This ancient house is tucked away on a quiet cup-de-sac close to the Market Square. Our host, Frederik, grew up in the house and has performed beautiful renovations.

We went a second time to this excellent place, and it was as perfect as it was the first time. Bruges is still a very nice city and this B&B fits right in. The rooms are spacious, with a lot of history. The breakfast area fits well and you can always have a good conversation with the host Frederik. He also provided us with a delicious breakfast. Everything was perfect

The building has a history, and Frederik the host did pay attention to the details inside the building and rooms designs. The breakfasts were best! We had a chance to meet the cat Nook who is very friendly. We love to comeback again! Plus the location is very good. None

This B&B is not to be missed—it’s a truly unique home. As the oldest house in Bruges, it has been beautifully renovated into a one-of-a-kind bed and breakfast that blends history with creative design. The room was wonderful, featuring original wooden beams paired with fresh, thoughtful touches. It had everything one could need, including excellent blackout shades for a restful night’s sleep. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was exceptional. Each morning, we enjoyed an incredible breakfast with fresh-squeezed orange juice, coffee, and a generous spread of breads, yogurt, cheeses, ham, fruit, and made-to-order eggs and bacon—there was always more than enough. Frederik was a warm and engaging host who shared fascinating stories about the home, making the stay even more special. We truly felt at home here, and it was an experience we won’t forget.

We enjoy staying at B&B’s when we travel for the opportunity to talk to owners/other guests. Frederik didn’t disappoint as we stayed in his updated childhood home. He shared history about Bruges. Breakfast was wonderful and catered to individual likes. Fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious! WiFi was a bit spotty, but since we were traveling for pleasure, it wasn’t vital to our trip.

The location was excellent. The host was so friendly. Nothing

Frederik has designed every detail of the house by weaving historical artifacts with modern day conveniences - while still keeping a peaceful sense of space! The venue is beautiful and also very centrally placed.

The stairs were somewhat challenging due to age of couple.

Loved all the little details that Frederik put into this historic building! Super cool to stay in his old childhood home too. The bed was extremely comfortable and the location was perfect. I wished we stayed longer but will definitely stay here again next time we visit.

Fredrick is an exceptional host and very accommodating. His home is a historical treasure with all the modern necessities. He has done an amazing job providing comfort yet preserving the historical elements of this medieval home. The breakfast was the best we had on our 12 day trip. Nothing!

This place was great, the location cannot be beat. The breakfast every morning was perfect, a good selection and fresh squeezed orange juice! The room we had was very large and the bathroom was also very nice. There was nothing negative about this property. If you cant do stairs, this might be an issue but otherwise the stay would be great for anyone.
