The stay was nice. Couple of problems… when we checked in, there were no carts available and once we lugged our bags up to our room, I had to return to lobby to have the staff activate the the card that failed to open my room door. The day of departure, our key card was disabled before we checked out. It was 10:30 and when I mentioned this to the front desk, the fella said, “You do know checkout IS noon?!” I responded with a “Yes, I realize that.” “That’s why we are trying to get back into our room.” So, this isn’t so much about the stay, but rather the staff and their level of professionalism and proficiency.

Everything was very nice. Staff very was friendly and helpful. I wish that I had known that we couldn’t leave dogs in the room alone. I’m fine with not being able to do so but if I had different plans where the dogs were unable to go with us it would have been nice to have had a heads up written online with the pet policies.

Attended Duluth Playhouse performance

Nice staff. Good bed. Paper thin walls. Could hear normal speaking voices next door and from the hallway as if they were in our room. Incidentally, the woman next door was yelling for hours about how her husband is “demonic”. Mold in bathroom.
