The room was very clean, The staff was very professional and nice. The breakfast was good, did not have time to enjoy the nice looking swimming pool and the jacuzzi, but it looked super nice.

Conveniently located!!! There were several shopping areas and food establishments close by. The hotel itself was clean and the staff very courteous. I would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast food was plentiful & tasty. We got in close to midnight & the room was nice & cold. Front desk staff were friendly. Would stay here again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was ready so they allowed me to check in early. Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was also very clean. Breakfast was good with many selections. The only negative from the stay, was the noise level. The walls are really thin. I was on the third floor. There was loud talking and lots of noise into the early hours of the morning so I didn't get much sleep the first night. Also, there was a lot of stomping and jumping in the room above me

The selection of the breakfast items was loaded with sweet baked goods. The scrambled eggs were watery. The only fresh fruit were apples and the were stale. I don’t consume pork products. There was bacon and pork sausages. Which led me to leaving the hotel and purchasing breakfast at Starbucks

Everything was Wonderful! Only downside is no outlets near beds or on bedside table to plug anything in. Husband uses Cpap machine and couldn’t use it. We didn’t know we had to bring an extension cord.

This hotel was amazing! We stayed here before our cruise and it’s way cheaper than staying in Galveston Island! The mall is near by and tons of restaurants. It’s only about a 25-30 minute drive to cruise parking!

I am writing to express my severe dissatisfaction regarding my recent reservation. Despite booking a room with payment upon arrival, I was informed only upon my arrival that my reservation had been cancelled due to full occupancy. Crucially, I received no prior notification (phone or email) of this cancellation, leaving me stranded and scrambling to find alternative accommodation. Furthermore, the night manager's abrupt change in demeanor when addressing my predicament, contrasted with her interactions with other guests, was highly unprofessional. This experience was entirely unacceptable.

Dirty rooms and no cleaning staff available

Most comfy beds! Havent stayed at a holiday inn in a while and this place was heavenly.

My room smelled bad. Garbage was stacked in the hall near the elevator for two days. Breakfast didn’t open til 6:30 which is too late. The place had a bad vibe. Like a dormitory.

BAD: The room was not clean. Pink mildew rings around tub and sink drains. Tub drain was clogged. Kept finding other people's hair throughout the room. Hideous breakfast... Scrambled eggs looked like corn kernels. Sausage was greyish-purple. Oatmeal appeared as if they forgot to actually cook it.

The roomwas well designed and easy to move around. The room was very quiet and bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. Excellent breakfast was prepared for us. While there, i scheduled my next Galveston hotel stay here!!

This was our second stay at this hotel. I gave it a 5 on our first stay and a 5 for this stay. Location is handy to dining, shopping and I45. The hotel is very clean and we have never heard any street/highway noise. The provided breakfast was good with a wide variety of items to choose from. This is an ideal place to stay before you leave on a cruise from Galveston. It is around a thirty minute drive to the Port of Galveston.

There are many lodging options in the Houston area. Holiday Inn-HSC is near I-45 and provided easy access to every site we planned to visit, without stress of getting lost on confusing local roads; also, the hotel is recessed from I-45, which eliminates highway noise. The convenient access to I-45 allowed us to visit NASA, The Galleria, Botanical Gardens, The Aquarium, Baybrook Mall, and many other tourist destinations quickly and safely. Being a retired veteran, Holiday Inn's proximity to Navy Federal Credit Union and Costco made our stay more relaxed; we had peace of mind banking and shopping at familiar establishments. The amenities were stellar: We enjoyed our room's modern decor, housekeeping upon request (slept in without disturbances), cleanliness of common areas, and the variety of breakfast items. Holiday Inn helped make our first visit to Houston memorable.

Pool and hot tub were nice. Front desk gave us a room that was actively still being cleaned after checking in. Had to switch rooms. Then, staff was very hesitant to give us extra towels and asked why we needed them. (We are a family of 5- and there was only 2 full size towels in our room) At least we ended up getting towels. Overall, it was okay. Would be back if we had to, but wouldn’t go out of the way to go back.

The hotel over all was nice. The bed was nice and comfy. The only thing is they only had 2 washer machines and only 2 dryers for the whole hotel. And only one of the machines worked. One of the dryers didn't dry as well either. I had to stay up late in order to wash my sons uniform for his game the next morning. The sign on the one machine that wasn't working looked like it had been a while that it had not been working and an inconvenience. I would suggest getting more than just one floor for laundry. Or just get rid of it all together.

Great breakfast, pool area very nice, rooms large and well cared for. Stayed before and after cruise out of Port Canaveral. Early checkin after cruise return was appreciated. Easy off and on from I-45.

We liked that the room was clean, and the rental of the room came with a free breakfast which is just a typical hotel free breakfast. The only think we did not lot like that they do not brings clean towels or empty the trash or anything. We did ask for some clean towels at the desk and were given some.

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were friendly. We didn’t eat the breakfast as we had to leave super early so I can’t comment on that. The only complaint would be the pool and hot tub were cloudy and needed to be cleaned. However, the front desk lady did tell me that they were completely full the night before. There was a teenage boys baseball team there enjoying the pool with us, so I figure that’s why it was kinda yucky. The beds were pretty comfy and all amenities were provided.

The stay was good overall but the breakfast was not great and the pool area was not clean and didn’t have towels. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Also I supposed to check in at 3pm and I have told to wait and allowed at 3:30 get I tot the room. Not good.

We are on the second floor right by the pool. It’s 10:30 at night. We are trying to to sleep and there are people down there drinking and being loud. We have called the desk already. Nothing happened.

Breakfast was not any good, two days very little was on the breakfast bar, was disturbed four times by housekeeping with the "not ready" sign on the door. Carpet in room was ripped and stained, room was always sticky / humid no matter what temp. the ac was on, elevator was broke one day, ran out of toilet paper and had to go to front desk to get it, ran out of coffee cups, TV went out of service every time a storm came through, some employees were disrespectful.

Entrance is a tiny bit tricky to get into off the highway. Breakfast was nice. Hotel was nice and clean.

Fireball whiskey bottles were found by my 9 year old in the hot tub. Explicit music playing out by the pool the first night we were there. Tru (the hotel literally right next door) may be a better option.

Stayed at this location for one night it was a great visit. The staff were friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable. There was a 3rd party issue with their virtual card, a payment amount difference. The front desk manager and staff member figured out the issue and checked us in. We were disappointed at the lack of variety of available for breakfast, however the coffee was strong. We will definitely be staying at this location in the future.

Shopping within walking distance. Lots of restaurants within walking and unlimited within a short drive. Premises were clean and breakfast was everything you needed. Costco right next door. Housekeeping upon request but seems to be the norm on our USA travels.

Man its been a while since ive stayed at a hoiday inn! Been scared to for the last 10 yrs or so. But this hotel! Clean, kind, on point, pillows that are amazing, rooms are amazing! All the outlets and usb charging ports.....that work! New furniture and beds in rooms, very well kept! We got a great view with the room as well, seeing deer out in the field waking up in the morning. Keurig coffe maker, fridge, microwave all the towels and great shampoo, conditioner and soap. Plenty of space! Will definitely stay here again! Michelle and the rest of the staff were the best!!!! Perfect for those that have to work whike being here as well.
