Wonderfully unique and close to everything I needed it to be. A secure parking garage across the street was a bonus! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be staying again!

Very cool old building located conveniently near the downtown. Two bars on the property were convenient. Both had live music. Benson, bartender at Snively‘s, was great to talk to, and even sat in with the band. We stayed in the boardroom, which was like an apartment. We just kept thinking of the stories this room could tell.

The bathroom needed some extra cleaning, lights above sink. The parking was on street parking. There were a lot of homeless people around the area. I loved the concept of the hotel though:)

A great location, amazing rooms and great decor. Both bars were great. Bed was amazingly comfortable.

Delightful hotel.

We had a wonderful time at the beautiful, historic Oliver Imm.It was so unique and comfortable. We loved the Speakeasy in the lower level..so awesome ! The bartender was so nice to tell us the history of it!

Historic Hotel with Unique suites and a great vibe. Not your traditional hotel but exactly what we were hoping for. The ambiance was perfect both in the hotel and in the Rathskellar Speak Easy in the basement.

There was no staff on-site so I had to call the company because my room entry code was incorrect. Luckily, an employee at the bar on the first floor helped me out. There was no parking on-site but there was a safe public parking ramp across the street which was relatively easy to use. The room was average--nice sheets and pillows and towels. A lot of slapdash maintenance, things like loose lamp switches/lights, shower handles loose and not holding the sprayer, etc. It just made the room feel cheap. It's a cool historic building but that also means, at least on the second level, the floors were very loud and I could hear everyone coming and going all night. This was also not helped by only a thin glass door barrier between the room and the hallway. There was also noise in the evening from the bar on the first floor. There was supposed to be a sauna on the first floor but it looked like some renovations were going on so I didn't find it. Overall, it was an average experience but it does have potential with the right ownership. Duluth is gorgeous but this will be my one and only stay at this hotel.

The room was cool and unique! The bed was comfortable and clean. The shower could be bigger.

It was really quite disappointing and I hate to leave a bad review; however there were a bunch of things wrong: 1) keypad/door lock to the room was wonky and we had difficulty getting in, getting it locked-it was finally figured out with help from phone and from housekeeping. 2) i was traveling for business and it was stressful to get to room with luggage and then leave with luggage to go to a meeting while door lock was figured out 3) again, traveling for business - no hangers in room, no luggage rack to put luggage on, no closet of any kind-nor hangers to hang up work attire to get ready for meeting. 4) no dresser, no chair, no table or desk to work from-only place to sit was the bed - because the couch in the room was what was availabe to put clothes, coats, etc on 5) provided coffee cups did not fit under the coffee maker without removing/dismantling the front of the coffee maker/cups were too tall to fit 6) when we left this morning - there was a homeless person(?) passed out on the couch in the foyer of the building-phone on the middle of the floor of the foyer and a bag of 'snack's on the floor also - i have a picture.... absolutely not a good morning wake up

Room was spacious, spotless with easy access.

Large room. Great location.

Clean room, Great location.

The room was comfortable, clean, and uniquely decorated. Check in was a breeze. The bar on site looked cozy, but despite the doors being open and someone sitting at the bar we were denied a much needed cocktail after a long drive in a storm.

My brother and I went to Duluth to visit a family member in the hospital and needed a last minute place to stay. We found the Oliver Inn and booking a room, checking in, and get to the hotel was seamless and better than expected.

Neat space located in the old city hall. Don't plan on going to sleep before 10pm as there is live music directly under you. They were fairly quiet by 10pm though. We had a power issue that was promptly handled by staff even though they aren't on site. I would stay again. The parking ramp across the street is very secure too.

The place was very easy to get into. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we loved being right next to the casino. Very good price for what we had!
