Hotel Toulousain

Overall, this is a great value and well-appointed hotel. It's quite a long walk (~30 minutes) from the main attractions of Marrakech - e.g. the museums and old medina - but it's in an up-market neighbourhood with loads of shopping and restaurants. The hotel is also very quiet due to the fact that it's away from the street (you have to go down a driveway next to the Zola restaurant to reach it). The receptionist was very kind and brought tea and sweets to my room upon my arrival. Breakfast is very good - a buffet that is well maintained by the staff. There's also a lovely courtyard for relaxing, and a small pool. I was disappointed to discover that there was no shampoo provided by the hotel. After a long day of travelling, arriving at my hotel room at 8pm, I had to go back outside and find a pharmacy. Surely it isn't a lot to ask - even in my campsite in the Sahara Desert, they provided toiletries. The showerhead holder was also defective and pointed towards the opposite wall, not downwards.

I didn’t like anything about that establishment the lady in morning at the front desk was not polite. Room was way too small and cold. Place is ancient and very small. I didn’t have anything to put my clothes not even a table. I spent 5 days and no one came to clean my room. I paid for meals in advance, only to find out it was limited.

The central location The staff somewhat “entitled” attitude or particularly the lady at the front desk. You almost feel like she’s doing you a favor when giving you the key to the room, no “welcome”, no “smile”. Very unwelcoming

Near attractions Breakfast is very poor, restroom is small and don’t have any hanger to hang yr clothes, wifi is so weak, I have only one towel for 3 nights, no cleaning Dirty and very poor facilities

The staff were good! The room did not meet my expectations. It looked very different from the photos and lacked even basic amenities. It’s clear they haven’t invested much in the rooms—for example, the TV is extremely old and very small. You can't even use simple apps like Netflix on it. When I first entered into the room, there was a strong smell of bleach "Javel", so I had to open the window and step outside until it faded! The shower was a major disappointment. I tried to take a shower at night, but the water was super cold, and I couldn't get it to warm up, so I had to wait until morning. Additionally, the room was quite small and didn’t justify the price. At this rate, I could easily rent a small apartment on Airbnb with far better comfort and amenities.

The staff was nice and polite. No Internet in room ATT ALLl,even they website said is high speed Internet. Couldnt connect Tv ,because wasn't Internet.The toilet and shower was literally in the bedroom. In the middle of the room was stone wall not untill sealing and no doors just curtains. And when one of us was sitting in the toilet you can hear and smell everything, that was gross. All the water from shower was sprinkling on toilet seat. Mattress was very hard and in the breakfast wasn't very much to choose from (boiled egg,soft cereal, pastry,bread ,vegetables, and Marroco breads. )
