    Solid property that covers the basics very well. Easy checkin/checkout, plenty of parking, and in a central location. The hotel looked like it had event spaces so in general it felt spacious and there was always a steady flow of people.

    Friendly staff, spacious atrium, good ambiance, clean and useful fitness center. Comfortable room and pleasant linens. Hot food at the breakfast buffet was subpar - we had better experience at 2-Star rated hotels. $4 coffee at the buffet was the worst - simply undrinkable.

    I enjoyed our stay here. Sleeping at night, the room was fairly quiet despite a lot of travelers and soccer players staying here. The hotel had a very nice bar area and a Starbucks. (Very limited coffee menu). There was a coffee maker in the room but I was afraid to try it since most hotel rooms don't have good coffee so, we did the Starbucks. My daughter had the Fresh start breakfast in the room, which was very good except for the orange juice. It smelled as if it had fermented. Staff were mostly all very friendly. I definitely recommend staying here if you don't mind paying for breakfast and parking. Parking was a bit difficult as the lot was almost totally full when we arrived. (We arrived in the late evening.) Disabled parking is limited. Other than that the hotel is very nice. Beds comfortable. Room was a good size, charging station for devices, plenty of lights. Plenty of towels in the room. Shampoo and conditioner along with body wash available. (Take your own if allergies to eucalyptus, and other botanicals)

    I had to be searching for a microwave and an ice machine. I eventually had to go to the front desk to ask. Iwas located on the seventh floor and had to go to the eleventh floor to get ice and the fourth floor or first floor to use a microwave.Then I was told I had to pay for my breakfast, when I was told that my booking included a continental breakfast. As well as a seven to ten days wait to get my $50.00 refund was a bit long I think.

    Good location, the room is clean. Quiet. But I don't know, maybe it's because no one lived next to our room. You have to pay $10/night for parking. The AC was very loud. In the description it was said that we will have 2 queen beds, but it was not true. Beds were so small, I'm not even sure that they are full size.

    The rooms were spotless, and we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor pool. However, the staff was incredibly unhelpful. They made a serious mistake by confusing my son’s and mine’s reservations. To make matters worse, the coffee at the in-house Starbucks didn’t taste like coffee at all. And as if that wasn’t enough, there was an unexpected $10 daily charge for parking outside without valet service.

    While the staff was polite and attempted to accommodate us by transferring us to another room, the overall condition of both rooms did not meet the expectations of a deluxe room. The furniture showed visible wear and damage, including torn cushions, chipped finishes, and heavily worn carpet that looked old and poorly maintained. The sheets also had an unpleasant smell, which made the stay feel less clean and comfortable. There were noticeable issues around the bathroom and flooring as well, with damage around edges and trim that gave the room an unfinished and neglected appearance. Unfortunately, the second room had many of the same problems as the first. For a deluxe room, I expected a cleaner, fresher, and much better-maintained space.

    Didn’t have a good time Nina have spoons and forks and stuff out. You have to ask them for everything and very rude for them to keep checking your room to see if you’re eligible to eat. I’ve never been to a hotel like that went to eat with my kids and they told me that my husband couldn’t come back to eat because we already ate.

    Parking lot looks okay but we felt the need to ask if the hotel had security, which they said that they did. We never once saw any security at that hotel. The overall feel of this Marriot location is a bit dated and not much beyond standard fare. We were most surprised that there were no microwaves in rooms and only a few scattered around the hotel for communal use? That’s not great. Beds are large but not all that comfortable and need replacing possibly as ours was soft. Pillows were down or faux down but were so flat we were glad we brought some from home. Our door to our room had some sort of locking mechanism issue but still locked. Towels were clean but no hairdryer. Ice machines on three floors only but that seems to be the case in some hotels. There was a free laundry area. In these large hotel chains it always comes down to the small things like making sure hand sanitizer stations actually have sanitizer in the containers. There was never any water in the lobby dispenser and the elevators were needing to be wiped down. The bar area was bright and looked cool enough but nothing enticed us about the bar menu or the restaurant menu at all so we just Dashed and got some great TexMex that we could not reheat in our room- that was again, not great. If you are a business traveler I think you might want certain amenities in your room.

Great location as well, so it's easy to hop on and off the major freeways to get to wherever you're going. (Bonus is that you cannot hear the noise of the highways from your room, even though it's right there.) The AC was a little loud when it would kick on, which could be an issue if you're a light sleeper.

    room: 9/10 very clean, lots if fresh, plush towels, bed was super comfy. Only complaint was the toilet kept turning on about once per hour which was a little annoying, but when i closed the door it was barely audible. hotel amenities: 10/10 big bar and decnet seating area with TVs. Clean pool. Nice fitness area, w weight machines well kept but could update the stationay bike. Lots if towels and cold bottled water. Dining: could improve the pricing and quality of breakfast. I ordered from the menu and it was more expensive than the breakfast buffet, but was perhaps a lower quality. Menu could also use some improvment and could also add a la cart options.

    The staff was great and the hotel was clean. The bedding (room 505) did not meet my expectations. The mattress was not on par. Also, I am a tall guy so the toilet was too low (at least upgrade those). Plus, I do not recall in my booking that there was a charge for parking. When I arrived, they explained that parking was going to be $10 per night. That was disappointing, given that there was no parking garage nor did I ever see a security guard walking the premises.

    Had a horrible experience at this hotel. My truck was broken into while parked 7 spots away from the main entrance to the hotel lobby. Worst part is there were many other vehicles that had gotten broken into that same night that were also parked in the hotel parking lot. My window was smashed and truck completely ransacked. I was later informed by the front desk, that they have a security guard who works overnight and is on a golf cart patrolling the lot. Come to find out from another employee who informed me that the night the break-ins occurred, the security guard was sleeping while on the job. On top of all of this, when you get there, you have to pay to park there in the first place. I have been trying to get in touch with the manager who puts his number everywhere in the hotel, guaranteeing exceeding expectations, but has yet to return phone calls or answer any of the times I have called.

    The pictures are very deceiving. The room was dark, no windows, low ceiling, and pubic hair all over the bath tub. I told the staff and they came to clean the tub. A truck had its window busted out and there were 4 police officers there when we were checking in.

    Don't go there if your handicapped. All the handicap showers are upstairs but the handicap toilets are downstairs. No microwave in rooms. Adjoining did hit mirrors. Wheelchair door was a joke, ran over my foot. Breakfast buffet was way overpriced. Bartender didn't have proper ingredients for their specialty drink, salt on rim instead of toasted coconut and wouldn't give me another drink. Starbucks out of 3 regular items for 4 days we were there. No hot water, accept on 2 occasions. Housekeeper left a note stating that we were too messy. Didn't even get a chance to use the pool. The gym was good except no disinfectant wipes, only dry towels.

    Funny that the don’t charge for parking at the airport Marriott and there’s a guard there all night in their car. At NWMC Marriott is $10 and no guard that I could see. For the $10 you get a tag to hang from your mirror and that requires an additional trip back out to your vehicle. The hotel looks like a WWII bunker from the outside but it’s fixed up pretty well inside. Rooms were pretty small but clean and nicely appointed. The price was really good for San Antonio considering it’s a Marriott so need to keep that in mind. Breakfast ordering needs help. I put out my menu on the doorknob and it was taken but nothing arrived at the desired time. All I ordered was coffee so I just made the coffee in the room.

    Could not wash clothes in the washer and dryer within adamant time due to their only being one washer and dryer for the entire 11 floors of rooms. AC was broken when we arrived, maintenance fixed it and it broke again. Called maintenance again but nobody showed up. Called again and they came and fixed it but it did not work again. They finally moved us into a new room at 7am. I made them give me late checkout due to the hours of sleep that I lost being uncomfortable in the heat. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the showers were empty. They charge to self park your car but the parking lot is not gated and does not have security.

    Staff was very attentive to our concerns and needs. The thermostat didn’t work properly and had to change rooms. The key didn’t allow access so back to the front desk. The key never allowed us to a special location for the free breakfast, so once again to the front office to let us in. The room was nice but the little things added up to a “not going back there!”

    Check in was easy and staff was super friendly. Location to medical center was a quick drive.     I won’t ever stay here again. We were robbed literally! Our truck was broken into, the window was bashed in, they went through literally everything. While waiting for the police to get there I asked the front desk if they could provide footage of the robbery. The front desk girls were completely and utterly rude and very inconsiderate to our situation acted like it was an inconvenience I asked for help and the footage. Overall yes it’s a nice place but if you have crappy staff it makes the stay crappy too.

    I had an air conditioner that sound like a jet engine and keep up all night. I complained to management at check out and they refused to do anything for us.     We always enjoy staying here. We have stayed here for a couple of reasons. One it is convenient to our daughters University and we enjoy the outdoor pool. The one thing that was upsetting was that the coffee Starbucks was not open until 12 as posted. One night the fire alarm woke us up and that was inconvenient as we had to get up out of our bed and wait to re-enter.

    The stay was so horrible ac didn’t work after midnight. Room was so hot. So we diced to leave next morning. Front desk lady was rude and said she couldn’t do nothing about because my booking was trough Expedia. And she said I will get charged for another night. It was a mess. , I had never experienced something like that

    The only drawback for me was the location is right at the intersection of Interstate 10 and loop 410. All of the roads you have access to are freeway access roads and there isn't really anything else around. Had to drive to grab some quick food. Location might be good for a traveler on a long trip along I-10 I suppose. Despite being that close to the freeways, I didn't hear road noise much and not at all after I fell asleep.

    Apparently they allow dogs. If so, I think they should really pay better attention to their cleaning. My room (701) had dog hair all over! All over the carpet, all over the couch, all over the furniture surrounding the bed! It was disgusting! Never staying there again!

    The hotel is clean and tidy, but food service at the restaurant is not the best in terms of wait time and no free breakfast option is available. Marriott used to have extensive breakfast options that were included in room prices, I would suggest increasing the room price to include breakfast.

    Nice overall in a convenient area for medical center. Welcoming and attractive interior. Clean. Some hotels have stopped servicing rooms daily and I am glad you still do! Beds were comfy. Downside - AC was loud and hard to get on a comfortable temp consistently. Pool was a little cloudy - but upside you offered floating mats.

    Only stayed 1 night so I don’t have any comments about food because my daughter and I didn’t eat there. My only complaint about the stay is that we booked a handicapped room on line and when we checked in were not given a room for handicap conditions I need im the bathroom. I believe the girl who checked us in said she was new so I understand the mistake . I was just frustrated because I was tired.

    Carpets feel dirty, but other than that the rooms were really nice and the bed was made very nicely whenever I came back to my room. Towels were also replaced and trash was taken out. Pool was very nice!! The water was a little bit dirty and the floor on the outside of the pool was dirty too, they also need to take down the old wasp nests above the pool. No wasps from what I saw, but there was a bunch of wasp nests.

    Despite paying for this reservation many weeks in advance, I arrived and was informed that the hotel was fully booked and I’d have to uber back across town to another property. This cost me an hour and $50 in rides in the middle of the night after a long day of travel.

    This was not my first time staying at this Marriott location but it will definitely be my last. The room was very disappointing to say the least. The sheets had lipstick, the towels were dirty & they charge for Wi-Fi now?! I also asked for a late check out which is maybe an hour or 2 complimentary but now they charge for that too! Water is $6 a bottle so make sure to not drink if you’re thirsty! Unbelievable!

    Would be great for maybe one night. Something quick. We stayed for 3 nights and it got kind of annoying.     All staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. There was a great guy in the M Club (red shirt, early 20s, first name started with A, I think? Maybe Andrew? Sorry, left my glasses upstairs!) who went above and beyond to find what I needed this morning. Later I saw him out by the elevators doing the same for someone else. M Club is open and serving food every single day 5-7, and also dessert 7-9, which makes it stand out among all US Marriott properties for club/concierge level experiences.

    Honestly had an absolutely horrible time, i had to catch a flight at 5am and did not get an ounce of sleep because the AC was so ridiculously loud which usually wouldnt be a problem but it turned on and off every 20 seconds it was so annoying i wanted to cry and then whenever the ac did turn off, our rooms window looked out to the lobby so all we heard was the loud ass lobby music. would not stay here again very disappointing i usually love marriot hotels

    Down sides for us. There was no microwave in our room and I was told there would be, and the ice is not on every floor. It’s kept on one floor. Other than that it is well kept/clean, bed was comfortable and my room stayed cool… I can’t sleep in a hot room so this was was a major plus! Over all it was a nice stay. I would stay again and recommend

    The staff were very friendly and quick to accommodate any need. On the other hand, I had to switch rooms because they gave me one with broken AC, the fridge did not work and some of the other amenities were either broken or outdated. Not a bad place to stay for a few nights but kind of expected the overall building to be a little more up to date considering the Marriott chain. I wish the place matched the energy the hotel staff gave cuz they were 5/5 stars!!!

    Staff was great before and during our stay. Let us drop our luggage off early for free (instead of leaving in our 100 degrees car in the six flags parking lot). When we checked in around 5:30 pm there were maybe 6 other parties checking in and the staff handled us quickly and were friendly even under stress. Room was standard: clean, small, quiet, single bed, newly remodeled it appeared, clean bathroom. Only complaint is there was no clean, filtered water machine available to fill up our water bottles. We got 2 small complementary bottles but nothing else. Staff offered to fill our reusable water bottles but there should really just be a self serve water station with clean drinking water.
