Hotel New Sayonara

Nothing The location was convenient, but I never felt safe. Smells but around the area, there were many homeless people, and lots of people from Africa came up to talk to me trying to sell something. The shower was not hot enough, and because the drain was not working very well, it smelled bad. The breakfast was the worst ever. It was served at the cafeteria next door to the hotel. It tasted bad, to make the matter worst, caffe was not hot enough, and the clerk was very terrible.

Clean room with a view over the square, you can see Vesuvius volcano from the balcony. Breakfast is very good. Very near the train station and metro, in a lively area. Plenty of trattorias around. For an early breakfast, they offer a continental option in a near cafeteria. Price during the weekend is very high. Reception is closed from 20:00 to 8:00.

This is a fantastic place to stay. The location is perfect - just 2 min walk from the station/bus from airport and about 10 min to the start of the old town. (Be aware though that, like many station areas, you do need to be a bit careful after dark.) It is located in an old building but it has all been recently renovated (or looks like it has) and everything is modern and clean. Good security after hours as you need a key for the main building and floor as well as room. The people running it are super friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and very clean. Plenty of hot water. The breakfast was a big, fancy and delicious spread. It would have been great to have a safe/security box in the room.

We stayed for one night, skipped breakfast and overstayed check-out time a bit as we missed our alarm. Everyone was friendly, this place is secure. They saved us from this awful part of town where everyone is just trying to rob you. The location is awful but we needed a room located there asap. That's not up to them. They are great.

Only the location . Nothing else ! A disgrace for a hotel . No facilities. Very dirty . You will be shocked. Absolutely not recommend this place

The property is very well located, as it is close to the central station, a subway station, and an area where a lot of shops and restaurants are. The staff was really nice, we had to leave very early in the morning to catch our flight and they let us take breakfast to go. The room was clean and everything worked perfectly for the price. The only thing that could have made our stay better was to have a mini fridge in the room. Other than that, our stay was wonderful.

Nothing! We booked this property for one night with a flight the next morning. It was the most unpleasant night I've ever had in a hotel. The air conditioner did not work even though I turned it on, it was uncomfortably hot, the location is right at the entrance to Naples central station but there is a very dangerous area with lots of shady people(beggars and so on) on the streets. The sheets were relatively clean, but the white towels had turned yellow, which made us not use them. It should also be mentioned that when we arrived at the property at the reception, we were asked for the price of €75, and on booking application the property was priced at €56, I booked on booking but even so, I think that I gave too high of a price for the conditions offered . I will never return to this property. I do not recommend!

Location. Easy access to the train station, underground, city center etc. The area around the train station Mini sfogliatella at breakfast. Disappointed mainly due to the fact that I had booked a superior double room with mountain view, however I was downgraded to a tiny double room facing the inner courtyard. The room should have been facing Piazza Garibaldi since that is the only part of the building with a view of Vesuvius. The room certainly wasn't 22sq.m. as per description, it was 10sq.m. at best since on one side of the bed and at the end of the bed there was barely place for a hand luggage. The shower door didn't close fully, so there was water everywhere. Moreover I felt that the hotel itself lacks basic security features (nothing to do with the location) since the rooms are located on the 3rd floor in a building shared with other accommodation structures and the entrance door to this part was never locked or even closed although you get a key to it and you're told to close it.

The hotel is very close to Napoli Centrale, which is a plus, although the area itself is a bit sketchy. The staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is diverse and pretty nice. The room itself was cozy and clean and had all facilities - I especially liked the little balcony with a view over piazza Garibaldi. The bed was a bit uncomfy and the area itself didn’t make me feel extra safe, but otherwise I really recommend it.
