Nothing Room 806 had bed bugs. Around 8 pm I went to report this to the reception. At first I was told that this is normal that there are insects. After short conversation I realised that the person I’m talking to doesn’t know what bed bugs are, even after I asked him to google it. I try to explain that this is a serious problem not only for me but also for you (the hotel) and the guy raised voice at me: „Why are you saying it’s my problem?! It’s not my problem, it’s hotel’s problem! Don’t tell me it’s my problem!”. At this point I nicely ask for a new room. I was denied new room at first. I went back with other stuff member to my hotel to confirm that bed bugs are all over 2 beds in that room. It took few minutes form the guy to agree to give me new room. When I was investigating new room for bed bugs the person that was with me got angry with me that I was checking both beds. I ask for the laundry service for all my stuff and I was told to wait for the next day. When I explained that I am not going to take my stuff to new room, to not spread the issue, the guy told me that they can store my things in the same place where they stored other guests things who already checked out but have late flights. I did not agree to that and asked for plastic bags for my cloths. The guy told me to wait for the next day for cleaning service. I had to explain the risk once again and finally I was provided with plastic bags with holes in it with the comment „those are small holes, bugs want fit them” - the holes were wide for at least two fingers. In the morning I went to the reception again to talk to manager, who told me that she can’t do anything about it and she can give me number to the hotel managers. I explained that I’m travelling from Europe, I can’t make any calls and I can use only data on my phone, here was her answer „oh, right. Do yo want the number?”. To the last moment they didn’t care that there are bed bugs in the hotel.

Location, value, breakfast, luggage storage prior to reservation, staff was very friendly and helpful even with language barrier, pool was great. Towels were clean but show their age and need to be replaced.
-
Great location! It's close to everything you need. Very outdated. Small rooms with a serious lack of power sockets in usable locations. If you need to charge your devices, be prepared for a struggle. The bathrooms and showers are also uncomfortably small.
-
The professionalism. The staff could speak English and they were really nice. The pre-authorization fund took two hours to be released back to me. If I needed that money for my excursions then I’d have a problem

Nice location i kinda expect the room is better in real life

Location is convenient

My room was okay but had some issues with how it looks in terms of cleanliness and comfiness.
-
Very friendly staff, AC worked well location was great. I was constantly woken up by the guest next door showering late at night because the shower makes a really loud noise across the wall. The sheets were damaged.
-
The room was basic, but the price was right for that. The 3 stars applied to hotels in rio is strange, I’d moved from another 3 star so expected the same…. My problem, nit 5he hotels. The staff were lovely throughout the hotel It was just basic
-
Location; strong water pressure in the shower. Old furniture and moldy shower

There's nothing much to point. The hotel is a bit old-fashioned and there was some spots in the walls and in the bed sheets, however, our stay was great and is very worthy for what we paid.
