This family-run hotel is housed in an 18th-century former brewery in the historic center of Bruges. Maraboe features free Wi-Fi and wellness facilities, only 984 feet from the Bruges Meeting & Convention Center (BMCC) and 2297 feet from the Grote Markt. The hotel staff were friendly and were able to accommodate my check in time after I was delayed for an hour waiting for my luggage to show up at the airport due to the strike from Aviapartner at the time. The room was great for my needs, the pillows on the bed were heavy which I personally like and the mattress on the bed was great. It's perfect if you plan on visiting other parts of Belgium like Ghent and Leuven like I did due to the 10 minute walk to Brugge station. The mattress kept shifting off the edge of the bed whenever I slept on it Whenever I showed I kept hitting off the shower handle causing it to turn off or increase the temperature. I was on the 4th floor of the building and the WiFi quality there was not great, although I'm not sure what it's like in other parts of the hotel.

Location was good. Quite close to town centre. We only met one member of staff but she was very pleasant and helpful.

Chic and elegant throughout. Breakfast far nicer than I imagined. Beautiful hotel. Quietly run. Great private car park. Needed a last minute late check out because of a little emergency. Sandra and staff were kindly accommodating and asked for bo extra payment. We really liked this place and hope we're blessed to visit again : )

It was close to historical city and trains the room was nice with large bathroom and walkin shower.The breakfast was amazing in a beautiful room. There was no access to sit outside and ice was not available.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty standard buffet, but well presented and ample quantities. The room we were initially allocated, right at the top of the hotel, was distinctly substandard, with the wc and bathroom separate from each other, but no way and no handwashing option in the wc. Also not much in the way of windows admitting natural light. However we requested an alternative, which was much better and perfectly fine. It felt like the one given initially was an attempt to squeeze the last bit of usable space out of the building, which was a shame.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was ready early for us. Our room was lovely, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were very spacious. The hand soap left our hands so soft. Could not ask for a better location. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for making our stay even more enjoyable. X❤️
