Building is tired and the deep stench of weed is embedded in the walls and floors of the building. Bed was saggy and lumpy and took over 20 minutes to get enough warm water for a lukewarm shower. Front desk wasn't really staffed, leaving long wait times, and there was confusion on taking payments. Parking lot is downhill from the hotel and there's not a place to unload in front of the door, so have to hull upstairs.

Nice place, I asked for extra bedding and towels and they didn’t hesitate to give them out. The refreshment vending machine was broken, so you do have to go out to 7-eleven after hours.

Our A/C was not working properly and we were not able to get an extra pillow. The fire alarm low battery alarm went off, and we had to be moved to another room at 2am, the room never cooled off, the bed was uncomfortable, our trailer that was parked in the motel parking lot had the lock cut off and broken into.

Very Clean, spacious rooms and strong water flow for hot showers. The staff was pleasant also. 4/5 stars

My only issue is I found pubic hair on the toilet seat which made me question the cleanliness of the entire room.

Also, there were homeless dr*g users around the property the entire time. There are 7 other hotels literally next door, id use one of those instead.

During my stay, my original room flooded, and a free night was approved as service recovery. And I had to inquire about it. The hotel did not extend this to me. After checkout, however, part of my refund was withheld for “stained towels.” I have stayed in many hotels, including higher-end properties, and have never once had a deposit reduced for towel or linen use. This room included a kitchenette with dishes but no dish soap or sponge, making towel use foreseeable. Despite this, a discretionary charge appeared after checkout. (I still have not received the itemized list) What made the situation worse was the lack of follow-up. The staff stated that the hotel manager would call me back and never did. I reached out to corporate guest relations and have not received a response. This experience felt like a claw-back of a service recovery rather than fair resolution. Between the flooding, post-checkout charges, and lack of accountability, I would not recommend this location.

Aaron at Front Desk was friendly, welcoming and efficient. He was excellent. The only reason for score of four stars was the amenities are lacking. But I expected that based on the excellent price. Checking out was also professional and friendly staff. Felt safe and really less than 10 minutes to airport. Really appreciated the other reviews which gave me confidence to book the room. Thank you!

This hotel is newer and is always clean and comfortable. We enjoy having the space that a small suite gives, with a table to work or eat at, etc. The internet works well. There is no breakfast but they have coffee in the morning, and the gas station right across the street has good inexpensive Mexican breakfasts to go, if needed. No complaints

I mean the view from window and location aren’t why you’re there - it was priced right and clean No supplies in the kitchenette so not sure how that was supposed to be used

There is no toiletries except for a bar of soap, they have vending machines of snacks and drinks, keep in mind they were mid empty, no water in the room. Half the mattress is on a square of wood and the other suspended with two legs. The mattress moves to the side. It is ok for the price and closeness to airport, a Starbucks is a 8 min walk away. Staff were attentive. Bags are not held after check out. And rooms are not cleaned except certain days for certain floors.

There's no shampoo or conditioner or body wash or dryer in the room. The room smells bad. I spent $824 for 2 nights on this during F1 season and it makes me feel really bad. However it does have a micro kitchen and dining area. Shower cubicle has seats.

Nice room for the price and location. I was charged a $50 deposit but it was refunded quickly. I recommend.

I would have given a 5 star review as the Hotel was clean and staff friendly. But unfortunately the room I was given (302)had very limited access to the internet (just one corner of the room) anywhere else in the room the connection kept dropping out every 30 seconds. This was not great when you have business meetings on line!

I enjoyed my stay at this motel. I usually always book it with my trip trips to Austin was my sister. Everything was great. Front desk was very nice and helpful when I needed anything. I appreciate everything.

We usually stay here when visiting Austin. We always have a car so we don't need it to be walkable to restaurants, we just like that it has parking, a good fridge, areas to sit and work in the room and decent wifi. The room is a good size, clean and works well for us.

My stay here was actually quite nice. The room was well kept and clean. Bathroom was nice with fresh towels daily and fast hot water in all the faucets. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. Only complaint would be that if you are planning on walking or taking the bus that there is a good bit of homeless folks in the area. None ever bothered me though.

The location, price, and the laundry facilities were good. In general, the Staff were pleasant. The mini kitchenette came in handy as eating out daily is not healthy or budget friendly. While the Housekeeping staff themselves were friendly, the once a week cleaning -- strictly based on their schedule -- was difficult and off-putting. When i could not accommodate a thursday @ 4PM cleaning time, I was told I would have to wait until the following Thursday (neither helpful nor sanitary). Also, in general, the place seems not-as-well-maintained and understaffed -- which would explain the very rude young lady at the front desk (who i observed talking to Customers with a 'take it or leave it' attitude). But I won't hold all staff accountable for one or two people's unprofessionalism.

The property itself is in a good location, but as soon as I walked in, there’s stuff that is really dirty. All the furnishings are really dirty. The room was relatively clean, but a lot of the appliances in the kitchen where in rough condition.

Parking is horrible

Property is in good shape, looks to be new. I missed having a breakfast along the lines of a Days Inn. Also, maids never came by in the week I was there.

Nice spacious room. Was weird that they had a kitchenette but don’t provide any plates or utensils. We asked for spoons at the front desk for yogurt and they only had plastic forks. Hot water was good in the shower and it’s in a very convenient location.

This hotel surprised me with how clean and safe it was. It was a convenient stay close to the airport for a night before an early morning flight.

I checked in late and out fairly early so basically only slept and spent time in the room. The room was what I would expect for a "6" hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. There were not a lot of places to eat nearby.

Shower fixtures are hard to control - scalding hot most of the time. Shampoo packets? What happened to bottles? I will choose a different Hotel network next time.

The rooms were spotless with a fresh, clean scent. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom featured a spacious shower with great water pressure—no mold or poorly done repairs anywhere. The front desk staff, especially during check-in, were friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning!

It was okay I guess. Room smelled like Curry real bad from someone cooking in there. Three crappy pillows on a crappy mattress. You get what you pay for I guess. Guy at the front desk was very nice though.

Stayed for 6 days. 3 days I didn't get full soap and shampoo, or towels/washcloths. Kitchenette w/ no utensils, dish soap. Loud Russians partying w/ loud music and prostitutes. Mattress 6" on a board. Night time manager was nice. Will not stay at this or another associated property. Last straw.

The housekeeping was nice. The shower water pressure was horrible. A roach was in the bathroom. The homeless in the area were loud at night.

We came to Austin for the COTA nascar race. The hotel was clean and modern. Bed was comfortable. We slept well after a long day at the race. Checkin was smooth and the agent was very accommodating. H-E-B was about 3 miles away. Very convenient for food as we had a kitchenette in our room. The neighborhood seemed safe. We never felt unsafe. Convenient to the highway. There’s a nice subway sandwich shop across the freeway. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The parking area is very small around the building and it seemed the staff took most of those spots

The lobby and the room were fairly clean and the front desk staff were nice. The bed was what I imagine a king size prison cot would feel like. No continental breakfast in the morning, and the shower pressure will remove your skin. Stayed in much worse, stayed in much better.

Area is not the best. My car was towed by the hotel, even though I had my parking pass in the dash. After several calls to J&J towing they said my pass was in the car. I had to go to towing yard at 3am to get my car. There was No offer to return my car by J&J towing, even tough it was unlawfully towed. or offer from hotel to get me a ride to my car. I had to get a Lyft ride to get it and it would have cost $250 if my pass was not in the car, even though I was a hotel guest. The Lyft driver was nicest of alI ( at the towing yard down a dark road with a single light bulb by the office window, dogs barking, middle of the night...he got out and made sure I was ok and waited until I got to my car) I left one day early because I was afraid it would happen again. I was not offered any compensation from the hotel, for the night I didn't stay or the Lyft ride. The area is up and coming; however, still not considered safe, in my eyes.

Perfect place to stay if you’re going to seismic dance festival

They have security but the morning I left somebody broke into all the trucks that was at the hotel and the hotel and police didn’t do nothing about it, so I definitely wouldn’t be staying at that hotel again. Everything was good except the vehicles that got broken into and it was thanksgiving day when somebody broken into them.

The room and hotel were very clean. The only thing the room can use is a nightstand on the other side of the bed. I had to pull a chair over to use as a nightstand.

Great stay for 2 days. Front desk checked us in right away and we're very courteous. We had 2 rooms and each room had the kitchenette which was nice instead of eating out. Rooms were clean and very spacious. Would definitely recommend this property.

It was the perfect room for what we needed. Clean, easy check in, affordable. The ONLY "knock" is the area is pretty rough, but that has nothing to do with the hotel. Would stay there again without any concerns

My stay at Motel 6 was for a sports event, so not much time at the property. Stayed two nights and only enjoyed a shower and a clean bed.

The front desk was great and tried to reassure me but this is not a good single woman stay. I gave up my non refundable booking before I even saw the room and spent money elsewhere to feel safe. Seemed like they rented rooms for long timers more than overnight guests.

Just stayed one night, but the room was great. It had a kitchenette, the room was large, very comfortable, and very clean. I would definitely stay here again! It’s also close to the airport and quick access to the highway.

Well maintained considering it’s a budget hotel

The bathroom door closed, but wouldn’t latch. It looked like a pre hung metal frame door, but the latch and the strike plate were slightly out of alignment. All of the screws were tight, so it may just need some shimming in the bottom hinge. Also the shower door knob had a loose set screw, so the handle came off.

You can take a bus that will drop you off pretty close to the hotel for $1.25 and it’s like a 15 minute ride. If you’re driving or taking a taxi, it’s like 5-7 minutes, so very convenient! There’s a convenience store near by (like a couple blocks from the hotel) and that’s about it. If you want to go to a restaurant, I’m sure there’s some nearby, but you’d have to drive there (not walking distance), and downtown Austin is like a 30 minute drive give or take.

We arrived late into Austin and were greeted at the front desk without any issues checking in. Room was exactly as in the pictures good sizes and super clean. Plenty of free car parking, very close to the airport. Would stay here again if we’re ever in Austin again

A pleasant, convenient hotel near the Austin airport. Room and facilities were very clean. Kitchenette with microwave was nice to have. Front desk staff were friendly. Note that city bus route 20 to the airport doesn’t come by until 5:30am - too late for early flights. Take an Uber instead.

Booked a room on hotels.com that was supposed to have a shower/tub combo. Was informed at the front desk that there would be an upcharge for that. I informed the girl at the front desk that the room I booked had those amenities listed and I would not pay the upcharge for their mistake. They would not meet the agreed booking. I cancelled my stay at that time

It was a great location for my work, and I appreciated on=site security. Rooms and property were clean.

The establishment is full of deception. Upon arrival, I was unexpectedly required to provide a $50 deposit at the reception, a detail conveniently omitted during the room reservation process. Threatened with reservation cancellation, I reluctantly complied, only to find my card debited for the security deposit. Upon departure, I anticipated the full reversal of the deposit, yet to my dismay, only $32 was returned to my card. Upon inquiry, I was informed of alleged stains on kitchen and bath towels, a claim I found preposterous, especially considering I had left a tip for housekeeping upon leaving. I am not recommending the hotel

A wonderful stay, easy parking, great location, and the suite was very much appreciated. a new hotel.

The location was perfect. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was clean and well maintained. Our only complaint was that the bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were very hard and very uncomfortable.

Second time staying, not as nice as the first time

The stay was very quiet and relaxing compared to other motel 6 in the area and kitchenette was excellent!

Another disturbing policy they have - they enter all rooms every day, whether you're there or not, and under their policy of "security check" - NO PRIVACY. Another disturbing fact - this Studio 6 hotel surroundings are populated with homeless people and dangerous looking individuals just walking about. Another disturbing thing, something I haven't seen anywhere else are the postings aboit child trafficking. There must be a reason they posted these sign everywhere. Overall, I cut my stay from 4 day down to less than 24 hrs. I wouldn't recomend this Studio 6 to anyone.

I stayed in room 404 at hotel 6 by the austin airport with a noisy refrigerator. I asked them to please make it quieter that morning but it was the same the next day. Did not sleep well at all. I will never stay in that room with that refrigerator ever again.

Nice hotel

The property is neat and clean.

What a beautiful area of the country and Rain Forest is such a great spot.

The walls seem paper thin. We very clearly heard the people's conversation next door and someone was making tracks upstairs. Another couple were having an agrument. That all simmered down by 1pm, but we were a bit on edge and hardly slept.

Really nice place. Wish the beverage vending machine wasn't out of order.
