The stay was great but I feel my privacy was violated. Check out was at 11pm but the housekeeper knocked 2 times at 9:40am and when my husband was going to the door she let herself in. Definitely did not appreciate that! We could've been getting dressed!

Room was clean and roomy, location is excellent, great value, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good but repetitive with the exact same thing served daily, and it was only served from 7-9.

Some kind of smell was there in both rooms that our family had booked. One had WEEDish smell, other had muggy (moldy) smell. Had to keep the AC running for a long time before the smell was bearable. The furniture in both rooms was terrible/old/worn out with scuff marks. Office chair was the worst. TV wasn't working. Nothing to say +ve about the experience except for reasonably clean/well light bathroom. We also suspect bedbugs with itchy bites on my son's thighs.

Checking in was not friendly. Woman training the other lady was rude. I had to pay for both of my rooms separately instead of 1 transaction. I made 1 reservation but was told it was made as 2 different room reservations. Not true. I wasn't going to argue with her. If I could have canceled my rooms I would have. If your pet friendly then you welcome pets. Do not threaten to call animal control if your pet barks. Breakfast was from 7am to 9am. Online it said 6am to 9am. The only options were waffles boiled eggs cereal sausage and biscuits and gravy. That was Saturday. Sunday had toast and muffins as well. Our cards to our rooms did not work. We found hair in the restroom floor. Toilet paper was used rolls and not a new roll. Lights did not work properly. Could not use phones to call front office and complain. I could go on but I think this is enough for now.

We asked for towels for our shower and the clerk required we first bring our used towels back. First time I've ever been asked that. The breakfast was a little lacking. Sausage only as the meat option, no bacon. There was also no peanut butter. No fresh fruit. Also, I had a cup of cranberry juice cocktail, and there was something solid in my cup. I lost my appetite. Otherwise, the breakfast was ok.

Everything was working in the room. Very clean. The only thing is that the sofa bed mattress was a bit uncomfortable. The breakfast was also good.

Overall satisfied. Property was good, very good amenities. Breakfast was really good, havent seen such a good spread in any of these budget hotels. Eventhoufh there were stains in the towels and the bed spread, I dont want to bring it up, as everything else was good. Room was spacious, no noisy neighbors etc. Very good location, with good number of restaurants nearby and close to Houston Space Centre as well.

Owner was very rude. They didn't have towels to shower with my family of 4 had to share 1. Hot tub didn't work and the chemicals were so strong in the pool it instantly gave my kids a rash. The bedding looked like it had drops of blood on it. The breakfast was very limited even for continental. Luckily we were just passing though and only had to stay 1 night but won't book there again.

The free breakfast was basic. They offer a few hot items. Nothing impressive. The room was clean. The shower was better than OK but not amazing. The bed was comfortable. The AC worked perfectly and didn't make a lot of noise. Overall I would stay here again.

The first room had a hole in the wall. The next one the tv did not work, the coffees maker did not work and the WiFi was intermittent.

The place is ok. It has been refurbished and repainted…. It looks ok but the circulation in the room is horrible. It smelled humid and damp. The OK made so much noise it was difficult for me to fall asleep. Staff were nice.

Parking was great. Close to the building . Staff was courteous. Quick to address issues. Breakfast was ok. Waffles available, cereal fruit and sausage on the dates of our stay.

Great affordable safe hotel

NEVER, in any hotel that I've stayed in have I had a room that was surrounded by rooms that were being renovated or been having construction going on. Didn't see any other guests on my floor. Heard lots of banging. Saw lots of carts with tools and paint buckets & the such in the halls. I appreciate the fact that this location is getting a face lift. It needs it. However this should not be interferring with my stay. The pool still needs some major attention. There should be hand rails to aid in being in and out of the hot tub too. I do believe I will be exploring one of the many other hotel options in this area on my next trip.

Parking and check in was easy. The beds were wonderful and we also enjoyed the pool. Daniel was very helpful!! When I needed to extend our stay, get supplies, or any of my many requests, he responded professionally and quickly. Housekeeping was also very accommodating. Thank you.

Hotel was nice the only complaint is hot tub was not hot only like warm

The pool was fine. It was awfully loud in there with just a few people. The pool bottom could use a remodel of the bottom of the pool. The first day at the continental breakfast, the batter for the waffles was old and tasted terrible. We asked for it to be replaced and that fixed the issue. The women's toilet downstairs was "flooded" twice during our stay. We requested for it to be fixed and cleaned and the staff responded to clean it. The ACs in the continental breakfast room wasn't working. It was consistently humid and warm in there. When we asked the staff to turn it on, the staff said it was broken. We got the feeling that it had been broke awhile. The front entrance couch looked like it need to be replaced. The new space photos throughout the hotel and in our room was a nice touch.

I had a king size for two overnights including my cat, paid the pet fees, and front desk was courteous, professional and given room was explained and was best offer for a guest with a furry companion. They have breakfast included, but I had my own and room had microwave, cup size coffee/tea machine and large TV screen plus work desk and a sleeping couch. Their wifi is for sporadic, leisure user. I had my own secure, professional broadband

At check-in, I was told there would be an additional charge of 5 dollars per child over 12 per day, on top of what I booked on hotels.com. I was charged this for the 2 17 year olds in our room "to better accommodate" them. When I asked what that meant, she repeated "to better accommodate them" over and over. When I pressed, she said "to better accommodate them at breakfast and in case of noise complaints". They didn’t even eat breakfast. I dont recall agreeing to this when booking, and the only “policy” was posted at the front desk, which you obviously can’t see ahead of time. Our coach questioned it and was not charged at all. I was not so lucky. I was told a manager would be contacted, but nothing was resolved. The smell is awful. It stinks. Smells like cat pee and heavy perfume throughout the room, hallways, and elevator. One person in our group had to switch rooms because the ammonia smell was so bad and was told they were "accidentally" put in a pet room. Maintenance issues too. TV remote didn’t work, phones didn’t work, and the explanation involved humidity and copper parts. Batteries were replaced, still didn’t work. Room was mostly clean-ish, beds tight, but corners were dirty and the toilet barely flushed. Lukewarm showers at best. If I wasn’t with a team, I would have left.

There were gobs of foot long black hair in oir shower. We are both short haired grey headed. It was an awakening that the shower and tub were not cleaned. Toilet took several times to flush. The lights didn’t want to shut off. The window blind opened only about 12 inches. It was not worth the $140+ we paid for the room. Compensation would be nice.

The hotel sent me a confirmation (uncommon for most reservations made here), and a staff member called me to clarify a few points.

If you are sensitive to odors, I do not recommend this hotel, the lobby has a constant air freshener smell (it does smell good). The bedroom on the other hand… it was noticeable, not pleasant, but thankfully we went nose blind to it quickly. Pool was there. Kids enjoyed the hot tub, it was very foamy…

The hallways and beds were clean. There was old furniture, equipment laying around and going up the stairs smelled absolutely horrible.

They charge an extra $5 a child over what is booked online. Facilities were adequate, but not in the greatest of shape. they must have had someone break in as there was a busted door in the hallway to the pool. The bathroom by the pool wasn't clean. The gym had a few treadmills, a few elliptical's, only one of each worked, TV didn't work, and the weight resistance bench was not secure and really squeaked. the side doors were always propped open too. ... probably overnight.

The hotel was very much worth the price.my family of 4 stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were quiet and clean. We were never rushed or disturbed by the custodial staff. Each staff member greeted us and asked if there was anything they oulf do to improve our stay. They treated us not as just another guest, but with warm friendliness. I would stay again!

There were a handful of issues during my stay that do not get resolved. There were people smoking pot somewhere in the building which created a horrible stench in the breakfast area and hallway. We notified staff and they blew it off. Breakfast time is 7-9. I went out at 8:30 and most food was already gone. I asked for breakfast items and they would not serve them. The said breakfast was almost over and they were putting it away. There were several people who were turned away for breakfast. I even asked for a yogurt and they said no because they were putting breakfast away. All of this well before 9am. Food should have been available up until 9am and then taken down. Very upset!

Did not like the SURPRISE extra charge $5 for kids. Unacceptable. Also, I have an eating disorder and do not eat in front of others but this hotel breakfast does not allow eating in rooms. It was clean and the morning stuff was friendly when I checked

Toilet in the room was very low, hard time get up, had to use the bathroom in the lobby.

Bedspread had a big yellow stain on it and the breakfast buffet closes way too early. Coffee should be available all day and it was not. And there was no orange juice.

The rooms are clean, until there was a little bit of soda residue in the bathroom sink and the ants came. Not just a few. My counter was full of ants. They were full so i couldnt change rooms. They gave me clearner to clean them up myself. I asked for a discount. I was told she would have to ask. I did not get a discount. Instead i got to clean ants off the batbroom counter for 2 days. Went to the pool and got into.the hot tub, it was lukewarm bath water. I did ask if they could turn up the heat foe the hot tub, they did. The staff is amazing! I want to give higher stars.

I think this is an old situation thats in the process of being renovated, but it still feels not great. The people working are wonderful, and maybe it was because I was in a wheelchair capacity room, but things just felt off, under the standard expected.

I’m here all the time normally it’s great but this time there was dirty toenails on the carpet you could tell that it had not been vacuumed and also I was there for two nights and they did not come and clean my room and also the toilet handle broke, which was a very much inconvenience.

Horrible experience. My wife and I needed to stay one night while we were waiting on our baby to get out NICU. Since we had been in the hospital for the last 6 days we thought it would be nice to wash clothes as the laundry room was right next door. The washer machine had our clothes soaking wet after the spin cycle and the dryer didn’t dry them after two consecutive runs. When asked if they could dry them for us they told us no then they promptly put an out of order note on the dryer. Our room had a weird odor. The WiFi was also only on 1 bar and would disconnect periodically. Saved money on the hotel but lost money trying to wash clothes then I just went to the laundry mat 10min away. Next time I’ll stick to the name brand hotels.

We were pleasantly surprised by the clean room, we really appreciated the attention to detail. Toilet paper was cutely folded where the roll begins and towels were made in to cute bows in the bathroom. Our room was very quiet. We stayed here for a cruse one night. And definitely recommend to everyone. Very polite staff and breakfast was good. Great job!

They supplied body wash and shampoo but no conditioner. Had to get my room card re-keyed everyday, and no I didn't keep it anywhere near my phone. The pool and hot tub were ok but does need some attention.

Grounds were very dirty. Chose the hotel for the heated indoor pool and hot tub-found out after check in that the heater didn’t work and the jets on the hot tub were burnt up. The owner actually said the pump was too expensive to replace! Our TV didn’t work so the manager came up to see if he could fix it and discovered the remote had no batteries. He was gone 30 minutes to go get some. The TV had squiggly colored lines thru it and he said he had no other rooms to switch to and no other TVs to switch it out with. The side doors were unlocked at times which is against security policy and at other times, they were locked and our key card wouldn’t open them so we had to walk around. We were told it was a technical problem. The problems seemed to be consistent in the whole place. Definitely would not recommend and will not consider staying again.

Note… I did stay in three different rooms over three weeks (left to go home on weekends) and never could get the television remotes to work. I also tried to manually use the buttons on the side of the TVs. It seems there is only one channel available at any given time. Luckily, we had our individual tablets to watch movies in the evenings. I was also surprised to not have phone service in the room we had the last week.

The whole place was very clean and I met the friendliest staff. Although, I wish the hot tub was working. Maybe change up breakfast

Breakfast was the same everyday, could use a little more variety. Pool was down. In addition, we had another teammate that stayed there as well and said their previous room had bedbugs but management did nothing but assured it was bedbugs. By that time, we only had one more night before heading home. We checked out room and beds the first night and we were clear but needless to say, I was paranoid for the remainder of our stay.

The rooms have bed bugs and management are liars. My wife and I checked in for two hours and we took a nap while sleeping my wife felt something bite her and we turned on the lights to see bugs crawling all over the pillows and bed. I took pictures and killed the bugs. We packed up, left the room and told the staff in the lobby. They said there was no management until the next day at 11am. In the morning I went and showed the photos to the managers who said they inspected the room and found no bugs. When i showed them the photos they said ohhhh thats what the red blood stains were (duh bed bugs drink our blood) they asked me to send the photos to corporate and they would work with Expedia to refund me. They denied the claim for refund and they refuse to give me my money back.

Very nice hotel the only draw back was that the room stunk badly. So badly that we actually had to ask to have a different room. We were sent across the hall and that room had a horrible smell too, just not as bad as the first room. The staff was very sweet and polite about the whole situation in fact she looked embarrassed and did say that they just had the carpets recently cleaned. I did read other reviews about the rooms smelling like cigarette smoke but that’s definitely not what ours smelled like. We had to go buy air freshener plug in’s and carpet powder to draw down the horrible smell. Other than the room smelling we had a great stay. It’s quiet, conveniently located, the staff was friendly and the value of the room was great.

The first room they gave us had bed bugs, the second room they gave us smelled like urine. The pool was closed due to maintenance the sign said but found out they were waiting on a part for over a week. The hot tub wasn't working either the maintenance guy said the wires burnt up. Then we went to breakfast the next morning and there was no eggs and no orange juice. They said again they didn't get a shipment. Then we asked if they can turn on the TV in breakfast area and they said that both TV was zapped and didn't work. We were there for 8 nights and nothing's was taken care of. We were there for a baseball tournament and all the other hotels were pretty much bookedthe other hotels were pretty much booked.smorninth

This is an excellent hotel, staff is very nice and welcoming. Almost like going to another home that you own. Just cuz it's not a big name hotel doesn't mean anything. Hands down. I'll be going this hotel from now on when I'm in the Galveston Houston area.

The room smell was so bad that we need to spray perfume to tolerate. Also elevator smells like people smoked there. Breakfast uses styrofoam plates and cups.

The hotel also offers a complimentary contact high thanks to the enthusiastic weed smokers roaming the property. Very community-oriented. Free breakfast was small but surprisingly decent, proving that not everything here is a gamble. Not exactly luxury, but if you’re looking for a place to sleep, eat a muffin, and question your life choices, this is your spot.

The hotel looks like it’s in the middle of renovations. The pool wasn’t available, which we wouldn’t have used anyway, and some of the chairs in our room were pretty worn. There was also a stain on the carpet in our room. None of this affected our stay, we were very happy with our accommodations.

Do not book here. The rooms smell damp and are not cleaned well. Find somewhere else especially if you have children. The pool is closed, furniture in reception torn, and there is dog hair stuck to the reception desk.

The hotel was very clean. I stayed for four nights and the ladies cleaned and freshened up my room every day, and I love that. The only thing I have complaints about is that the pool is under construction also, the computer is out of under construction where I can’t couldn’t print my papers that I needed it for work and also the vending machines were out of network a lot of times and I could not pay with credit card

The pet policy was very different from what the reservation on expedia indicated.

From the day I arrived until the day I departed I was never dissatisfied with the service I received. This is my new place to stay when visiting Webster Texas.

Evening and morning front staff was rude. Extra charge for kids 12 and up on top of what was already paid even thought ages were put at booking. Pool was closed and blankets had blood stains on them.

Even with my gripes, I’d still stay there again when traveling with the fam.

The location fit our needs. There were plenty of restaurants nearby. Upon check in at 9:30pm I had to wait 5 minutes for someone to come to the desk. Breakfast could have been better with healthier options, there was no fruit, mainly starchy foods. Room and bathroom were clean, bed was comfy.

Perfect rooms and close to NASA center. The only thing is that the front desk called me Sunday night around 11:15 and woke me up stating for me to keep it down I guess the noise even though I was asleep and not tv on. He should have been more polite and say something like “sorry to disturb you but there’s a complain that there’s a noise but not sure if it is coming from your room”

The customer service was surprisingly poor staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful when I raised concerns, the front desk lady said these are minor issues and she cant change my room. She didnt take my complaint seriously. The bathroom had multiple problems: the faucets dripped nonstop, and the wash basin didn’t drain properly, leaving standing water every time I used it. These are basic maintenance issues that should be addressed long before guests arrive. Overall, this stay was frustrating and far below expectations. I hope the hotel invests in proper repairs and trains the staff to provide better service, because in its current condition, I cannot recommend it.

The cleanliness of this hotel needs improvement! I was greeted by a large cockroach with wings running in front of the check-in desk! There were little roaches running around and in the coffee maker in our room as well!

Despite bringing this to the staff’s attention, if they could even be located, they did not move me rooms. Instead, they said they would try shutting the door themselves lol what. So weird. Myself and Expedia tried to get a refund on my remaining 4 nights and was denied. I will never stay here again and I will shout from the rooftops about how horrible that experience was. I just wanted a clean and safe space to stay while my dad was in the hospital. Truly and upsetting experience.

Great rooms

The room smelled musty when we first came in but after turning on the AC that went away. The hotel appears to have done cosmetic updates in the last few years. Nothing fancy, nothing exceptional, but a good room. We didn't stay for breakfast but there was the standard cold options plus it looked like scrambled eggs and sausage also available that day. I would stay here again if I needed something in the area.

Being the rooms and the hotel overall ameeld really musty and bad, I did not want to go to their breakfast at all.

Over all good stay. Just need couple of things to work on like the maintenence of the property. Ease of check in.

Room was clean, bed comfortable and decorations were cool. Parking convenient and hotel had great location to the NASA space center. Breakfast was ok, could of had more of a variety and a longer time frame from 7-10 am instead only 7-9 am.

Amazing room, shower and bath tub was good, staff was super friendly. Older hotel needing some updates and the hot tub was not working, chose that hotel for the hot tub. Was a little sad was offered a discounted price for not having a hotel, t.v didnt work at first but maintance main came and fixed it right away.

Horrible experience here! The pool was under maintenance and staff were not able to accommodate me or offer a refund to go elsewhere. We were here for a quick road trip and it was such an inconvenience. The rooms were also gross and smelled bad...

even skimped on the the sheets they used before folded the king fitted sheets under the mattress because the bed was alot smaller than a actual king. We loved this place before great people went yearly but not sure if we will be back.

From the moment we walked in there’s an off smell in the building, it barely lightened up in our room so we still bought air freshener later to use for ourselves. Our room was a bit stuffy, it felt like the ac unit on the wall never really circulated air as much as we’d like. Other than that everything else was good enough, room was clean, bed and sheets were comfy, tv had tons of channels, breakfast was okay but we only got to try it once.

We have stayed here several times. The staff are always great and our room is always clean. A/C is cold and water is hot. We will always stay here when we are in the area. When we go to Galveston we come back to Webster for the hotels, shopping, dinning and night life.

This hotel when I booked was a la Quinta and had changed hands - it is not a place I would recommend. The breakfast is minimal, not replenished and is awful. On the second day I didn’t even bother!!! The staff were ill trained and not customer focused.

Everything was exceptional! Check in was easy, the room was very clean! Had to call the service desk to come reconnect my TV due to the previous occupants disconnecting it, and that was even fast. Very quiet! Would definitely stay again!

I had only booked for 2 days, when my plans changed, and I needed an extra day, they were able to give me the extra night for the same price I paid through Expedia. There are so many restaurants and shops in the area, you can find just about anything you want. You must drive to those places though.

We booked a suite in Little Rick, Arkansas and I thought I was booking the same thing in Webster. We were very disappointed when we arrived and had a mini fridge and a microwave rather than a full size kitchen with amenities and a living room with a couch and chair. Our Little Rock suite had 2 full bathrooms and the one in Webster had one. Very disappointing to say the least.

Wonderful stay! It's located in a good spot in the town, nearby to places to shop and eat. The lady in the evenings at the front desk was super sweet, and attentive. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we'll be staying here! And if you want to visit NASA it's just a couple minutes away.

The manager (the male) was super friendly. He goes above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We even locked our vehicle key in our truck and he even helped us with that. Excessive air freshener trying to cover up odors everywhere...extremely humid and AC didn't get rid of it...refrigerator stunk...shower walls and showerhead had lots of buildup on them even after we requested it be cleaned...overall rundown and dirty...door handle to room and card keys didn't work properly...toilet was super low to the floor...kids yelling, running, and pounding around late into the night...adults pounding back and forth across the room above...would not recommend to anyone!

Wall were paper thin could hear everything happening next door. Musty smell the minute entered the hotel. The hotel was humid throughout on all floors. You had to get into your floor and wait to turn you air down to cool off.

The hotel was very comfortable and location was very good. Many restaurants and all stores are close by. Hotel service was good. Breakfast could have been better. But definitely worth the price. Highly recommended.

The check in lady was making up prices for early check in for 1 hour early. She first stayed $30 then changed it to $20. I’ve stayed in numerous places & never been charged for early check in. The pool was toxic with chemicals and open to anyone to just walk in at night. Very scary for a single woman to enjoy. My skin and eyes started to burn from the chlorine. I even had trouble breathing due to the chemicals. The stay just ruined the family trip vibe. I expected better & the breakfast was horrible. Who serves only boiled eggs? Very disappointed & other guests were complaining as well.

Stayed for 2 nights with family. Pool and hot worked, staff was nice and friendly.

The staff were very friendly but the hotel was dirty. The pool looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a couple of days. Our room had a giant water stain over the window, and the toilet was constantly clogged.

Was provided 2 cards, 1 was not working. Door latch loose. Elevator condition : fair.

You need more chairs for the pool area, and update you pictures online. I selected a suite one room with two queens beds and the other with a sofa bed. They did not have any rooms such as these. I had to change to the family room which was more expensive. The night is not as customer friendly as the day crew.

Our sink was clogged, they said they would send maintenance to fix it and never did. We were there for 2 nights. The sink legit did not drain. It’s very difficult trying to have a 6 year old spit their toothpaste into the toilet. Understandably, the sink completely full of water made it more challenging to get ready in the morning, so when it was 10 mins past checkout the front desk lady opened the room door without knocking, threatening to charge us $40 for a late checkout. Then I said, please come put your eyes on the sink here since you are here. Then she apologized that maintenance never came & left the room. Maybe fix your necessities before threatening your guests. Rude. I was planning to ask for a partial refund due to the significant inconvenience during our stay, but after the altercation, I just wanted out of there. Will never go to a La Quinta again.

Tv was not working front desk said they were alone couldn't help

Everything about this property waa great. The only thing I suggested was having some kid's cereals available. The waffle batter ran out because that's really all the kids had.

The bed sheets were stained nasty. The elevator floor was sticky.

The fact that they were doing construction and had a big lift in the parking lot. They were replacing all ACS in the whole place and crew was not cleaning up their mess every night. Left razor blades and debris all over hallways and outside front area. We found somebody's bathrobe in our room. We had ants in our bathroom sink and a pubic hair on the bed. Went to the hot tub on the first night and it smelt like dirty clothes. Come to find out the next day. The hotel manager told me some kid puked in the hot tub. I just hadn't gotten around to cleaning it yet. I will do it today. That was really great after sitting in it for a few minutes

We enjoyed our 2 night family stay. We had a double queen with a sofa. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. We were on the first floor right outside the breakfast area and were concerned it would be noisy but we had no problems at all. Breakfast wasn't great but was adequate and we all had enough to eat. Customer service was awesome - everyone was very friendly and helpful. It was really nice to have the indoor pool in the middle of winter! The hot tub was hot, but the jets weren't working, and there were only 3 chairs in the whole room. Even so, our kiddos had a blast swimming in February!

Called ahead 2 day's ti make sure jacuzzi was in working order and was told it was. When we went to use it , was not working. Very disappointed because we booked a stay here because of needing a jacuzzi for medical reasons.

There was a team of softball players having breakfast, the staff made sure to refill the food for other guests. Great job!

Property advertised a pool when called but it was under maintenance my whole visit. Room phone was out of order, TV remote only allowed us to watch 1 channel. Housekeeping made bed with dirty sheets and only came to service the room 2 of the 4 days I stayed there.

This property is older and the shower had mold and a lot of “caulking” that was also growing mold. The girl at the front desk was friendly, but said she had only been there three days and did not know how to help with late Check out or if I needed to extend the stay.

Great place to stay before Cruise

Not the cleanest hotel I have been in, breakfast was below average. Lots of carbs but not a lot of selection. Best item was soft homemade looking biscuits. Coffee was made from a push button machine.

The room was just ok. Bed was comfortable. We didnt have any soap or blow dryer. Had to goto front desk for soap to shower. No lotions or ammenities. Guess you have to pack everything. Couldnt wash hair because no blow dryer.

Guests were very loud and abnoxious, pool was supposed to be open but was really gross and not in working order. Hotel was understaffed.

Stay for 3 nights with family visiting Nasa. Good location with plenty food options around. Clean and comfy. Breakfast is good enough, hard boiled eggs, cereal, waffles, bagels and toast.
