Formerly known as Hotel De Markies, Hotel Lace is located in the historic center of Bruges, 2133 feet from the Market Square and the Belfry. It offers a terrace and a bar. The location was perfect for exploring the city. The room met our needs and would have been improved if tea/coffee facilities had been available. The choices at breakfast were varied. The hot breakfast choices were only just warm and would have tasted better if they had been hot!.

My room was good once I got into it, but I have a couple of disabled conditions and I thought when it said there was a lift/elevator that I could reach my room alright but I struggled once i got out of the elevator as there were steps down to the room and I use a walker/rollator to walk and could not get it down to my room, also going down the steps there was no banister tol hold on to so had bad struggles. The steps and not getting my walker/rollator into the room with me. Also, I wasn't keen on the breakfast, but that is maybe just cause I'm used to continental breakfasts or full English breakfasts. Food was good that I took

Very central you could walk everywhere from the hotel. Our stay was over the weekend so there was little noise from the road.

Lovely hotel, amazing location, the breakfast was surprisingly good (we were expecting just coffee and croissants, but it was a full hotel breakfast, which was a pleasant surprise). It’s close to a club that closes at midnight, so beware when booking on a weekend there will be loud music until midnight. Wasn’t a problem for us, but keep it in mind.
