For an affordable stay in a convenient part of DC to be in for sightseeing, this was perfect. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and we enjoyed taking the bicycles provided here out to visit the museums. Would stay here again!

No operational safe in room for stay. The “reflection” pool is not a swimming pool, its only for looks. Given different times for common area use (Grill), depending on who is working. Rats problem so take your trash out on 3rd floor….

Beautiful hotel! And the rooftop pool was amazing! So close to the white house you can see grounds from the rooftop!
-
Very clean and large room. Minimal additional amenities.

Will definitely stay here again, everything was top tier. Already planning on coming back after the new year, close to everything you'd want to see and visit. The staff is amazing also!!!

Great stay. Easy check-in and lovely staff. The room was great and had extensive amenities. Only slight disappointment was that the pool was a reflection pool (3 inch depth), which felt deceiving from the website.

Very clean hotel! The amenities were great, clean gym, pool was nice. Very close to everything. Will be staying here again if I’m ever back in DC.

Will definitely be my place to stay every time I visit DC

The staff was extremely friendly and polite. The location was close to the Metro which made it convenient to move around. The property was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this location and I would stay there again.

Great to have a well equipped kitchen!

This place was difficult to find. We had some issues while staying there. The white blanket had old blood on it, we were on second floor and the trash room was making awful noise all night on our first night there, and the microwave didn't work. Other than that this place was a nice and secure place to stay, close to metro and staff were courteous.

Overall my experience was good except the last day when I had to move out. The property is an apartment building, and the entry doors are opened by a fob. Once you check out and give back a fob, you can enter only by calling a front desk, and there was one guy who was extremely unfriendly. I went out to grab a coffee and I had to explain why do I want to enter back in a lobby after I was staying there for a whole week. Besides that encounter, everything was pretty good.

I had an amazing stay at Roost White House this weekend and honestly can’t wait to go back. The room felt more like a fully equipped apartment than a typical hotel room. Mine had a private balcony (which I absolutely loved), a dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, stovetop, and a well-stocked kitchen with plates and silverware. There was also a Bluetooth speaker and a huge TV — everything felt thoughtfully set up and incredibly comfortable. The location is unbeatable — just a 5-minute walk to the White House — which made exploring so easy. The building feels very secure since you can’t enter without a key fob, which you receive at check-in. That extra layer of security made it feel safe and private. The room was spotless, and I especially enjoyed having my coffee out on the balcony in the morning — such a peaceful start to the day. The lobby is beautiful, and I appreciated the convenience of the vending machines stocked with snacks and drinks. Check-in was smooth and provided all the information I needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive — truly great customer service. They couldn’t have been more helpful. In my opinion, this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. It genuinely feels more like staying in a stylish Airbnb apartment than a traditional hotel — but with the service and security of a hotel. I didn’t even get the chance to check out the gym or pool, so I guess I’ll just have to come back!

The rooms are nice I stayed with my wife and daughter for 2 nights. It is a great location for sight seeing 10 to 20 minute walk to the national mall and close to good restaurantsand venues. I made a mistake when booking and didn't say 3 of us were staying so had to wait a day for a second set of sheets not to bad but never got a second comforter. I have a feeling they have off site laundry or something similar. But i also booked the 1 bedroom with den that says on the site sleeps 3. I assumed it would have beding for 3 in room. I also had to ask for coffe filters for the coffee maker in room. So in all a little tightening up on the room amenties would be nice. Other than that the staff was nice the place was very clean, spacious and quiet. More like an air bnb or apartment than a hotel.

The room itself was beautiful. Our sheets and blankets had some suspicious stains on them but we were even able to look past that. However, it was hard to look past the unbearable front desk staff. The ladies working there probably need a refresher on the rules and policies of their workplace. When I arrived someone told me the room was ready but was waiting for inspection, and another person told me the room is booked out? I waited hours before getting a room and then finally she asked my name and said “oh wait this has been ready…” ???? They tried to charge me $100 for parking and when I mentioned it was already paid for she laughed and said “oops” without even double checking ??? She told us check out was at 1:00 pm and at 12:30 management was knocking on my door asking us to leave because check out was at 12:00??? No extra towels, no extra blankets. Pretty sure staff was high. Beautiful room, terrible service.
