Lovely staff, and amazing views from the rooms. Staff were friendly and really made an effort to take of our every needs. Shower room and toilet did not have privacy screens. Construction site near hotel. But overall great stay I would say!!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Cicada Resort. The rooms are very large, modern and comfortable. We had a private pool overlooking the green - which was absolutely amazing. The hotel offered free afternoon tea, and water in the room. The room was very clean and the staff very friendly. For breakfast we were able to order from the menu - which was fine. There were plenty of different options. The hotel is quite remote - and we enjoyed the quiet location. Communication with the hotel ahead of the stay was at times a bit challenging. They offer a nice range of activities and I think it would be great to be aware of that even before arrival.

Amazing selection of breakfast. Most breakfast items were out of this world. The resort is very serene and quiet, great for a retreat.

Everything was perfect, and the staff was so friendly. Especially Mr. Lalu, who was always around to make sure every guest was enjoying their time at the hotel! I can’t say enough good things about the hotel and the management, I truly look forward to going back! Nothing, everything was perfect

We stayed in the deluxe villa, the stay was amazing. The staff is super friendly and welcoming that you would feel they will carry you. The room was clean and they paid attention even to the smallest details. The private pool is temperature controlled and warm . The breakfast is amazing and super delicious and they offered us halal options as we requested. Everything was just lovable and amazing. I want to thank Mr. Lalu, Ms. Hana and all the team Nothing to complain about . It will be best if you need to relax in the resort and enjoy facilities. But in case you are going for daily activities I would recommend to go to another hotel more close to the city

We liked the villa room where we were staying. It had a lovely view overlooking lush green forests and a relatively quiet relaxing ambience (save and except some loud guests in neighbouring villas). We enjoyed our swims in the heated pool and the early morning outdoor coffee and breakfast by our villa pool. The property isn't very large but it is quite beautiful. Climbing the several stairs to our room several times a day seemed daunting, but we managed to find several coves for resting, relaxing and photographing on our way up and down :) The multi-levelled architecture possibly adds a dimension to the aesthetic appeal of the property. The front-desk and restaurant staff was generally very hospitable and welcoming. Barring a few disconcerting moments at the time of check-in, they were fantastic. Thanks to them for making special complementary arrangements for my wife's birthday. The service in the room was a bit slow. The room toiletries weren't replaced even once during our 5 day stay. The worst part about the property is it's location which is quite far from the main centres of Ubud. But having said that, will probably choose the property for a future stay owing to the other positive factors.

Absolutely everything. Cicada is like a dream come true for those who want a peaceful experience in the heart of a authentic Ubud Forest/jungle with stunning views and many facilities. The food was outstanding whether it be the breakfast, lunch or dinner. We stayed at Villa 01 which had a private pool and it was stunning, super clean, modern with a beautiful finish. The staff were amazing. I can’t remember all the names but to all who we met ( I remember Adi who was brilliant) thank you so much for such heartwarming time. We could not ask for more. They were extremely polite, always serving with you smiles and always helpful with anything you need. I must give credit to where credit is due, this resort is somewhere I can return to happily knowing I will be taken care of. I noticed some comments regarding staff “pressuring” guests however that is not the case. They are being polite and just making conversation with no ill intentions. Good staff makes a big difference when staying at resorts and hotels, I can definitely say these staff members made our time there even better. The Spa was beautiful, me and my husband had a couple spa on our second to last day which was delightful and relaxing to say the least. All the pools and jacuzzis were lovely and clean and not a busy overlooking a stunning view of the forest. I could continue writing forever if I’m honest but the best word to describe our experience at cicada luxury resort overall would be perfection. Nothing for us.
