Beside the amazing Vue and the good room, WE LOVED the staff, they were so welcoming and very interactive, We end up making friends here more than in busy hotels in the city
-
The pool lamp was broken so at night it is too dark to swim

Will stay there again in the future.. Not enough variant of food, and they don't sell any snacks or chips, far from minimart

Very good value more then the price

This place was absolutely gorgeous! Hands down one of the best spots we stayed at in Bali, no regrets at all. the staff were legends! super helpful and sorted out whatever we needed. We spent a lot of time in the private pool, but the shared one was just as good, both with unreal views over the rice terraces. Waking up and seeing the mountains in the morning was pretty special too. Food was decent, and since the villa’s out in the rice fields, we usually ate at the restaurant for dinner. Good feed, good prices, no complaints there. All up, such a great escape from the busy part of Ubud, especially in peak season when it’s packed. We’ll 100% be back?

we really had a great time at Tanta Escape! we got tired of the busy Ubud central street and decided to escape to Tegallalang for a little bit, and didn't regret it at all. the surrounding rice terrace view from the room was soooo beautiful, we have never seen any view like this with this price! so we think the value for money is so good ? breakfast was delicious, and staff were very attentive and were able to arrange everything we requested. we did the cultural trekking, and it was fun learning how to make canang and interacting with locals and of course, trekking the amazing rice terrace! we also love the private pool that overlooking the rice terrace view. it was a great and refreshing 1 night stay for us. we will definitely be back again to stay and maybe try the yoga session!

I stayed at Tanta Escape for a week for my birthday holiday in Bali. The Villa was beautiful, located in the middle of the rice field. Each villa has its own plunge pool. Interior was very spacious and aesthtically pleasing, high ceiling with wooden beams, floor to ceiling glass walls around the villa which allows you maximum view of the beautifully landscaped surroundings, very comfortable king-sized bed facing the plunge pool and a view of the rice fields, quiet neighborhood, outdoor shower, my own sunbed and umbrella next to the pool (great for sunbathing). Ms Ari and the rest of the staff: Putu, Ngurah, Tika and three others whose names I forgot were so nice, friendly and attentive. Ms Ari made sure I was having an enjoyable and comfortable stay at their place by checking on me daily and arranging delicious breakfast, tours, transportation and even a massage. There were some occasions when she and her husband even gave me a lift to Cretya in the morning, and picked me up in the evening as well. She and Putu also arranged a beautiful floating breakfast for me. They both speak good English, which made our communication very easy because I knew they understood exactly what I meant, and vice versa. Overall, I had a very relaxing and memorable experience at Tanta Escape. Very warm hospitality by the friendly staff, especially Ms Ari. I would definitely stay here again. The shared swimming pool needs a bit more attention.

Spacious room, complete amenities, very quiet, friendly and helpful staff, no other properties around which is great for us who just want to sleep in. The road to the property is under construction so you can't take your car in, but the staff will pick you up, or you can walk, it was nice to walk along the ricefield and it only takes 5 mins. Water pressure was so low (if another room is using it), make sure you bring enough food with you as there is no place to buy anything, the private pool was a bit dirty with frogs in it but we're okay with it, thats what you get if you live very close to nature.

It’s a huge villa with large bed, the bed was comfy. Bathroom is also great with big bath tub not to mention the private swimming pool. The surrounding is very peaceful and serene considering it located in the middle of rice field. When i arrived there were no one at the lobby. There was only one staff that working and apparently do almost everything. I booked the accomodation a week upon my arrival but the staff didnt get my reservation.. said i was “sudden” so they didnt really prepare. The main pool is large but seem bit dirty (maybe due to lack of staff).

Off-the-grid location, great staff and activities. The road to get to the hotel is pretty challenging, especially after the rain. Better to have 4x4 if you go there. There is no restaurant on the premises and the one you can order from is not the best one out there.
