He also offered us an excellent room at the back of the building (away from the highway noise). Room 142. The staff member was extremely helpful and attentive. Unfortunately, I don’t remember his name, but we chatted a bit and I know he is from a city near Mumbai, India. He is an excellent employee. There is also a Denny’s right next to the hotel (within walking distance), which is very convenient. Since the hotel breakfast is quite basic, it’s a good option to supplement it there. Parking is available on-site and free of charge.

The room had certain smell like humid or pets pee. But overall great location for my business in that part of the city

I had hair trimmed everywhere, I went to the office to report it at the time and he told me to fix it with spice... bad service.

Location is good Very old room. Pool needs to be more clean and inviting. Breakfast is bad.

Roaches and sheets weren't clean enough. I ended up checking out immediately.

Be sure to request a room on the back side of the property. Easy on and off Central Expressway.

Close to freeway Beds were uncomfortable and room had so many waterbugs.(the roaches that fly) They have you upload your ID and payment method for a faster check in just for you to check in and have go through the full process. If location is most important to u its an ok spot but if comfort and bug free is more important please don’t choose this motel.

Its on a great location. Just a very busy and noisy area. The breakfast is not really a breakfast. For the price, Cool, for the noise noooo.

Spending a good deal of my time in South Americal, I am used to a much higher quality breakfast. Bananas were very green, which meant no fresh edible fruit. Lots of weirdos in the parking lot. Neighborhood a bit scary at night.

Pool was closed. Room got cleaned once during a three day stay. Asked the front desk for an extra blanket, was given a mattress pad. To top it off… a car literally BLEW up in front of the hotel at 3am!! Found a burnt up car blocking the street in the morning. This is not a great area or hotel. Scary.

The room was modern and overall clean. no carpet on the floor which is definitely a plus. My stay was truly disappointing. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that peace and quiet were not on the menu. The loud noise from the adjacent bars was relentless, carrying on throughout the night without a break. To make matters worse, a party was raging in one of the houses right in front of the back of the building, with people outside yelling and singing until the early hours. The chaos felt so close that it seemed as if the party was happening right inside my room. The hotel itself is quite old, and unfortunately, the windows do little to block out any of the surrounding noise. Between the bar crowds, the ongoing party, and the ever-present hum of the highway on the other side of the hotel, it was impossible to get any rest. I couldn’t close an eye until 4 am, which is when the noise finally started to die down. If you’re looking for a restful night, I strongly recommend finding somewhere else to stay. This hotel was by far the worst I’ve ever experienced, and I would advise others to avoid it altogether.

Awesome location walking distance to restaurants shops and bars. Comfortable stay. Our original assigned room had AC issue but was quickly resolved. Much appreciated. Shane was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Hotel lobby check in experience great and smelled/looked really clean. nothing

Very nasty , had insects crawling on the walls, the lbedding was old and wornout. The room was very old with doors and baseboards were all banged up and needing replaced.or painted. Felt very unsafe with rooms in back of building. Will never stay in another La Quinta

Price was inexpensive and location was convenient. There is no exercise room even though Booking.com shows an exercise room at this hotel. Toilet did not flush and ran all the time.

Location was conveniently located in a nice community. Still close to the freeway plenty of restaurants & room service. The hotel had everything to offer that I would expect from my normal four story three story hotel, where the rooms are only accessible from the in interior of the building.

location was great Staff needs more training and room smelled. the guest were yelling and cursing all night. The room as well as outside on balcony. no security made me feel unsafe. i contacted front desk and they hung up on me. i called back and had to beg front desk to make the guest stop or leave. i was up until 4 am pleading with fromt desk to help and loss sleep. Management said they cannot afford to refund me for the poor experience. Overpriced cheap facility that nickel and dimes guest. ive styed here for years but this was the last straw.

Wonderful area, easy access to restaurants and services while on vacation The breakfast was too bare bones and needs major improvement to be considered anything of value. It’s best just to eat elsewhere.

This was right on interstate 75 very noisy all night long.

Shower mat is stained, bed sheets stained, toilet paper roll was almost empty upon arrival, coffee was gone at 8:15am.

The hotel was “renting to a family of 6 w 3 dogs. They took up a good part of the back parking lot & they were loud until 2 am, plus the dogs were tied up outside & barked incessantly. A horrible stay that has left me avoiding La Quinta!

I cleaned the room myself with lysol wipes as things were stuck to the floor and some things felt untouches in cleanliness. It is not a hotel its a motel, doors to outside. The refrigerator wasnt stable and wanted to fall forward...water pressure wasnt the best...couldnt hear through the phone well. It worked well enough for my stay and the staff were sweet. It was VERY close to bars and things to do in uptown.

I checked everywhere and googled and nowhere did it say you had to be 21 to check in. I booked and even did the pre check in and got there and they told me I could not check in. The worker was not very helpful or kind. Also a very sketchy area and I did not feel safe at all.

Staff was actually really nice. The room REEKED OF CIGARETTES even though it was a non-smoking room. Our clothes we didn’t wear even smell like cigarettes now.

Just check the smell of the a/c units, be sure that tvs have local channels (both on the suite doesn’t work because don’t have internet and cable system) and add more bathroom shampoos and soap. I upgrade to a family suite and just have one soap tiny bar and a tiny shampoo.

The hotel is fine, but the room was not as clean as we would’ve liked. Some old stains on the sheets made it a little uncomfortable, Abel. While the hotel is relatively as advertise, it is right on a major expressway, so it gets really loud starting at 5 AM in the morning with traffic.

The surrounding area has a laid-back, convenient feel, with a liquor store and a 7-Eleven both within walking distance. Parking was easy and stress-free. Overall, a solid, reasonably priced hotel in a great location. I’ve found my new go-to for Dallas weekends.

In the shower it is also dangerous with the plastic cover around the drain as it slides on the wet tile. There needs to be warnings. Also, set the shower to point downward, so the water won't race across the floor.

The room was univiting, and there was a dead beetle in the shower. The coffee maker didn't work. The staff, while not unfriendly, was not particularly helpful, either. The hotel clerk told me they had no conditioner for the shower and had to bring a hair dryer to the room. We checked out early and will not stay there again.

We informed the front desk, who displayed an uncooperative attitude when we requested a room change due to the non-functional AC. Given our exhaustion from a 500-mile drive, we requested to pack our belongings in the morning. The attendant, who only addressed my husband, a white male, while disregarding me, a Hispanic female, stated that a second room would incur additional charges. The replacement room had a defective refrigerator, shared a wall with an occupied room where illicit drug use was evident, and, most concerning, had a front door that would not latch, posing a significant safety risk. We report this to Expedia and decided to check out after having been at the property a total of 6 hours. The attendants don't care, are disrespectful to Women and lack empathy, customer service skills and most importantly lack critical thinking. This place is a total scam and not worth the hassle

It wasn’t bad. There were just a few issues. The a/c unit kept making a noise when it went to cool the room which was pretty loud while trying to sleep. The breakfast area was lacking in drinks (milk) yogurt, and if there are more than 6 people coming in to eat there is no room to sit and eat or able to grab things to eat

Water pressure for the shower could be better but the temp was good. I will say, as a light sleeper, the biggest negative for me is the noisy freeway outside. This is of course not the fault of the hotel or staff, it just is what it is, but it's basically like a raging river that is never quiet. You can bring earplugs but I was afraid of sleeping through my early alarm after a very exhausting day.

The rooms are recently renovated with new linens. The best are extremely comfortable. It was actually a really good stay.

The rooms are recently renovated with new linens. The best are extremely comfortable. It was actually a really good stay.

The Floors were not clean. I would not walk on them without socks or flip flops. My son's comforter had a stain on it .

ok - great renovation, everything clean...problem is my door had a one inch gap on the bottom left side...I covered it with a towel...the room itself is a bit loud from the street ...I don't have a huge problem, just put on the fan but others might but everything else was fine. Don't expect much for breakfast - toast, bagels, waffles, yogurt, fruit but for the price - this was an excellent stay for me. I walked the neighborhood behind it which is lovely and funky and close to a great bar. Seems safe enough to me...I'd go back for the value

Ice machine didn’t work

A bit noisy with the traffic and late night guests, but the room was very clean and comfortable.

Close to several great places to eat and also event center.

The beds were comfortable and the rooms were pretty clean. The bedding was very old so had a few stains but I could tell they were clean, just simply stained. The check in process was incredibly bad though. It took forever to get checked in to realize they gave us a room that was already occupied. We ended up walking in on a couple enjoying relations! The woman was not dressed and the man was quite pissed off which I do not blame him however it was completely not our fault. So with our hands completely full with our belongings we made a trip back to the office to get assigned another room along with the pissed off original occupant. Lets just say it was incredibly awkward for everyone involved and so inconvenient as well. It ended up taking a good hour just to get checked into our room.

Roaches, I was greeted at the top of the morning by a roach. Breakfast was really just a quick cold grab…not hot but the lidless coffee. I asked for a coffee lid and the front counter guy never looked up and said that they didn’t have any. I watched as the white guy came up and asked and was given one immediately! Smdh!

It’s an older property that has been updated. Fixtures and furniture are clean and modern and so are the bathrooms. They do offer a small continental style breakfast in the mornings.

I loved everything except the breakfast which sucked. Choices were all carbs-dry cereal, bagels, muffins or waffles. That’s it! Not even peanut butter (protein) for my bagel.

In our first room, there were 2 issues: the bedding smelled clean, like bleach, but had stains and the wall unit was making a terrible sound and was not putting off heat during a cold spell in Dallas. We dealt with it and asked to be moved the 2nd night. In our first NEW room, the wall unit did not come on at all. When we called the front desk, the clerk was rude and said he couldn’t guarantee another room would have heat either, but WE could check?! So my husband went down and had a few words, but we got a 3rd room. This one was better and no noticeable stains on the bedding. Overall, the manager Danny was kind and comped our 2nd night. We used Hotels.com which did rate it at 6.2, they were right!

The most DISGUSTING experience I have ever had at a hotel. When I first walked into my hotel room it smelled like weed. It was midnight I was tired I dealt with it. When I pulled the sheets off my bed to lie down the sheets were filthy. Stained yellow brown and black with black crumbs in the bed. Every pillow case was also stained with makeup and god knows what else. I called the front desk and asked for another room. To my horror the sheets in the second room were even worse. And this time the filth was not only on the sheets underneath but on the top comforter just out in the open. How anyone made that bed and just left it like that blows my mind. Needless to say I did not complete my intended stay there.

For a hotel that is dated it was pretty good. The floors were amazing, the bed and pillows extremly comfortable, nice fridge and microwave. My favorite part was charging stations in all walls, both plug and usb. If i could change anything would be harder water pressure. Other than that this was a great room. No bad smells and not trashy. Very clean.

The location is wonderful! Nice area of Dallas. But this hotel is disgusting! I’ve never left a hotel in the middle of the night until now! It’s infested with roaches. I woke up with one crawling on me at 2 in the morning so I just got up and left! The rooms smell, towels smell. The roaches were the last straw for me! Stains all over the pillows and bed sheets!

clean and reasonably priced

This property is an absolute gem! It's perfectly situated near all the best spots in both uptown and downtown Dallas. I can't recommend it highly enough it's truly the ideal place to stay!

Staff was very helpful. Clean property, qiet especially on the back building. Would recommend and will return on my next trip to Dallas.

Thermostat did not work and never brought towels when asked

Except for being ask for a $75 deposit and there is nothing to charge to that deposit! No room service no wet bar, nothing! So what is the $75 for anyway???? Dumb!

Went up for a football game. It was a great place a great location and good people as well.

Overnight stay for a concert. Bed was comfortable and felt safe at this location. Also a Denny's in the same parking lot which was convenient. I would stay here again.

Within a block of a safe entertainment district in the heart of Dallas. Staff was cordial and accommodating. Some diesel with a turbocharger kept racing through the parking lot after dark. Typical continental breakfast, but Denny's is next door.

It’s remodelled building, looks like new furniture

Door frame was broken and door handle was super loose and holding on by one screw, pretty scary to barely be able to close the door.

Everything was good with the exception of dried feces on the baseboard in the bathroom.

Easy check in . Accommodating

Thin walls, people above my room kept me awake both nights, moving chairs and walking around un boots until 2am in the morning. Told night clerk but nothing wax done. Was told before i paid two nights there was a hot breakfast. When got up next morning there hot breakfast was waffels, rest was cold.

The quality of service is non existent. No acknowledgement, no welcoming of any sort. The gentleman barely looked at me as I am talking to him.

There was nothing not to like about the property or area. Everything was convenient. Even walking to a bus stop. Parking was perfect.

Pool was dirty. Traffic is loud. Staff and rooms are good

Everything was great, except for the sofa bed. That was really bad. Could not sleep on it

Enjoyed the in room coffee machine and microwave. Spacious room, comfortable bed, good working shower. Appreciated the small dog park. The small fridge was not working properly, did not keep the food cold, had to throw it out. Overall a good place to stay.

Too noisy at night

Area was a little busy. Hard to walk our dogs when they needed bathroom breaks. Shower had no water pressure.

Breakfast was basic some staffers were better than others housekeeping was bare minimum clientele was rather sketchy.

There was a gentleman who banged on my door for three hours. Everything looked and felt dirty. The power went out for multiple hours and I did not feel safe.

Great stay and great location, however the water pressure in the room would go up and down and the shower and toilet water would constantly not go down.
