Ozz Hotel - Kuta Bali

Convenient location. Close to airport, close to Kuta beach and shops. Toilet didn’t flush…. Which was a real pain!

Location was great - 1min walk to local shops and eateries, 5min walk to hussle and bustle of Kuta square. Very dated and needing repairs - however if something was missing you just ask the staff and it was sorted quickly.

This hotel must have been really good during its prime time. Now it's a bit run-down but still managing. The location is good, within 3 minutes walk to the Kuta beach and main road for shops, cafe, restaurant and Spas. Staff was accommodating and the pool is right in front of the room. The bed is comfortable too. Well you get what you paid for. The entrance door swelled due to water absorption and it needed a push to open it. So is the bathroom door. They did not put effort to clean the room to a normal standard as the dust web/dusty strands were hanging from the ceiling and the bathroom floor and wall were not scrubbed. The sinkhole was exposed, risking losing your small stuff falling deep into the sink, and the water somehow smells, but I think it applies to all property in Kuta area. The internet was not stable, and there were no coffee and tea making facility as mentioned in the booking confirmation. The headlights at the headboard were loose and sometime water drips from the AC.

The hotel is in a great spot, not far from shops, bars & the beach. The bed was reasonably comfortable. There is no bar or food available. I was only there one night in order to catch a morning plane. The aircon worked well. Didn't use the pool so can't comment on that, but it was a large pool and looked clean. There was no coffee/tea maker and I needed to ask for a bin. The wifi was sketchy in the room but okay outside. There is no real space around the basin to put any toiletries anywhere.

Bed is very comfortable and the hotel is close to the beach. Nice pool. Manager is nice. Breakfast was good for the price. Has car parking area. A little difficult to find. Turn north down Kubu Kresek (intersection with a sign), which becomes Kubu Anyar (no sign just keep following twists and turns of main road. Pass 1 Indomaret 20 m after 2nd Indomaret there is an alley to the left. Go all the way to the end to hotel. Say hi to the friendly dogs in the parking lot. I used to stay here under different management. It has fallen off significantly. Wifi is extremely frustrating. Entire facility seemed worn around the edges compared to pre-covid. Cracks, outdoor shower didn't work, toilets didn't flush easily, TV didn't work, warped wood on doors. Having said all that, the location is pretty good for the price, but improvements need to be made for me to stay here again ( mainly wifi!!!)

Rudi is so helpful and very friendly. Great place to stay if you want the basics. Nice pool and location. It's a shame that the owners don't spend some money on general clean up and some updates
