We travelled as a family, but I can imagine this as the best fit for group of friends each staying solo in one room per each. - Great location for exploring Shinjuku. - Very stylish modern design, loved the look of the whole hotel. - Lovely café within the hotel building. We tried the breakfast, it was very good, Western style. We also had the pasta and vegan pizza, it was delicious. - Nice staff. - Appreciated the opportunity to store our bags in the lobby after check out, it felt very secured. - The curtains are not light-blocking material, there was a lot of light coming to the room in the morning. - The glass bathroom as a part of the main room: While the see-through shower could be considered romantic, there is also the see-through area for the toilet... There are several curtains to cover the glass walls, but if you need to use the toilet, it's not very romantic as you can see through some gaps in the curtains and there is no ventilator to turn on in the toilet area.

I love the location of the hotel. It was on a quiet street that was also close to everything. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The rooms, though small, were very comfortable and very well kept. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property.

Rooms were small but very comfortable. Property was clean, easy to get to. My ONLY qualm about our room was that there were no hooks in the bathroom and it was hard to dry out our towels.
-
The rooms are tiny. But its Tokyo!
-
Nice toilet!! Slightly small. But ok for 1 pax.

The highlight of the hotel is the second floor seating area, which is well laid out with dining tables, couches, and access to the laundry facilities. You can enjoy your own food and drinks there. It catches the sun nicely through the day, and there is a lovely cafe below along with a courtyard. The service is great, and they make a wonderful Flat White, among other things. While not particularly social, it's an enjoyable place to relax throughout the day. The only real issue is the size of the rooms, which in fairness is listed in the booking if you check the room sizes. Because the shower and washroom are raised platforms and enclosed with glass, it feels like it would be challenging for even two people to be comfortable (unless you're in the honeymoon phase, I suppose). You have the option to 'draw the blinds' on the shower stall, but it's still very much central to the room, and there is a certain smell that permeates afterward. Vaguely chlorinated pool, though bordering on mildew-y if you're sensitive. Clean, as per Japanese standards, but regrettably it's been the least comfortable room of my stay by far, and I was a solo traveller. Expect even smaller than you think, and you will be prepared.

Good location, nice staff, nice breakfast Maybe it is not clear from the pictures how SMALL the rooms are. It barely fits the bed. So small that there is no room to open your suitcase unless you put it on the bed. The lack of ventilation makes the room very humid after a shower (which is basically a glass enclosure within the small room) and it always smells damp and moldy.

Loved the location - close to shinjuku but just far enough away that it was quiet. Would recommend.

Safe instruction and safe model in the room did not match

The rooms are nice The location

The location was good and convenient for getting around. There was no room to open a suitcase. It’s not ideal for longer stays. Housekeeping only ran until 1 pm. Overall, very basic.
