Alam Terrace Cottages

Great location, the property was very beautiful and quiet but still close to the heart of Ubud. The staff were very kind and helpful. We got a good price for a bike rental. The bathroom had a bad odour of stale water, and the shower pressure was very poor. The bed sheets were also very old, they were stained and ripped and the bed was uncomfortable. There was also a lot of bugs in our room.

Location, swimming pool, spacious room, quiet. Toilet had problems each morning, but always ended up getting it fixed (staff would help).

Location is quite away from Jl.Bisma and for our room on ground floor you have to go down so many stairs

I like the view and the staff are really helpful. The shower really moldy and doesn't seem to be cleaned. I have stayed in a lot of different hotels and hostel, this is the worst shower and it doesn't even have towel when I entered. I did not even want to take a pic from that. The bed sheet is torned and the room is dark.

We had a big issue. One night we came back to the hotel and the room and terrace was completely full of dead black butterflies and cockroaches. The night staff tried cleaning but didn't succeed. We were tired and spooked and when we tried coming back to the room we saw cockroaches coming from the shower (it had a hole from where they were coming). That night my friend and I had to leave for another hotel. When I complained to the hotel they were smiling but refused to provide any sort of repair. Not even the courtesy of a coffee. Very disappointed.

Beautiful view, good location with a lot going on near by. Great breakfast, and awesome room service, sweet staff! 5 g tower close by, room smelt like smoke,. The bath tub was small and not deep enough for a decent dip!

It was really nice to stay in a peaceful area in the forest while being able to walk to the restaurants or cafes. The staff was very nice and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. We really liked our stay here.

It had so much potential Our room was dirty, the comforter had crusty stains that would not be there if it had been washed, toilet dispenser was broken and worst of all was the mould on the walls

I enjoyed walking the little path to the hotel though I suppose that could be a negative for others. There are plenty of restaurants and shops close by and the main downtown area is in walking distance but far enough away that you don’t hear the noise and traffic. The room was lovely, the bed was gorgeous though the mattress was firmer than I prefer. I really liked the balcony. Unfortunately my room had a bit of a smell. At first I thought it was the bathroom drains but the bathroom didn’t smell, only the main bedroom area. Not sure what caused it. The windows in the bathroom were open without screens and too high to reach too close. There was a mosquito net on the bed but I still didn’t really want open windows. I also wasn’t a fan of the weird rocky thing in the bathroom.

Beautiful pool, beautiful room, lovely staff

The swimming pool is great, the location is decent, however you would need to walk around 100-150 meter taking your luggage along from the main road. You would feel living in wilderness with all the trees around.the staff is friendly and helpful. The furniture is out dated, there are insects and ants all around. The room lights are very dim. The breakfast is good, however they did mix up my veg food with chicken on day2, so that was bit disappointing. The AC is pretty average.

The maintenance of the room was precarious. The toilet golder was following apart. The shower was dirty and was peeling off.

Great stay! The pool was nice and the surroundings were peaceful in nature. It was calm since it was a bit secluded but still so close to the restaurants and attractions. The staff were so helpful to help us book travel accomodations and day trips. Breakfast and coffee was just okay but it was so easy and close to go out for breakfast that it wasn't an issue.

Big, comfortable and traditional room. Amazing terrace with a nice and relaxing “jungle” view, beautiful swimming pool. Location is very central, but place is quiet, despite the chaos of the town. Bathroom indeed lacking basics such as toiletries, toilet paper and hair dryer, cleaning could be done a bit more attentively (but staff promptly intervened when notified). Very touristic area, not ideal for those who are after something more remote.
