room was so comfortable and clean. The was so nice. The complimentary breakfast was good too. I will definitely be back if I am ever traveling through Houston again.

Room was tiny. No desk. Only a small counter with weird chair. No closet. Wall hooks and a rack on the wall with a few hangers. Shower had no soap dish, shelf or anywhere to put shampoo, etc. Breakfast didn’t look good. Tried one bite of sausage and decided to go elsewhere.

I was never offered a compensation for the issue. I felt that was the least they could do. I even left a note on the bed that the ac was not working correctly

Overall, one of the most uncomfortable and unpleasant hotel rooms I’ve ever experienced.

Staff needs fired and replaced with ones that actually care. We got there and 3 times they told us that our card that got us into our room was fine and to go retry the door lock (we were on the 2nd floor) so wasted our time multiple times just to find out the door lock was dead and they were too lazy to actually go and try it so they gave us another room. Area is bland and boring, pool is outside and not worth it. Apperently they don't believe in night stands so they just give you a very small table to accamodate you at your bed that might only have room for your phone. Lighting sucks as the lamps were dim and oddly placed. Bathroom was expected for the price you pay. Your better off getting the Holiday Inn next door trust me don't waste your money here.

close to the port of Galveston for are cruise second time staying here. when checks out handed front desk staff keys she was on her phone did not even look up at me. This was very disappointing to me

The worst part of the stay happened when I discovered a large molded bagel in the bread container. It's not just some small mold but the green mold pretty much covering the entire bagel and it's placed right in the bread container where lots of breads and toasts are placed. I'm pretty sure all the other breads are covered with the mold spores even when it's not visible to the eyes. I was shocked by the seen so I was alerting people around without realizing the girl who attends to the breakfast bar was behind me. The first thing she said to me was not to apologize for this situation or for the negligence of her work, but to scold me for speaking up. She said "why do you have to be so loud?!" What worst was when she said that this isn't the first time. Horrible! Who knows for how many times they have served expired, molded breads or could be other breakfast choices to customers. When I took out of my phone to take a picture she quickly removed the tray and trying to prevent me from taking a picture of it. Luckily I still got it on evidence.

It was fine. Not up to the quality I would expect from a Hilton property. The staff were pleasant and efficient. The breakfast was good. I appreciated the ice and water bottle filling station. In our room the exhaust fan was not working, there was a large splash of a dark colored liquid on the bathroom wall, and the hand soap was nearly empty. Some attention to detail would bring the rooms back up to standard.

I liked the hard floors throughout the room, no smelly carpet. My biggest issue is there was no coffeemaker in the room. I had to get dressed and go down to the lobby for coffee in the morning. My other issue is there are no shelves in the shower which meant I had to put my toiletries on the shower floor while taking my shower. The pegs and rack on the wall to hang clothes didnt bother me, the bed was comfortable and clean. But not having a coffeemaker is a huge issue for me. I would have gladly traded in the iron and ironing board for one!

But this one was horrible, lobby was dirty from breakfast, furniture cushions worne out and old, pool furniture same condition, breakfast had the same food no variety, we stayed for four days, we ate the same breakfast! Not a good place to stay! I will not recommend or stay here ever again!

Great stay! Front desk was able to switch my room last minute from a single king to double queen. Clean, lots of variety of snacks/food, close to a lot of things, good area off the highway, and great breakfast buffet with great service. We will be back.
