We selected the hotel for a three-night stay partly because of its location near The Domain, and enjoyed the surrounding trees. The hotel seemed very well run, and breakfasts were outstanding. No complaints!

The sheets had stains on them and the room smelled like a damp, wet towel.

The location is great, with access to a number of ways to get around. There are restaurants and shopping close by at the Domain.

Everything was good

The hotel is older. The elevators are hot and the hallways were hot. The A/C in my room did not cool very well and the room had a musty smell.

Unfortunately, the past two times I have visited, there have been problems -- some sort of hall leak where they had drying machines going on all the time, and then this time, the gym was blocked off for repairs/something. I have a feeling it's the same issue, but didn't like paying full price (more than usual this time) for less facility access.

I’m sad to say the bed wasn’t comfortable at all and we barely slept. The staff was very nice about it though! We will try it again on another trip. This was our second time staying there and the first time the bed was more comfortable in another room!

The location is great and the breakfast waa better then some other chain hotels we have stayed at. The shades in our room were broken and would only close half way, which was the only thing negative about our stay.

Unfortunately, the facility is dated and in need of refurbishing. I would stay there again if the price is right due to the pleasant and helpful staff.

The staff was very friendly. The refrigerator in our room wasn't working. An engineer came and replaced it. Although it wasn't working perfectly, I really appreciated his effort.

Second room I was given was nice, queit in comfortable overall. The staff is very good. First room was loud. Noise from the street and tons of noise from other rooms, constant coming and going until late at night. It was a Friday but seemed unusually noisy. Then while laying in bed a cockroach comes crawling across the carpet. Before i could kill it it went under the sofa couch. I moved the couch a ton but was not able to find it and wasn't going to spend all night hunting for it. So I slept hoping on wouldnt wake up with it on me in the night. Luckily I didn't.

Personnel were great (Aracely and others at the front desk, Brenda and Brandy in the breakfast kitchen). This hotel, like all Hampton Inns we have stayed at is clean, comfortable, well run. It is not close to downtown and not within walking distance of shopping or a variety of eating spots.

The staff was amazing and very helpful in everyway. The ladies at the front desk got us extra pillows and a fan to help block out the noise coming from the street. I wish this facility had fans in the bathrooms and the study area was not really a study area in our opinion. We thought it should have been separate from our sleeping area.

The location was nice and convenient. Housekeeping never came to the room, I never got new towels or the bed made. I asked for an extra pillow and they stated “did you not already get 4”. The elevators were scary slowly and continually getting stuck. The AC didn’t work. It said 68 but was terribly hot and stuffy. Felt like 75.

The Staff was very helpful. They tried to clean my room twice while I was trying to sleep and had an extended check out.

Flight was delayed (three times!) and the staff dealt with my request for later checkout graciously. Then allowed a further request to be handled easily. Great location for my business requirements and the quality of the staff is why I have been using the Hampton for years.

Staffs were very friendly and helpful. We had some problem with heater in the room. As soon as we told front desk about our problem, they sent somebody right away and eventually exchanged our room.

The room was spotless, the counter lady was very supportive when I lost one of my hotel keys, and the breakfast served was great. Great place and convenient location. The hotel is a little above your basic accommodations. The rooms are spacious and clean. Furniture may be a little out dated, but if you’re not expecting modern or luxury, everything is as needed. Staff was super friendly and very professional.

I was greeted by the desk clerk. She was very pleasant, and took an Interest in my stay and any needs I may have. She explained all the amenities, and offered the hotel's points system.

Everything was great except the elevator. One of the elevators gets "hung up" on the 1st floor. As a consequence, the whole systems "thinks" there is an elevator on the 1st floor, so another will not come when the call button is pushed. You have to wait for someone from another floor to bring the working elevator down to the 1st floor. Get that fixed and you get 5 stars +.

The room was good, it just had a stuffy smell to it, like humidity. The breakfast was good, just not enough variety. The A/C in the room was working but I had to lower the temp to 66 to make it cool enough. The staff were friendly and professional.

When I arrived at Hampton Inn my reservation had not been changed at all. Luckily they had enough room availability to switch my reservation at the front desk. I won't be using Expedia again. Terrible.

Breakfast was not good. Mostly spicy food which I can’t eat. So decided on a waffle but waffle mix was empty but the worker finally decided to bring a cupful. Air conditioner was loud and the refrigerator never turned on to cool, so we had to drink warm water.

The smell of our room was icky. I. Relieve someone had smoked in the room and it was trying to be covered by a cleaner. However, the room smelled bad and it was a bit uncomfortable. Also, the air circulation wasn’t good. I stayed warm most of the night and the A/C didn’t seem to kick on. Overall, the bed was comfortable and the restrooms were clean.

The shower situation was horrible, water all over the place, shower spray in an awkward place so couldn't shower without water going everywhere into the bathroom. Lotion was out of the dispenser, but mostly bathroom was not good.

Otherwise, enjoyed my stay and will replace the nearby La Quinta with this Hampton for about 60 nights per year.

Overall, it was good. My only complaint was the breakfast shut down at 9 AM on the weekday and starts later at 7 AM on the weekends. These times seems a little restrictive and could be a little bit more liberal. Thanks!

Breakfast was a lovely surprise -- they include croissants, and these are actual croissants, not just crescent-shaped bread. They had a good variety of other offerings too. AC was so effective we mostly left it turned off, despite 90 degree days outside, the room stayed cool.

Overall, our stay was good, but we did experience one issue. My daughter noticed a cockroach in the restroom, and when I checked, I found a small one under the sink area. I tried to get a picture, but it ran and hid before I could. Other than that, everything else about our stay was fine.

My wife & I stayed at the Hampton Inn Austin NW near The Domain for the nights of Sept 19 - 20. The front desk lady was nice by allowing us an early afternoon check-in. The hotel staff were generally polite and helpful. The hotel room was clean, tidy and spacious. The breakfast provided at the hotel was reasonably good, though the food varieties were limited. To go to the Target is a 30-min walk from the hotel. I shall recommend the hotel to other guests to live in.

I didn’t like odor in the rooms, I tried switching to two other rooms..same smell. Mold, musty smell.I didn’t like hair on the toilet, I always clean my hotel bathrooms anyway but to visibly see hairs was gross. I did like the breakfast, Makayla was very helpful. Another staff member who worked overnight was also kind and helpful but I forgot her name. Free parking nice and area seemed safe.

Our stay was FANTABULISTIC!! First time in over 10 years my husband and I have gotten to take a vacation and spend time getting to know each other again. The A/C was AWESOME, breakfast yummylicious, the hotel smelled wonderful no matter where you were and the staff was excellent. We will be staying here again in the years to come.

So first off, room can use an upgrade in decor and we found a creep crawly in the bathroom. Shower pressure isnt great but the water was wet and hot. It was quiet, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent especially since it is included. Close to the Domain area and other shops and about 13 mins from downtown. Overall a 4 out of 5.

The moment we walked in, Mikayla welcomed us with warm, chocolate chip cookies and a friendly smile. She laid the groundwork. The rooms were clean, beds super comfortable, walk-in shower appreciated, and breakfasts were varied and provided choices for ANY age. AND, the HOT coffee pots (And water) were kept filled with a variety of creamers if wanted. Didn’t use the pool because we were too busy in Austin, but watched each morning as the area and pool were cleaned. No complaints with this property or stay!!

One small problem I did have was that my room smell like sweat but I don’t think that’s the fault of anybody. I think it was just the AC unit in my room needed a new filter.

This is a good hotel. Pretty clean. Good size swimming pool. Room is little dark and breakfast is decent. You won’t be disappointed.

We have stayed at this hotel several times when we come to Austin to visit family. Always clean and comfortable.

This hotel was perfectly adequate for my long weekend visit to Austin. It was conveniently located, the room was comfortable (excellent shower), and the breakfast adequate. When I was there the elevators were having problems so I just used the steps to the third floor (out of 6). The TV remote was weird but I did not come to watch television. The desk clerks are very friendly and helpful.

It’s really close to the highway and they don’t have cameras to protect the gusts vehicles!

We asked to extend our stay when we arrived and instead of making easy and helping us book for an additional 3 days they just told us we couldn’t since we used Expedia. They just said we would have to do it through the hotel but did not proceed to offer any options in person. Our room also had underlying BO scent, we tried cleaning, airing out, and air freshener-ing the room ourselves but nothing worked, didn’t want to move rooms after a stressful weekend looking for somewhere to stay since our house was not accessible due to the storm. Instead of trying to book again we decided to just go elsewhere. We won’t be staying here again and advising out of town family/friends to stay away

I was somewhat concerned to take my family to Austin as I have heard there are high crime rates and homeless. I was pleasantly surprised to find the Hampton to feel safe and secure. It was in a convenient location right off the freeway and had good amenities. The free breakfast was great and coffee/tea available all day was wonderful. I would stay here again for a quick stay in Austin or when passing through.

Cleanliness and organized room with an easy check in process. Staff upon arrival was attentive and kind especially with the check in cookies that were offered and delicious! The area around was safe and quiet. Will be recommending and booking again when traveling back!

It is a Hampton Inn and is good for the price. Clean and in good repair. Third place I have stayed in hotels in Austin and the best so far for the price. I will stay here again!
