The staff were so helpful and kind, the location was great. The villa was clean and we loved that it was so close to the monkey forest and you could hear and see the monkeys on the roof. The staff did warn us to keep the doors shut at all times, though we left the screen door open and a monkey came in and took some biscuits we had lying around, which was our own fault. There is no real hot water and some general maintenance could be used.

I like the location and the price. It can use some small repairs. I know the weather causes lots of wear and tear. It kind of constant maintenance. I felt some retouch is needed.

Close to city center-15 minute walk.reasonably priced Monkeys on the roof at night were noisy. And not sound insulated Could hear the family’s young children next door at midnight.

Quiet, with a large living and separate bedroom Good ac and toiletries. Lots of options for breakfast. Nice private pool and large fridge! Very friendly staff! A lot of ants and some mice droppings, but sitting area and toilet are semi open so to be expected, if you get room cleaned every day then it can be kept to a minimum

Excellent location, just on the edge of the monkey forest but far enough away from Central Ubud (easy access via a walkway. Plenty on monkeys came to visit in the garden and a lovely array of restaurants just down from the villa, we really enjoyed the black sheep breakfast. All staff were lovely and helpful, a big recommend for a Ubud stay. As we were travelling with young children a connecting door between the two bedrooms but it was super safe.

Absolutely everything was great, I will definitely come back here more than once. The food in the warung at the villa is very tasty, the room is clean, upon request they clean the villa every day, the staff are very friendly, welcoming and ready to help at any time. Around the villa on the roofs there are monkeys running, which was very fun for our 2-year-old son. Very peaceful and quiet area

We loved the small private pool and the bed was very comfortable. We rally loved the nearby restaurants Alam Pizza and Black Sheep Gelato. Both were great! It was fun to see the monkeys nearby each day. They did wake us up one night with their noise on the roof. We could hear other guests during the day but everyone was quiet at night (except the occasional animal).

I loved the nets around the bed for mosquito protection when you sleep! They cleaned everyday and were super accommodating. A lot of places are pretty walkable and less than 5 minutes of the monkey forest was on your list. Keep in mind the outside bathrooms have friends that visit! However, if you come to Bali for nature it’s part of the package.

The private pool was amazing, and we spent many hours there. Outdoor bathrooms are novel, although that novelty does wear off during evening. The location is reasonable: directly beside the Monkey Forest, so very quiet while being a ~20 minute walk to town. The street has some very nice shops with good massage, gelato, amazing pizza etc. The villa restaurant was very good and we had a great breakfast every morning. The hot water cylinder was tiny and although it reheated quickly, it could barely complete a single shower. Lots of bugs in our room. The street is full signs saying rideshare pickups aren't welcome, which was a bit awkward. We got a huge discount but I don't think the property was ever as highly-priced as the discount suggested.
