Shutters on the Beach

Superb

From arrival to departure, we felt cared for and appreciated. Ours was a one-night stay, so our experience was limited. We’ll definitely return for a longer stay. Next time I’ll splurge for an ocean view, but otherwise I wouldn’t change a thing. Pricey tho.

I liked the location, the room was very spacious and bed very comfortable.

Everything at this hotel breezily exceeds standards. From the moment you drop off the car at valet and staff opens the doors to the posh lobby, to check-in, to elegantly appointed guest rooms, to all the amenities… everything is superb. But where they stand out most is friendliness, helpfulness, and politeness of staff.

the decoration, the staff was super pro and very warm, the location was amazing the only inconveniente was the noise from the street during the night

Exceptional

Such a lovely hotel!! The staff is so nice and welcoming. Coast is a terrific restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner there . Excited to visit again soon ! The bed could have been put on the other wall so that when you lay in it you can see the ocean .

Wonderful housekeeping and property

Amazing staff! Always happy to help with whatever you ask from them. The place is planned down to the smallest detail, both in aesthetics and comfort. The food is very tasty, loved everything. It was a bit chilly during our stay, so we couldn’t really enjoy the pool, although we did see other people using it. Not the hotel’s fault of course. Hopefully next time ;)

The location is excellent for my taste, as it is right in front of the beach and you can ride a bike around the entire area and really enjoy the vibe. * The rooms do not have good soundproofing or insulation from outside noise. * The bathroom has no sound insulation from the bedroom and offers no privacy at all. * The room is not as spacious as it should be. * The restaurant and bar do not meet the standards of a 5-star hotel. I have stayed at both hotels of the group, which are next to each other, and they both have the same issues.

Excellent customer service. The staff was very friendly, and very attentive to details. I let them know it was my birthday and the had a beautiful slice of cake sent up with a glass of champagne. The hotel was was perfect very quaint and the view from my room was amazing. The room looked out to the beach. The food was yummy also. I was able to walk to the pier and you could also walk along the beach. Everything was perfect for me.

Poor

the comforts of the room were impeccable. products in the room top notch. the small balcony with shutters was a great in-room amenity. the wing of the hotel was only reachable by taking two banks of elevators. the lobby lounge was not full on the evening I sat down there, but service was non-existent except at a few tables by the standing bar. I went into the restaurant bar and that was very good service.

Great Hotel located right on the beach with excellent bars and restaurants. The rooms are very spacious and well designed. Very comfortable beds. My room was on the street and was very noisy with no double glazed windows.

The staff were superb, very accommodating and helpful. Use of the town car was next level! Truth - the area was a little scary in the evenings - there are a lot of homeless.
