Clean and friendly staff. No noise. This is a love hotel (a regular hotel does not have condoms by the bed). It was not promoted as such. I would not have stayed here as a single woman if I had known. There are 'clubs' and other 'establishments' next to the location not suitable for families with children. As a single woman you might not feel safe here (drunk men around the hotel at evening).

Toilet and bathroom were in good, clean condition with amenities as you can expect to receive in Japan in a business hotel but perhaps also in a love hotel. Ikebukuro Central falls into the latter category. :-) If you want to experience a love hotel in Japan - there you have it. While there were other guests who also booked a "stay-over", most of the guests during my stay were staying hourly with mostly young women who assumingly got reimbursed for giving gentlemen company. As a result, the elevator was busy all day and you had to calculate 5-10 minutes more to move from your floor to the reception or back up. Very small room, now window, no space to sit, just a bed (hinting as to what the purpose of the place is).

Near the station, A lot of ways to reach the station, few minutes walk to the hotel If you travel for work, highly recommend not to stay at this hotel, it is noisy, The train run almost day and night, surrounding area is also noisy! There is no non- smoking room! Everything is small and narrow

Love the location. Basic amenties are there but not much else. Worst hotel that I've ever stayed at. Also looked like a love hotel. I also did not feel safe.
