    I picked this place because it was close to the airport, it had a pool, and shuttle to the airport. Plus the reviews were decent. But, the pool was green and no one was using it. The faucet in the sink was loose and just a trickle of water came out. The room keys never worked on the door by the elevator. Worst of all the AC couldn’t keep the room cool, so I had a miserable time falling asleep. Overall it was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. A good night sleep was the one thing I really needed before a day of traveling.

    Front desk worker was not friendly and looked like he had just rolled out of bed. The hallways were hotter than a sauna and the room was colder than a freezer. The elevator made interesting noises as we travelled to our floor both coming and going. The front desk worker in the morning was also not friendly as he seemed annoyed that I pulled him away from his cell phone to check out to get to my flight. I chose this location as it was decently priced and close to the airport. I was not interested in a higher priced location to be there for only a few hours. Unfortunately, next time I will pay more and stay elsewhere.

    The hotel itself feels as if it is run down. There was a very noticeable mold smell as soon as you began to walk down hallway towards rooms. The smell was very prevalent when entering the rooms. My exterior wall mounted HVAC unit was stuck on high and could not be shut off. Due to the fact that I had a late arrival that evening and was leaving fairly early the next day I just dealt with it. The next morning I noticed that the breakfast was extremely minimal for a La Quinta hotel. I stay at La Quinta hotels quite commonly all around the US. This particular location was one of the worst overall experiences I have had. I fly in and out of the Austin airport often. If I ever need to stay close to the Austin airport in the future I will definitely pick another hotel for my stay.

    The staff. I left a pair of meta glasses in the parking lot. Immediately called the hotel just for them to say they would leave a not for someone to go check the parking lot in the evening. They refused to help me in the moment.

    Overall I had a good experience. I arrived early in the morning (1am) and check in was a breeze. My only complaint was the location of my room. First floor, first room next to the lobby (104). It was loud all night, doors slamming, people talking. I would go back but would request a different room location.

    I thought I’d be close to St. David’s for my medical procedure . Instead by card info was skimmed by night worker Michael & tried to charge $419.82. When I immediately posted a review warning others, I was called by manager Jason Mayo who was screaming, shouting, saying it couldn’t be possible even though I have proof! He was so out if turn in his demeanor I hung up on him & called 911 as I head back from my doctor’s appointment. I am legally disabled in town for three medical procedures and four appointments. As soon as I arrived back to hotel, I was United access to my room because of having posted the review. The manager sent me an email saying he was going to deny me access because of having posted their review. I called 911 back to say they wouldn’t let me have my animal and my belongings back. They finally let me into the room to gather everything up. As I was loading my vehicle, the manager chased me out of the building and into the parking lot and started screaming and yelling at me in person. He was not only yelling in insults at me, but also threatened to ‘ Beat My as$.’ I have fiLed TWO POLICE REPORTS AND AM PURSUING CRIMINAL CHARGES

    The room was clean. The breakfast was good. The shuttle was very good. The staff were awesome especially Mark. My main issues were musty smelling rooms but I was then given a better room. Only one ice machine was working in the building. Lobby smelled like wet dog and it needs some updating.

    The room itself was fine other than the deadbolt not working. I had to lodge a chair under the door. The hairdryer was super sticky. The hallways were not vacuumed, paint was peeling everywhere, the elevator sounded like it was going to plummet, there was a homeless person camped out in the stairwell, and they wouldn't allow me to fill up my water bottle with water from the breakfast area 10 minutes after breakfast shut down. The night staff was good but the morning desk lady did not look fit to be working in customer service.

    Pictures online make property and rooms look good. Room door broken can only move handle up to get in. You have to slam door to close fully. Bathroom looked like it had mold.     The room at the hotel was not cleaned at all especially the tub where there was severe rust and black stains with a used soap as well. Also, by the window, the adjacent wall had a stain where a cockroach was killed AND IT WASN'T PICKED UP. Terrible experience would never stay at this hotel.

    The rooms are not like pictured at all. Layout is the same but very outdated. There was mold in the room, the door barely shut, and it smelled musty. There were cracks in the walls, rust in the shower, and only one sheet on the bed. Definitely won’t stay again.

    The building was okay. Pool closed due to previous rain. Our restroom had a water leak that seemed to come from behind the wall. The restroom was handicap accessible yet water system is faulty and water comes out of three areas and not just one. The restroom smelled moldy. Told folks that they needed to check the water lines behind the wall.

    The trees have not been trimmed in so long the trees sound like they are going to break the windows at any minute. I was only there at night and believe the building needs repaired also.     It was an ok stay for just an overnight after a flight. Staff was nice and polite. Airport shuttle service was good. But the facility needs updated and maintained. Put on the 5th floor- no big deal, until the elevator broke and I had to haul luggage downstairs the next morning. And the stairwell had trash in it like someone was living/hanging out there. Kind of scary as a single woman. And j just saw the biggest cockroach in my life. The whole facility also smells really musty, like it recently flooded. Which maybe it did because the lobby had fans set up around it. Bathroom and bedding was clean.

    It was reasonably priced. It was clean. It was very nicely landscaped. Our view from the window was great. It does appear somewhat like an older property that has been refurbished. The breakfast, which included scrambled eggs and sausage patties and whole wheat toast, was good, but could have been better with some added breakfast potatoes. We thought it off putting that the bathroom didn't have a solid door but like French louvered twin doors with a broken handle and no lock.

    Conveniently located near the airport. The room was updated, and is spacious. Ample storage space, fridge, microwave and coffee machine are convenient. Parts of the hotel are really dated.     I stayed a week prior and the hotel room on 4th floor with elevator down hall from.front desk was perfect. This last stay was a room on 5th floor with elevator behind tv...the elevator was suspect as if it hadnt been maintained in years. The room was clean but the shower was dirty and the chair on the left arm had a chunk out of it missing. Just wasnt appealing and had that been the first stay I wouldnt have booked a second stay

    This property was nearby the event I have to go to easy access to Freeway Employee at front desk guy with tattoos on heavy side, had a very nasty attitude because I went to the front desk twice because my key would not work when I went the second time he seemed like he was ready to go home because he had his backpack on, he was the only person at the front desk and when I told him my key wasn’t working, he had something in his hands and he threw it against the counter and reached out for my keys did not say a word and give me my keys back. Also, my AC unit was leaking water in my room. I did not say anything because I got back late and I was very tired.

    It is 14mins away to COTA, has a decent breakfast, free parking, close to breakfast places and bed is comfortable. The restroom door is broken; you have to force it kinda to close. The carpet looks like it wasn't vacuumed thoroughly. The ceiling looks moldy, or maybe because the hotel is old, the paint has worn off. Repainting the room and fixing the doors would be nice. The ice machine on the first floor is not working.

    It is 14mins away to COTA, has a decent breakfast, free parking, close to breakfast places and bed is comfortable. The restroom door is broken; you have to force it kinda to close. The carpet looks like it wasn't vacuumed thoroughly. The ceiling looks moldy, or maybe because the hotel is old, the paint has worn off. Repainting the room and fixing the doors would be nice. The ice machine on the first floor is not working.

    Hotel isn’t as nice and clean as in the pictures. It was updated but maybe 10 years ago. The door to the room was very basic and let the noises in at night.We were disappointed. Rust stains in the bathroom. Check the fridge settings before putting your food in. Our food and drinks froze. Breakfast was ok.

    I did not like the room it felt dirty and there was stains on the walls and the carpet. The tub had dirt and stains as if it hadn’t been clean in a long time and the water pressure in the sink was low. The staff that checked me in didn’t share any information they just gave me my keys to the room but my main issue was the cleanliness of the room.

    Property and rooms need a Serious Renovation. Room key cards barely worked. Stains on the carpet. You can definitely hear activities coming from other rooms. The light outside the entrance did not work. Pool was closed and looked like it needed a good cleaning. Parkimg wasn't a problem. Was ok enough for an overnight sleep but won't be staying here in the future.

    Stayed in room with shower for rollins (wheelchair accessible) Could not get the stupid water to come on. It is not user friendly. No time to call for help, so sponged bathed at sink.     I had a really pleasant stay at the property. The room was very spacious and comfortable, which made a big difference. It included great amenities like a coffee maker, microwave, and even a bathtub, which I really appreciated after a long day. There was also a desk, which was perfect for getting some work done.     I called ahead as advised and was told just call when you need to be picked up, I did this and, after being out on a hold for a while was told there’s no shuttle today you have to get a taxi or uber. I’d only chosen this hotel because of reasonable rate and the free shuttle and it cost me an additional $20. Wish I’d just paid that $20 to book at a different hotel. It was the in inconvenience and lack of warning ( would be so hard to pre warn us in advance).

    There is no airport shuttle after 11 pm. For a hotel that is advertised as airport hotel, the airport shuttle should be running until the airport is operating (1 am). For late night, it can be by request and need not be a scheduled one. Uber is expensive late at night and the money you spend on hotel + uber, you are better off staying somewhere else. You will get cleaner rooms and better experience for the total cost.

    Only booked this because it was last minute and close to the airport, but to give perspective, I would’ve felt safer sleeping at the airport. The facility is falling apart, leaks from the ceiling, tape over the carpet where it’s ripping up, graffiti in the elevator, the elevator barely works, everything smells bad, etc. I could go on about a variety of things I witnessed in a short 10 hour period. While the workers were nice, there was one of them that appeared to be under the influence. I barely slept due to safety concerns and checked out asap because I decided I’d rather sit in the airport for 6 hours than spend another minute in this hotel.

    All staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was so comfortable! Room was very nice. Quiet at night. The room was nicely cleaned except for the bathroom floor and carpet. Looks like it just didn't get done that day. Also the room looked due for a spring cleaning, like minor grime in the nooks and crannies. And I only notice because I'm hypersensitive to that kind of thing. Overall the room was done up nicely. I didn't have the breakfast so can't comment on that. I would stay again.

    Normally when checking in, you are greeted and asked kindly for ID and CC. I stood at the counter while the check in agent sat in a chair in the corner and scrolled his cell phone. A nicely dressed woman who was taking out the lobby trash can hollered over to the guy on his phone and motioned to him to check me in. He stands up walks over and says “ID and credit card.” After a few mins I was given card keys and was told “elevator is behind the tv wall.” That was the check in experience at this property. After getting to the room, there was visible mold/mildew inside and outside of the bathtub. The tub was rust stained where the railings were mounted since for some reason they gave me a handicapped accessible room. Inside the room, the fire alarm was hanging off the wall by the wires, so I have no idea if it works or not. Thank god it was only a one night stay.

    Room was clean. Pool was not working after confirming with phone call the day before that it supposedly was. This is the only reason for picking this hotel was that it would be fun for my 12 year old daughter to stay there. This was kind of a splurge for us to even be able to afford to stay at a motel. Ice machines were not working, exercise equipment was out of order, No coffee in the coffee carafes. Also outside security door did not even close to latch. Front desk said we should have known pool was closed if we called as staff should all know that. Clean room, but nothing more than the minimum as far as things one would expect to have. Early flight kept us from having breakfast there, but no take and go offered. Hope this helps for an honest review

    Multiple guests smoking Marijuana at every exit door I had to go through instead of designated smoking area. Saturday morning's shuttle driver went above and beyond any other service/employee I encountered both syays this week. As was Monday night's shuttle driver who also checked me in for Friday night's reservation. Day front desk staff again speaks to me and guests on the phone as if we are inconveniencing her. CS is hard but do not usw your CS professional voice on the phone then when you hang up talk loudly enough about the guest where other hotel guests can over hear - rather it was while I was sitting in the lobby eating breakfast or waiting in line to check out along with other guests. There is a time and place for that commentary and it's away from the check in desk/guest common area

    I had two complaints. The lady at the front desk gave me two magnetic keys to the door, and neither worked. After trying both in all directions I went back to the front desk, she gave me two more keys, they didn't work either, and ultimately she went to the room with me (obviously annoyed but courteous) and discovered they would not work for her either. She said she would be right back, and 45 minutes later I went to dinner and was able to get working keys when I returned and went to the front desk. My biggest concern was there was almost zero water pressure in the bathroom sink—perhaps a ¼” drizzle—so to wash my hands or brush my teeth I had to use the shower faucet, which had tremendous water pressure. I mentioned this shortly after I arrived but two days later nothing had been done to address the problem. Also, I left a little after 9:00 AM on my first full day to drive to San Antonio and give a lecture, and when I returned that evening the trash cans were still full, no new towels, and as stated the sink faucet just dripped a thin stream of water. All in all, I would call it a “decent” experience given the great price, but somewhat annoying as well—particularly because of the lack of water.

    We chose the hotel based on the airport shuttle that was promoted on the website. We arrive and inquire about the shuttle for the next morning and was informed it starts at 5:00 am, which would not work for a 6:00 am flight, especially when there are well known TSA delays. Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel was questionable at best. Starting with the homeless man in front of the lobby upon our arrival, the large green algae spots in what could have been a beautiful, to the cigarette butts piled near the ice machine. Very disappointing.

    Clean hotel but our room nope. Our door handle was broken from the inside, took it up to the front desk and they said they would fix it immediately but never did. There were boogers on the wall, chocolate ice cream drips on the side of the tv stand and dirty walls in that area, that pretty much says they just go in there change sheets, pick up and vacuum, no wipe down. Beds were super hard, pillows were decent.

    When La Quinta’s “shuttle” finally arrived, it was a small SUV with a paper sign taped to the window. The driver appeared frustrated by my oversized bag and offered no help loading luggage or finding a solution for the limited space. With three passengers and multiple bags, we had to figure out how to make everything fit on our own. During the ride, the driver casually shared that the hotel’s actual shuttle was in the shop because she had wrecked it—something she mentioned with surprising humor. Overall, the experience was unprofessional and uncomfortable. Travelers may want to consider this when booking near the Austin airport.

    Ben White Blvd, there is a huge piece of the metal grate in the driveway that is missing. There’s no appropriate signage cautioning guests about this hazard and it was nighttime so I drove my car right into this hole. I will be filing a formal complaint. I warn others about booking here. The property overall is very old and not clean. The staff was courteous. That’s about the only positive thing I can say.

    As for the room………… not a pleasant. The TV kept shutting off, the guy at the front desk walked me through how to reboot but then remote wouldn’t work, I tried rebooting it several more times before calling the front desk again. The male on staff was so gracious and moved me to another room, but the TV there was doing the same thing I was just too tired and frustrated to battle it anymore. Both rooms need to have some upkeep in the bathrooms. I know things breakdown and wear over time, but to scrub the mold off and to replace the caulking around the soap dish would go along way. It just needs a little more attention. And last but not least - please make sure the light bulbs are checked - only half of the lamps were working, in both rooms. That’s an easy fix

    The staff was friendly and the room was in good condition. I liked the layout of the room and the bathroom was spacious. The hotel needed some improvements. A paint job will help. Currently the ceiling has stucco which makes it dated and the hallway lighting is dim with the dark carpeting it makes it look dingy. The lobby area is very nice. I did not use any of the amenities so I cannot comment on this. However, the pool had not been cleaned. The leaves had collected which makes it look neglected. I know that removing stucco is expensive but my biggest area that would be helpful is a fresh paint job and improve the look of the elevators which also seemed neglected and a bit scary with the squeezing sound. Lastly, breakfast was good. I liked the individualized wrapped plastic eating utensils and Texas shaped waffles very nice touch.

    It was clean and close to the airport. I'm not sure if it was due to the weather, but there were no delivery options available, and many of the restaurants were labeled as open, but were closed. The room had the necessary necessities.

    There is NO airport shuttle available and the hotel will not reimburse you for any taxi expenses. Our sink faucet did not have any running water, the shower has MOLD everywhere, there was zero heat main floor so too cold to eat in the lobby area for breakfast and entire hotel is worn down and filthy.

    If you book after reading this, that's on you. The lady at the front dest was nice, but that's where it ends. The airport shuttle wasn't running (never mentioned when booking), there's no wifi ("none" written on the key holder), door handles were missing, dirt and grime covered the room walls, trash bag tied over the smoke alarm, the door frame for the outside door looked like it was going to fall off, and foam shimmies used on the doors to make sure they actually shut. I'm not sure how they have an 8.0 rating on here, but I'm thinking they pay the people sleeping out back. Please, spend the extra $15 and stay at one of the new places across the street.

    Our room was not made. We were informed that breakfast ends at 10am. When I was down for breakfast at 9:20, on Monday, I was told that on weekdays it ends at 9am. The shuttle was broken two days prior to our stay. However we were not informed. There was no compensation when I had to uber my way to and fro the airport.

    During this stay I was very disappointed mainly with the customer service. The staff did not seem happy or engaged upon check in and throughout my stay. I had to ask them for Wi-Fi information and what time was breakfast this should be a normal part of my check in process that I should not have to ask for. I got a nice welcome text telling me to respond if I needed anything. I responded letting them know that they was not any wash cloth in the room. I never got a response back from them, and I then asked again if someone would be bringing me one. After No response I had to go downstairs and get the extra washcloth. As I walk throughout the hotel for breakfast and when I came and left, the staff never looked up acknowledge or greeted any of the customers walking in and out, but just seem engaged in their work or nonengaged. Breakfast for the weekend I stayed there was the same everyday with minimal choice. Because I recommend La Quinta to many others especially to the guest that I had brought along with me I was very disappointed.

    We were unable to have to breakfast or use the shuttle service because we had to be at the airport by 4:30am. Shuttle service doesn't start until 5am and breakfast doesn't start until 6am. The staff was nice. The bathroom shower area was gross. Mold in the corners and rust from the fixtures. Otherwise, the room was clean.

    This was a good stay for one night. I will say the walls are paper thin and although the lady next door wouldn’t hush, it wasn’t the hotels fault. The staff was friendly. We left before breakfast. The downstairs common area seems a little more kept up than the rooms did, but overall it was comfortable and I would stay here again for the price. It was also very close to the airport. I think it took me about 10 minutes to get there.

    If you just need a place to sleep after a late night flight into Austin, this place will work. But, I wouldn't stay here for any extended amount of time. The room was a decent size, but very run down. Cracks up the walls, paint peeling, stains on the walls, rust on the tub, bathroom doors wouldn't shut... I could go in. The lobby smelled.like rubbing alcohol, which was a bit nauseating, and there was a dead cockroach in the breakfast area. On the bright side, the guy they checked us in was very friendly and welcoming. I wouldn't recommend this place, and will a different place on my next flight in.

    When Expedia tried to help us get refunded for that night, the hotel manager refused. Thankfully, Expedia was very kind and issued us OneKeyCash for that night instead. On top of that, the building is clearly falling apart. Many things didn’t work properly, including the key cards and some of the outside doors. Our TV kept going dark, so we couldn’t even watch anything. The only positive part of this stay was the front desk staff, who were very nice and polite. Unfortunately, it seems like management does not prioritize the guest experience at all. I would not stay here again and would not recommend this property, especially for families or older guests.

    Hotel said there is no airport shuttle due to personnel issue. The whole reason I chose this hotel is its proximity and shuttle service to airport. I ended up taking Uber but it was quite a strenuous hike to get to the pickup spot with all the luggage. Not at all a pleasant experience.

    We had issues with the room key card. It routinely took multiple tries to unlock the door. The complementary breakfast was disappointing. There was no maid service so no new towels & no in-room coffee after the first day. There were two treadmills in the work-out room & neither worked. More frustrating was that there were no signs to advise “ out of order” on the machines. The property looked “tired.” Had the bed not been comfortable & the shower great, this rating would have been “poor” vs. “okay.” We probably won’t stay here in the future.

    Clean room, well supplied. Nice layout. I especially appreciated the front desk for swapping my room assignment when it turned out there was a noisy group on the patio outside the first room (I needed to go to sleep early). Breakfast was good, nice variety of foods - yogurt, eggs, could have had waffles, cereal. Fresh fruit too. Good coffee. The shuttle driver was very nice, polite and was a good driver in the heavy traffic near the airport.

    Property was dirty and dated, our bathroom door couldnt even close all the way due to door damage and swelling. Paint chips ans rust everywhere. To make matters worse, we saw a large dead cockroach in the breakfast area. Even after they finished cleaning up breakfast for the morning, it was still there! Clearly they don't care about properly cleaning. The one upside is that the staff was friendly and helpful, but overall wouldn't recommend this hotel, even for a quick overnight stay.

    The property was clean and the room was a nice size but things looked rundown. The walls and baseboards were damaged and needed painting. In our bathroom a handle on the door was missing. Also, they were double doors that didn't match up so you couldn't close the doors all the way. The lid on the a/c controls was broken off of the hinges. The TV had 2 spots that were brighter than the rest of the picture. There was a nice hanging closet with an iron and ironing board. Also, a nice beverage refrigerator, coffee bar and microwave. It's a good location but it needs some attention to detail.

    I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this La Quinta really deserves a warning to others. The staff were polite, but my room had a constant loud rumbling/banging noise—like someone pounding on the walls nonstop. It never stopped, not for a moment. Two front desk employees and a maintenance worker came to check and confirmed it was the AC unit on the roof. They all agreed it was “unsleepable,” yet told me there was nothing they could do since the hotel was sold out. So basically, I was stuck in a room where they acknowledged no one could sleep, but offered no solution. By 3:00 AM on Sunday, after getting zero sleep, I called again. A different staff member finally said there was another room (Room 300), but the air conditioning wasn’t working in it. We checked it together—no AC, but at least it was quiet—so I had to pack everything in the middle of the night and move rooms just to get any chance of rest. I appreciate the friendliness of the staff, but it doesn’t make up for the fact that I paid for a room I literally couldn’t sleep in, and only at 3 AM was I offered a room without AC as the “solution.” Completely unacceptable for a hotel stay, especially at this price point. I would not stay here again.

    When checking in I was informed that the elevator servicing the only rooms with King beds was out. That required walking up, no less than three flights of steps or taking an alternate elevator and walking a significant distance. Because of the inconvenience, I asked if there would be any reduction in rate. I was told by the Staff member whose name I can’t recall that he didn’t have the authority to give any rate reduction. He did upgrade me to a king suite. That sounds good but the air conditioner in the king suite didn’t work. The room was 77 to 78° all night long. Five attempts to contact La Quinta guest services resulted in absolutely nothing being none. No one even ever came to the room. The place is undergoing some renovation so I will give them that benefit of the doubt, but it would probably be better just to bulldoze the whole place and start over. This was the worst La Quinta I’ve ever had in my life. The front desk staff was rude and seemingly un knowledgeable and had that “I don’t give a crap attitude”. The facility has elevators down and people renting rooms that are going to be impacted by that should be told before they arrive so they can make alternative arrangements. The air-conditioning system in the room I was in didn’t work as noted already, and there was no attempts to rectify that made. I have been a 30+ year customer of La Quinta Inn & Suites. I’m not sure I will ever go back again. It was a wasted $125. I would have slept better in my car.

    Great place to stay for the price. It did seem like management is having issues on ordering stuff to help staff do their job ex. Ink toner for printers they were having to run to another printer, no laundry soap to sell to guest for guest laundry no coffee at front desk for guest rooms. Other than that stay was great rooms were clean and comforatble.

    We have been staying at this location for 4 years now and it’s gotten worse every time. This time it was terrible we checked in and our keys didn’t work went down stairs 3 other people had the same issue. Got new keys only 1 worked. On our last night our neighbors had the same issue with their keys. Side and back door wouldn’t unlock the doors my husband just pulled on both they opened so not secure then twice while we were there the elevator wasn’t working had to walk up and down 3 flights of stairs multiple times with all our luggage was ridiculous. We only stay due to the affordable rate but won’t be back

    The breakfast was not good--powered eggs, greasy sausage patties and one of the waffle irons overcooks the waffle. The bed was not very comfortable and the shower had prior guests' hair in it. You can also see the stains on the carpeting, where dogs have clearly done their business. The elevator was filthy and worn-looking and when getting off of it on the 1st floor, there was a piece of flooring missing. The property needs upkeep, as a whole!

    We were on the 5th floor and the elevator was broken. When we asked about a secondary elevator we were told that it was out of service. After waiting 15 minutes someone showed up to fix it. Get to the room and the keys don't work...wash, rinse, repeat on the elevator issue. Finally get to the room and the AC was set on 65 - it was about 85 in the room. We cranked it down more and around 3 or 4am it was tolerable. I needed to go downstairs for something and of course the elevator didn't work again. I had to walk down five flights to exit the building. Coming back in was easy though, the exterior doors that are supposed to require a key to get in are all unlocked. Lastly the bed sagged in the middle and my husband and I kept rolling downhill so sleep was pretty crummy.

    Love that this hotel provided transportation from airport to hotel and back. Very convenient. Was only there for one night to catch an early flight out of Austin the next morning. Great stay!

    Check-in was frustrating, the staff member was too busy doing homework to assist us, and someone else had to step in. The cleaning lady rushed us out of our room without cause, didn’t provide clean towels, and even left our door open, which felt very unsafe. When we reported it, the front desk brushed it off, saying we were probably mistaken for checking out, even though our belongings were still there. The breakfast was okay, but overall, customer service was terrible and the rooms were outdated. Unfortunately, this seems consistent with other reviews.

    The hotel on the 2nd floor was quiet. However, the air conditioner was leaking water into the room and the carpet was wet in 1/4 of the room adjacent to the unit. The room showed iits age and the elevator was dingy with carpet missing on the area next to the door of same. Additionally, the card key for the room was malfunctioning 60% of the time. Big departure from the quality experience of a few years ago.

    If you are afraid of elevators then I would advise to take the stairs. The elevator was noisy, jerky, looked older than the hotel, was dirty and had a faint smell of pee. Upstairs the hallway was super hot and muggy, no big deal because I wasn’t staying in the hallway. The rooms are very big and plenty of space to be had for work trips. The fridge didn’t get very cold even on “Max” setting, no biggie because I just had drinks in there. I must have gotten a room that hadn’t been used in a while as there was a giant dead cockroach on the floor next to the desk and another dead cockroach on the rim of the bathtub next to the toilet. The air conditioner had a nice coating of mold on it, the air deflector to push air into the room was causing condensation which appeared to drip back onto the face of the AC. Otherwise bed was comfortable and clean, pillows were standard hotel pillows, it was quiet, TV worked good, and bathrooms were nice. The provided hotel soap bars were weird and smelled like wet cardboard (I have my own soap but use hotel stuff for hand washing). Pool was a green sludge, no need to bring swim trunks.

    Beyond that, the first room smelled like skunk. The second room smelled like mildew but I was too tired to switch again bc it was on the 5th floor and I had to request 3 different keys before one opened the door. The shower had mold. The AC was inadequate for the 102 deg Austin heat. The rooms are only cleaned every 3 days. So ask for additional towels prior if you need them. They start clearing breakfast Before 9 am, so get downstairs before 8:30 am. On the plus side, the front desk staff was very nice, very friendly and helpful (within their means). No attitudes from anyone!

    The hotel was nice in the lobby area, but once you get passed the lobby, every door has stains, like foot print stains, or shoe mark stains, nobody’s cleans the doors to the rooms? I understand a couple of unclean doors, but this was all the way up to the fourth floor where we stayed! & the hallways are HOT! Like humid hot, elevator is old school, & sounds/feels like it’s gonna break when riding in, the rooms are cool when you first get in there, but during the nighttime you’re waking up HOT & having to take the blankets off, the pool was not in working condition either, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned all summer… & we were expecting a last WEEKDAY summer getaway, not even on a weekend & the conditions of this hotel was not up to par, even breakfast, was very basic, cereal options for kids they had was RAISIN BRAN, plain Rice Crispy, & plain cheerios… will not book this hotel again, or recommend to other families

    I had to grab the shuttle to the airport at 6:00 a.m. The hotel shuttle driver asked the lady that brings out the breakfast food to boil the kettle. I waited over 10 minutes and although she was reminded twice, she still never came through. I left without a coffee because I like it watered down.

    Everything looks very run down, dirty, and sketchy. Showers were disgusting. Room keys don’t work. Heard another couple say they had to switch rooms three times because they were so bad. Stayed the night for the airport parking, but will never do that again. Was told to call for shuttle pick up before 10:45pm. Called at 10:40. They took all our information including phone number. We waited 15 minutes and no shuttle came. Called to see what was going on and staff was very rude and just kept angrily repeating that the shuttle ended at 11. Not sure what the point of taking our information was for. Anyway staying is not worth the parking if that’s what you are considering.

    You can tell the hotel is dated. Tubs were old and moldy, doors very dirty and scratched. Elevators very out dated. Besides that the room was comfortable. Pillows werent great.

    Other than the friendliness of the staff, everything else was disappointing. We weren't expecting the most luxurious room but at least being clean and serviced could possibly make things better. The beds were dirty, items in the room were torn and broken, which made them kinda creepy and rundown. The temp in the hallway was hot and humid all throughout the day, and the elevator sounded like at any moment it would cut loose.

    I’m really sad! We have never stayed in a bad La Quinta. We even stayed at this one two years ago and it was nice. The room wasn’t very clean. The bathroom doors were warped and didn’t shut. The bathtub was disgusting. Hallway carpets weren’t vacuum vacuumed. And the elevator was in terrible shape.

    My experience at this hotel was awful. Upon check-in, I was given a hotel room that was not my request at the time of making the reservation. I returned to the front desk where they gave me keys to another room, which still was not my request. My request was a room on a high floor overlooking the pool. I had plans to do water aerobics in the pool. When I got down there, there was green sludge and leaves in the pool. The grounds were unsightly other guest made the same complaint.

    It’s the details this hotel falls short on. Elevator is not clean and it stop working for a while during our stay. The bed was really uncomfortable for my fiancé who has chronic back pain. They serve powered eggs for breakfast, And the pool stayed out of commission. So you clear get what you pay for.

    Location for business purposes is excellent, unfortunately the lady at front desk is very rude, she doesn’t give a welcoming, when she asks for proof of identity, she thinks she is registering someone in jail ,after that she requests to sign some papers and she tosses the pen in front of you . Terrible experience with her the rest I can say it is okay . I hope I do not need to book at this hotel ever!!!

    I have pictures of how dirty my room was. I chose that location for the swimming pool that was filled with green sludge and beige foam broken lawn furniture turned over furniture dirt from plants all over the deck. The doors outside did not lock properly so you didn’t need a key so when I went out to my car, people were walking, they looked unsavory and standing around the property, not safe the desk did not have a toothbrush when I forgot mine to do laundry there they didn’t have detergent or anything to purchase and when I asked the staff in regards to the pool that they didn’t notify anybody that it’s unavailable he stated we’re waiting for the weather to change

    The check in went well. Room was spacious and clean; however, the pool was green and hadn't been cleaned in months according to staff. Part of the reason we selected this hotel were the pictures online. Had we known the pool was out of service, we would not have stayed here! Please update information online or clean your pool.

    Traveling with my 10 yr. old, I booked this for 1 night for proximity to airport and shuttle service. Nowhere is it stated the shuttle stops running at 9pm. Our flight arrived at 11:30p, and they would not send a shuttle; instead the receptionist suggested an Uber or waiting until 5am when it started running again. YES, he asked me to take an Uber with an exhausted 10-year old at nearly midnight on a SATURDAY. This added an extra 15 to 20 minutes to our trek since AUS makes you walk FAR for a Lyft, which we got, and were shuttled by a speeding driver clearly headed from one party to another party. YES, I had to put my 10 year old in this car to get to the airport, when I was expecting a safe, clean shuttle. I paid money I expected to save for an unsafe ride I never expected for my 10yr old. Not staying here again. The elevator also gave away the stage of renovation. Etched into it was the phrase, "yes. sketch." To be fair, it was clean and the morning staff were excellent.

    Pool was broken. Staff seemed unconcerned. Elevator was very jarring. Outside door wasn’t able to be opened with the key. The room door had the door handle installed upside down so maintainence had to come help us get in the room. Overall lots of fixable problems but the convenience was easy access to airport.
