Very unprofessional service

The room The hotel itself is reasonably comfortable, with modern, clean rooms. However, a major downside is the deafening noise of planes taking off at all hours, making it very difficult to sleep. To make matters worse, a fire alarm went off in the middle of the night; at 4 a.m., everyone was out on the street with about ten fire trucks and firefighters everywhere—a terrible experience. After the alarm—which originated on our very floor—was over, they didn't even move us to a different room, leaving us with dirt and the smell of smoke everywhere; there was no breakfast the next morning, either. At checkout, they didn't want to refund us for the night, and we had to insist. Terrible! Avoid like the plague!

the hotel and staff were awesome. the rooftop bar was great. The location is very close to the airport so the plane noise was mire than i had expected but it never bother us at night so not that big of a deal. Though we had our own terrace, we did wish there was a pool.

The rooftop bar was a total vibe. It had a beautiful view. The aesthetic was stunning and would be a wonderful place to hang out and chill. Overall, very impressed and satisfied. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a slight issue with an alarm in the room that went off one morning, but the staff were so prompt and quick to compensate us with free breakfast I really can't complain, the team were great

Closet design VERY VERY efficient and handy. Loved it. Water supply and ice amenity was a good and handy. Staff was very attentive, though it felt understaffed on the weekend. A bit of support is needed at meal time. For cleaning tables and distributing food. Too many customers and very little staff. Yougurt parfait was good. It works for the week - but not for the weekend. Valet very convenient. Looking forward to our next visit.

Front desk was great. The valet guy, I believe his name was Stacy, was exceptionally friendly and just a really great guy. The breakfast was good. And I loved the shower! Great water pressure! Loved sitting out on the terrace. Enjoyed being out there at night overlooking the city. The bathroom didn’t have an exhaust fan. The bathroom got too steamy and warm and I didn’t even have the water real hot. Sweated while I applying lotion afterwards. Also, an outdoor pool would have been nice.

Walking distance to everything. The stores, sight seeing, and the Katy trail. The amenities for example the laundry should be free to each room. I believe it should be.

The beds, the decor and modern look, the rooftop bar was such a vibe!! We had a room with the terrace, which gave us a great view. And the staff was great The master light switch controlled all the lights in the room, so we didn’t know how to turn on the light for the bathroom in the middle of the night without turning all the lights on

Property and room were very nice. Honestly had zero complaints at all! Surrounding area was walkable and safe, with shops and restaurants within a few blocks. Close to Katy trail, a busy path for walkers and runners. Highly recommend!

The bathroom shower door was awkward. Make-up mirror was too small.

Modern contemporary hotel that was really beautiful. Our room was wonderful and we especially liked being able to close the door in between the large bathroom/entry to the bedroom since one of us had to get up early. Lots of space to get ready. The parking situation isn’t great unless you want to do valet parking. You can park on the street, but there are restaurants and workout facilities that are busy with their own patrons. Beautiful safe area though…

WiFi connection is also fenced by some confusing pay walls although simple steps to connection is already available to many similar hotels around US.

The valet was the best part of the experience. Although parking was expensive. The room was average, I could hear every single sound and word from the person in the room next door, hotel bar packed and breakfast on Sunday was over before 10am. No other options but to go somewhere off site. For the amount of money, definite not worth it.

We loved the view from the rooftop bar of the Dallas skyline, but the bar is not open every day, so check availability. The rooms were wonderful with a Hugh tv. Great size, bathroom setup, small fridge, etc. The view of the rooftop & its a/c units was a disappointment, but it is the well located Uptown neighborhood with lots of high rises buildings. Breakfast was an unexpected surprise with a delicious omelet & coffee delivered in quick time. We’ll be back!

Very friendly staff and extremely comfortable beds.

Location was convenient and room with terrace was really nice. Bed was one of the best we've come across on vacations. Valet parking worked nicely. Breakfast was good, the quality varied from morning to morning, so I can't say it was excellent. Reception needs a motivation booster, or an acting class where they learn to make it at least look like they're interested in the guests coming through the door. Can't say anything about the Freeride's (downstairs restaurant) dinner because we waited 15 min for staff to arrive one evening, but no one in reception, restaurant, nowhere.. And last but not least, we checked out 12 days ago and I'm still waiting for the receipt that was supposed to be sent by email. Have contacted the hotel via Booking.com and their sales email, dead silence, not impressed.

Stacey is the first staff member to welcome you as you enter and you can’t miss him. He is truly a gem and a blessing when you have the chance to interact with him. He is who I never forget when I stay at the Canopy.

Jay the bar manager in this place took us n a gastronomic journey we didn’t expect but were absolutely delighted by! We won’t forget his hospitality, knowledge and good humour in a hurry.

It also did not appear that they had the AC on and it was high 70s and 80s outside. I called to request my room temperature be lowered by a few degrees and I dont think they ever followed through. In fact, from the panel in my room it didnt even appear the AC or heat was on at all and the control panel was locked so I couldnt control it myself. This type of thing shouldnt be happening in a semi-luxury hotel.

Our overall stay was mediocre. We had to ask three times for the toilet to be fixed, twice for the tv to be fixed. For the price we paid, it wasn’t worth it. It was my first time in Dallas so I didn’t know which area to stay in.

Hotel was great, service was lacking. Rooftop bartender was obviously bothered that she had business so we left. Valet???? You need more than one person doing this service!

I like how close the hotel is to everything and how clean it is. The hotel is way too loud and you could here everything. Cleanimg crew slamming doors and loud conversations super early in the morning while you are trying to sleep.

I stay here at least once a year and have always loved it, my only issue this trip was i could not control the climate in my room. I called the front desk a few times , they were supposed to send someone becaafter resetting from thier end I still could not change it on my room. The room stayed on heat at 77 my entire stay. Which honestly for the most part was ok, but did get very warm at times.

Like a ghost town. No restaurant or bar open at reasonable time. With no one in line, check in took 30 minutes. “Staff had wrong password.” No service and no sorry about that. Second time there and not going back.

This is our go to hotel when we travel to Uptown. The staff and amenities are amazing and the rooftop bar has an incredible view. It’s a prime location with several dining and shopping options within walking distance. Will be staying here again.

Location is 10/10 and the facility itself is very nice. Great rooftop bar for an end of the evening cocktail. The buffet breakfast was very limited.

Overall the property was wonderful. My only complaint is the service in the bar/restaurant area. Slow service and not very friendly. Couldn’t get a cup of coffee at 10:30 in the morning.

I will stay here again. I recommend it for cleanliness!!

Parking situation

We loved this hotel. It’s beautiful inside. From the outside you wound never know it was a hotel. It’s a really unique place. We always found parking on the street close to the hotel. The room was lovely and clean. It had the most amazing shower. we didn’t eat there but it looked good. The rooftop bar was stunning g although we never got to sit up there as it was extremely busy. I think it’s superstructure from the hotel. We will be staying again.

Canopy by Hilton was great! Especially the manager Bryce S., who completely saved my weekend from Orbitz, who had cancelled the reservation I made through them without notifying me. In Dallas, the weekend of the Texas v OU football game. Bryce confirmed with Orbitz what they had done and went out his way to find two rooms to make up for Orbitz’s disaster. Hats off to Hilton! Orbitz—You’ve lost my business.

Everyone was so helpful and kind. Stacy the Valet was amazing. He always had a smile on his face, was so kind, and was a pleasure seeing him every time we could come in and out of the hotel. He is the first person you see when checking into the hotel and made you feel so welcomed to the property. He is an asset to this property.

There was some construction and idiot drivers making noise that couldn’t be helped. I would stay at the Canopy every time I travel to Dallas. The atmosphere is wonderful, bright, clean and cheerful. Staff are efficient, professional but remain kind and helpful. Service was outstanding, going above and beyond. Requests were answered swiftly and accommodated our every need.

He was quick and efficient, we never waited longer than 5 minutes for our vehicle. We will definitely stay here again!

Amazing beautiful hotel - so chic!!

Comfortable stay and overall great experience.

The front desk check in went smooth and was lovely. I went to the bar to order food and the girl ignored me for a bit before taking my order. Then I went up to my room, walked in, and it was so hot and stuffy. Room temperature was 76 despite turned to 70. I couldn’t open the blinds of the corner city view room I paid for because it was just way too hot. I received a check-in text message asking how it was going and I responded about my room temp. This was around 7:30PM. No one messaged me until 11:30PM. At breakfast I had asked for a glass with ice to drink a cranberry juice and she goes “just put a straw in that and drink it”. Just truly awful service all around.

The hotel is new and modern. Some of the staff were rude and the bar upstairs was closed until 5 pm but still worth staying here. It’s in a great area and walking distance to restaurants and bars. There is no pool but so many other things to do, didn’t miss it.

Front desk never answers the phone. Ever. Zero customer service. Understaffed or uninterested in helping guests. Rude. Better off staying in an Airbnb. People were unable to call our room directly due to staff not answering phone. Towels were filthy; had pubic hairs on them. Will not be back. Could not even get a request in for new towels via phone. Had to walk down. And then had to wait while person talked on phone. Canopy needs to hire more employees and fix customer service issue.
