The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful

Location . Bad cleaning standards… Dirty floor… dark tiles hide the dirty but when you walk on your socks it gets very dirty… . The address in the reservation is not the reception address… it’s a bit confusing at first . Very old building and old small lift didn’t fist us all with a baby stroller. . People smoking in the hall in front of the lift was disgusting… we were travelling with kids so that’s not something acceptable for us.

It was in the middle of a slum

At night the entrance is hard to distinguish. The doorway leads to an inner nondescript courtyard. To the right is a sign Palazzo Santangelo, you have arrived.

The reception staff, particularly Alessandra, were very helpful. On my 2nd night a few teenagers (at least 4) started to have a party in their room (204). I was in room 203, I confronted them in the hallway as they were in and out banging the door and playing music out loud. They intimated that they didn't speak Italian or English. On my way out that evening I reported it to the reception and they said they'd sort it out. When I got back there wasn't a sound from the room all night. So kudos to the staff for fixing the problem. The hotel is only a stone's throw from the main train station which is very handy if you want to book day trips to the Amalfi coast or Pompeii. There's also a metro station on the lower floors where you can visit Naples itself by taking the metro lines of your choice. I'd highly recommend this hotel for the proximity to the Stazione Garibaldi alone. I'm attaching a photo of the view from my room. n/a

The host was so welcoming, she even allowed us to check in late and she waited for us. This property is really amazing place to be! So exhotic

Close to Central train station, held luggage until check in. Great breakfast in the morning, delightful! Wi-fi connectivity issues

Is Very handy to Naples Central Train Station ,buses and port. Walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. Rooms large and clean . Comfortable beds and decent breakfast. The name and address of hotel didn't match where I was finally staying. Was extremely hard to find. Thought it was a scam listing. Found it only by chance as no sign on building, never did see a Palace Napoli sign anywhere. Was under different name On the door. When I bought this up to the night clerk and told her I should have been notified of this and how are people supposed to find it, she was quite defensive and rude. The morning staff were pleasant. No windows on my room which I'm not wild about and the street 1/2 block in from Piazza Garabaldi was very rough, drugs being taken in the open etc etc. The only advantage was it was busy area, lots of police, restaurants and one block from Central Train station.

Location- across from the train station. Doors were very loud with the neighbors slamming the doors when leaving/arriving.

Location was really convenient and close to the train station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. Provided toiletries and slippers! Breakfast had a lovely selection and their cappuccino was yummy! The location is convenient and on first impression you may wonder but we arrived late so the litter was a bit overwhelming in the area. But it was cleaned up in the mornings. I think the whole city has an issue with litter. It actually felt very safe, don’t let appearances dissuade you.

Proximity to train station /metro The breakfast room staff seemed quite a bit overwhelmed on one of our days unless you got there at 7 am

Proximity to the train stations, taxis, which is what I needed. Many restaurants within a short walk. Staff was nice. Room was clean. Strong police/ military police presence in the plaza in front of the building. No fault of the property, Naples is just rough around the edges. A lot of migrants and homeless walk and loiter the area. The hotel itself is totally secure and I never felt unsafe walking about outside but I think the heavy police presence is what’s holding the area together.

Good breakfast, and an amazing renovated location
-
Very disappointed Wrong location indicated on Booking .com website. Very seedy and dirty at entrance with vagrant people sleeping in chairs and hanging out all around the property.
-
Location Been close to the train was good. It was noises outside due to people in the streets.
-
Exceeding our expectations. The staff makes you feel like family and the partners Raffa & Vincenzo have done an amazing job?

The location is close to the train station. 150€/day stay experience: The room was renovated through partitions, and the soundproofing was very poor. You could hear the noise from the surrounding rooms until midnight. The door lock was simple, the window was small, and the outside of the window was very dirty, with a strange smell of detergent. The bath towel was unhygienic. When I opened it, I found a bunch of hair from unknown sources inside, which was disgusting.

There was absolutely nothing to like. This is my first time leaving a negative review due to a complete shock and disgust. I booked a 3-night stay at Hotel Belle Suites with my mother for €560, expecting a comfortable, renovated room as shown on the photos of our reserved room on Booking.com. Instead, we were given a completely different room—old, run-down, and located outside the main building in a depressing annex (reachable through an ancient scary elevator) with a terrible unbearable sewage smell in the room coming from the bathroom. Everything in there was rusty, outdated, and honestly disgusting. We had to leave the windows WIDE open constantly just to tolerate the smell. After two nights of this, I complained to reception. At first, they claimed there was nothing they could do and that their manager was “away in Rome for Easter” (as if we ourselves were not away for Easter in Naples). Only after I insisted they call the manager did they suddenly offer us a small room in the main building—finally similar to what we saw online, although still not the larger Standard room we paid for. So it turns out better rooms did exist, but the hotel clearly tried to pass off subpar rooms to paying guests. The listing is completely misleading, and their service was dismissive until pressured. We were refused a refund despite losing two nights in awful conditions and being moved to a small instead of standard room for the third night. DO NOT book with this hotel. Since I see that they respond in a dismissive and rude tone to other well-deserved 1-star reviews here (i.e., revealing their true “customer service”), I attach photos of our paid vs actual rooms in my mirrored Google Maps review as a further proof. Try responding dismissively to this now.

Has an elevator. Comfortable bed. Good restaurants close by.
