The Alena Resort A Pramana Experience

Breakfast was amazing and we were able to have it on our wonderful balcony. The staff were the friendliest, happiest people we met on our trip. They laughed at all of my jokes, which is a real test for any human. The food was also excellent, we really enjoyed the barbeque evening with the excellent singer from Sumatra. The manager Mr Dewa could not do enough for us. There is no real soundproofing between the 1st floor suites due to the traditionl wooden roof construction. We could hear our neighbours kids being unruly at midnight. I don't expect the ground floor suites would have the same issue, but they don't have the view or same privacy. The management spoke to the guests but they were unable to manage their children. We were offered an alternative luxury suite, but we declined. The staff were so nice and super apologetic regarding the situation.

Mr Dewa and his team were exceptional. Property is at best in Ambience, service and hospitality of its guests. None

The best thing about this property is the staff. They were very courteous and had your best interest in mind. Although when we stayed there were new staff that couldn’t really understand what we were asking (language barrier) . But the staff who served us in our room were a breath of fresh air. very pretty smiles, really made our day. Our flight was arriving at midnight so we got to the hotel at 2or 3 am. They welcomed us with food and even gave us a special breakfast the next morning . they also made an effort to surprise our grandma (nanny) with a bouquet of flowers and cake on her bday. plus they arranged the bed with flower petals that said Happy Bday . So sweet. The place is tranquil, peaceful and really relaxing if you want to just stay in the resort. It’s just sad that we were not really able to enjoy the resort since we had different tours/activities daily. i suggest this place for people who want a good place where they can just lounge and swim in the pool. oh ! i also love how healthy their bfast is and it was so pretty! the room i booked was for honeymooners i think as there are no doors in the bathroom. This was not ideal for my grandma nanny who was very conservative. Also, it was dimly lit, (very romantic) which is also not my preference. it was ok in the morning as we had a porch that brought in the light. but the light in the evening was not ideal for me.

Staff were so lovely and helpful. The room was delightful and the shower was the best I had in my trip to Indonesia! Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were delicious. It was also my birthday whilst i was there and the brought out cake and flowers which was very sweet! Highly recommend if staying in ubud.

The staff is exceptionally kind and profesional! They will make sure everything is taken into account to make your stay great, and what we loved is that everyone is aligned on the guests, and know every detail, which shows very good communication! Also, the massage is soo good! We loved it!

Ala carte breakfast was outstanding and have healthy options available. The staffs went beyond my expectations to fulfill the infant needs like steaming & sterlize the feeding bottles. The Chef and restaurant staffs took serious care in preparing infant food throughout our stay and they even asked ingredients and food consistency for my baby and made our stay best way possible. Highly recommended this for family with babies. ?

The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and impeccably clean. What impressed us the most was how the entire staff genuinely cares about guest comfort, making sure we enjoyed every single moment. We are very grateful to the Manager and the whole team for making us feel so special during such an important trip. Also, the restaurant food is simply delicious and of outstanding quality. My stay at The Alena Resort A Pramana Experience was nothing short of incredible. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine Balinese hospitality that instantly made me feel relaxed and taken care of. The resort itself is beautifully tucked away in a peaceful village just outside central Ubud, surrounded by lush jungle and rice fields—it truly feels like a private sanctuary away from the crowds.   The rooms and villas are thoughtfully designed with a perfect blend of traditional Balinese style and modern comfort. Waking up to the greenery and serene atmosphere every morning was easily one of the highlights of my trip. The pool area is stunning and tranquil, perfect for unwinding, and the on-site restaurant offers a great mix of local and international dishes with a beautiful view. The spa experience was also exceptional—super relaxing and exactly what you want in a place like Ubud. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone went above and beyond to make the stay special—always smiling, attentive, and genuinely kind. If you’re looking for a peaceful, boutique-style resort in Ubud that offers both comfort and authenticity, this place is a hidden gem. I would absolutely stay here again.

The Alena Resort was perfect for my wife and I. The resort itself was beautiful and romantic. It felt very private and intimate. The villa was better than we could have imagined. It felt like our own little piece of paradise. The food was exceptional and there was a wide variety to choose from. But what made our stay memorable was the staff. From the moment we arrived until we drove away to the airport, the staff was beyond attentive and helpful. The staff knew our names and remembered our preferences. Any requests we made were attended to fast and thoroughly. Even our special requests were done exceptionally. We booked the floating breakfast and the pool flower decorations. The end result blew us away. We are still in awe of our time there. We cannot thank the staff enough for this truly amazing experience. The property catches your eye, but its the hardworking, attentive staff that makes the difference.

All the young team in the hotel, they are smiling and laughing all the time , All was beautiful, one thing which is not under the control of the hotel , the 50 to -100 meters of the unpaved road from the main road to the resort,

The staff made an effort to know us by name, ensure everything was perfect. They responded with kindness and patience. The spa facilities were great, the food was excellent. We will always remember our stay, it was unreal.

Have a great staff full of smiles and able to assist you in any way needed. Was only here for two night but felt so welcomed every second of our time here!!

If there was any sort of request, it was sorted out straight away. The room itself was big and I love the balcony. We are a family of 4 and the extra bed was great and comfy too. Love the turn down service, it made coming back to the room after a long day feel great. We went there to celebrate our anniversary and the hotel made a special arrangement for us and so did the cafe. Ubud itself is very beautiful and the hotel has such a natural vibe to complement that Ubud's beauty It was great, would love to come back for another visit
