High crime area. There was an attempt to pickpocket me less than a block away. Unsavory guys hanging out in halls of building that hostel is in. Smoking including weed inside hostel. Lots of smoking going on with thick second hand smoke. Lockers for secure storage were very small and the lock on the door to my locker did not work. Common wall between men's and women's bathroom did not go all the way to the ceiling! There was a 2 foot (60 cm) gap for the length of the common wall. Peeping toms or cell phones (on selfie stick) could easily watch people in showers, using bathroom, etc. Place was generally overcrowded and filthy. Blanket that touched occupant of bed was not washed...ever... and there was no sheet separating blanket from your body. YUK!

Close to train station. This hostel was so very far below Booking.com standards it is hard to understand why they would list Dama. Just awful conditions. Facility was overcrowded, filthy, in a high crime area, and difficult to access. Within one block of facility, a pick-pocket attempted to steal my wallet. Area is a hangout for the unsavory and drug dealers. There were guys "hanging out" inside the halls of the building where hostel was located. Security was bad in spite of two electronic and one physical key needed to get inside building and hostel. Women's bathroom wall adjacent to men's bathroom wall did not go all the way up to the ceiling. This gap of 2 feet or 60 cm in the wall allowed observation, cellphone photographs of people showering or using bathroom!! Smoking inside was a major issue. This included observed and photographed use of weed inside of facility. Blankets on beds were not clean. Secure storage of traveler's belongings was inadequate. Small, "gym" locker provided was too small and only way to lock locker was broken. A key for locker was provided, but did not work. Have photos including gap in shared wall between mens and womens bathroom, use of weed, size of lockers, and so on, but was not able to load them into your program.

ho works there is ok.

Very unhealthy environment. If the hostel is part of the Italian social system disregard the review. Taking into the account the current world climate change the hostel building should have proper HVAC, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, regardless of building age. The hostel does not have heat ?! It shouldn't operate as a hostel. Southern Italy climate Mediterranean is not anymore Mediterranean. Napoli isn't really a tourist town. There is an health issue and some safety issues.

Get’s noisy sometimes
-
You need to talk to the host.
-
It is very very expensive for the facilities and accommodation offered.
-
It was dirty, facilities are bad, and the place is in disarray overall. I'd say for female travelers stay away. It was cheap though.
-
Over all best for tourist cheap stay but very very good

so dirty the bed and sheets were so dirty

Very close to the station and city centre. Womens dorm was comfortable Male dorm was too crowded. It was too cold in the hostel,no heating. There was just two bathroom water heaters and it wasnt enough for the amount of guests that are usually here

There was a clear effort from the owners to put the property into value. They were working on renovating the toilets, it was clearly not abandoned even though it was not super comfortable to stay there during their renovation because all guests men and women were sharing only one shower, so we had to wait a lot to take a shower. Good point it was very very close to the station. Italian people speak loud, like shouting constantly so it was a bit wild to be in such a big building with so many people shouting in their balconies and slamming doors as if there was no tomorrow. I stayed in a women’s room, we were just 3 women. I went to sleep at 10 and my roommate was in a phone call in the bed next to me for 1:30hs speaking out loud. That was very uncomfortable, but has nothing to do with the hostel itself. The location is very noisy and currently a bit dense. I didn’t feel so secure while walking in the streets near by. But if you just walk with attention and eyes wide open nothing might happen. It’s just a close-to-station neighborhood like any other one in the world.

1 bath for 10 beds

It is fine just to sleep, good location near the bus station and a lot of cafes and places to eat. The kitchen is available and there is a room only for girls. Other guests were not so clean when using the kitchen and table to eat. I also didn’t like that elevator was not available to use.
-
The hostel has only one toilet for all male dormitory guests, and it is not well-maintained. There is no elevator to facilitate carrying luggage upstairs, and no lockers are available for securing valuables. The rooms lack air conditioning, the beds are unstable and vibrate, and the upper berths are difficult to access.

Nothing OMG!!!. I have traveled a lot and this hostel was my worst experience. After finding the location, there is no doorbell and you should contact the number which is on the wall. After some mins, a guy came down and told us you should go to another location. That was so weird to us since we booked there. After moving to new building, we found super old structure with so narrow maze stairs. The guy told us you should clime up by foot. It was so disappointing since we had two heavy luggages. When we complained guy, he told us you should contact booking if you have any problem with this situation. Of course, we called booking and reported all happenings to refund the payment. Finally, we found another hotel, paid double.

The location doesn't feel safe at all. There were no locks for the lockers. The staff didn't know English and it was difficult to communicate.

Just dont stay there
-
The staff very kind and offer support The clean of the dorms. My bed had bed bugs and that’s disgusting! Also, the ventilators are no useful for the dorms temperatures, at night you can barely sleep

The place is okay, not amazing, not terrible. Close to train station. Strictly won’t let you leave luggage before checkin or after checkout times. Only one shower was working and no toilet seats in bathrooms.
