Studio 6 Extended Stay - San Antonio, TX - Medical Center

We left two days early, the mattress were razor thin, it was like a cot or futon mattress. There were cockroaches and the floors were filthy.

No elevators. Im disabled. Barely made it up the stairs. Got to the room an it was very dirty. Floor looked like it hadn't been swept in a month. The mattress and blanket was extremely stained. I couldn't stay in that. Im immune compromised and cant be in something that dirty. Was supposed to get a refund because stairs are to difficult. Im still waiting for my refund.

This is a very nice place to stay. It’s very quiet and peaceful no problems no roaches great staff and very helpful.

I really like it here at this location. Office Staff is always friendly and helpful and the maintenance man helped out very quickly to get things fixed or replaced. It’s very quiet and no drama outside like other motel 6/studio 6 location's I’ve stayed at. It’s also very close to many restaurants and close access to the freeway and all of medical center. The room rate is very affordable as well. I also love the fact that if you reserve the 2 queen bed suite you get a whole separate bedroom and separate bathroom for each with a little double door in between to close for separate privacy. The little kitchenette also has full size refrigerator and microwave, a sink and lots of pantry space and a mini stovetop with 2 burners. I would choose to stay here over and over. :) and a great plus ….the TV has NBC so I could watch my Spurs during the playoffs. ❤️. Awesome awesome. Keep up the good work Pasteur court location. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great and convenient for hospital patients

I love that it’s convenient because it’s so close to hospital and all convenient stores. The best thing I love is that this place has a kitchen and big refrigerator toaster coffee maker and microwave oven. It saves us from spending on fast foods. Francisco from front desk was very helpful and polite when we asked for another control for TV and exchange linen.

This place is a dump , I’m the first to find the good in everything , but , I left the minute I looked in this room , I pray I get my money back . I did not stay 2 minutes in this area .

It was closer to the hospital I had to go to in the morning. Literally walking distance. I actually went to walmart to buy a pillow to use. This was possibly the dirtiest hotel I've stayed in! I actually didn't even shower I think I was cleaner than the tub! See pics.

It was really relaxing during my stay at studio 6. I had no issues. The staff is great. It’s very quiet in the area. I didn’t know I was gonna extend my stay it was last minute but the staff was great I was able to pay online no hassles and pick up a new key when I got off of work. That made things even more convenient for me.

Air conditioner takes a while to cool down the room. Room didn’t come with microwave or coffee maker. Thought that’s what I read came with room. Having to go to office for clean towels and toilet paper. Besides that it’s been quiet and comfortable.

This hotel needs to closed down ! Unsafe and dirty . It doesn’t make sense I will need book again

The first room we got , was steaming hot and reeked of cigarette smoke and mildew. The sheets had stains. We didn't touch a thing & asked for a new room. We didn't feel safe, as several people tried approaching is in the parking lot at the next room, strangers hollering at us in the dark parking lot. Not well lit. Finally decided we just did not feel safe there. Asked for a refund.

Sheets had stain no blanket or pillow in rm had to go get them, says coffee pot in rm but wasnt one and they didnt have any to give me asked for extra pillows didnt have any, batteries out in remote they did try fix but had to go back after they looked for one to give me.

We got a room in the top area and whole outside of the hallway was super dirty the stairs also, room was decent but restroom area there was a few small roaches, iron did not work and second lock on door did not work either, also a few disputes and people arguing outside in different occasions

I’ve stayed here a couple of times and also it’s sister properties but I love coming this particular studio six. Not only is it clean,quiet, and safe but the management and employees are excellent. Always very cheerful inviting as well as friendly. I also got the opportunity to meet the property manager for the first time, and she was full of life, smiling ear to ear Her personality and her attitude were just the greatest thank you guys

I had to go to the office 3 times to switch my room .and still my microwave didnt work i couldn't heat up any of my food but they said if I complained again the for me just to get a refund and if I did that it would of took 5 business days to get back in to my card and I would of been stuck in the streets. One of the rooms they tried giving me the bath tub was full of dirt.so I just stuck it out and stayed ive stayed here plenty of times and never did i have a bad experience like this one .

The room they gave me looked nothing like the advertised photos. Then on top of that it was dirty, with a dead spider and dirt in the bed. Roaches in the bathtub, and dirt all over the floor. 0/10. Stay far away from this place.

That being said, the condition of the hotel is very disappointing. For a location so close to the hospital, I expected much better. The door locks didn’t feel secure, the rooms looked like they were falling apart, and there were people hanging around outside in a way that made the environment feel uncomfortable and unsafe. I only stayed here because I needed something last-minute near a family member in the hospital, and the location was convenient for that. However, I would not personally choose to stay here again. This place has potential because of its location, but it really needs serious cleaning, repairs, and overall improvements. Again, I truly appreciate the staff—they were the best part of my stay.

Loved that it was close to Methodist hospital amd didnt have to deal with traffic. Room was small and compact but it was great. Didnt have toilet paper in room but i just went out amd bought some. No problem. Though kitchen sink was not working or water was turned off but thats ok too. I would definitely use them again.

We also expected a bigger space for the money paid and the fact that the pictures advertised a bigger looking space for a "deluxe" suite. Fortunately for us we needed the room moreso for our trips to the nearby theme parks and Riverwalk so the fridge keeping our food cold, the table and warm shower were okay enough for us to continue out stay. However we will not be returning to this location since we fully believe that the advertisement did not portray the true dimensions of the "deluxe" rooms and we over paid for a kitchen area that we couldn't use due to the cockroaches.

The bed looked like someone tried to tear their way through the mattress. The sheets were dirty with stains. Beds weren’t made. The coffee pot was still on as if someone still occupied the room.

The wasn't dirty, but it wasn't clean. We had to wait on a room, after we checked in for 2 hours. There were roaches in the room, we contacted the office, managersaid she would take care of it, come to find out it was never done. We bought roach spray & sprayed the roaches ourselves. The location was great, close to the medical center & clinic.

The beds were comfortable but a little low, the only problem my family had was with the showers. We were hoping that the shower would have been a walk in, My handicapped husband and daughter had trouble getting in. It was not safe for my daughter.

This is an older motel, but it was clean and everything worked. You do need to bring your own kitchen/dining items. This is a very good value in a long-stay accommodation, and is very near the medical centers..

It's a wonderful place. I love it. The staff here is wonderful.It's very clean.To keep everything organized and they have security that walks around to make sure nobody messes with anything already in trouble.I recommend whoever comes into town.Or you've been staying in town to spend time here at this hotel

I regret to inform you that I was very disappointed with my experience at your hotel and, unfortunately, I will not be staying for the dates I originally booked. When I arrived, I had difficulty locating the entrance, as the area was poorly lit. While the check-in process itself was pleasant—the staff member who assisted me was very kind—my concerns began shortly afterward. As I made my way to my room, I noticed several men loitering outside, and while going up the stairs I encountered a guest smoking, with a strong odor of marijuana in the air. Upon entering my room, I was immediately met with the smell of smoke. Although the door closed, it did not feel secure, and I was worried it could be easily opened. The curtains were too short to provide proper privacy, allowing visibility into the room from outside. In addition, I could clearly hear noise from the adjoining room, which made the space feel even less private and secure. I had chosen this hotel because my husband is undergoing open-heart surgery, and I needed a safe and quiet place to stay nearby for at least two nights. Unfortunately, due to the conditions I encountered and the lack of safety and comfort, I had no choice but to seek alternative accommodations.

Quiet, comfortable stay, only thing that was a concern was my deadbolt and lock were really loose on my door in room 100.

The lady at the front desk was really great and friendly! The room was OK could use some updating. The location is great with many things within a short distance of the motel. It was in a quiet area and felt safe.

The place itself was a bit dirty but fair for the price to be honest And the only bugs u found were small roaches but like only two nothing like those huge roaches you find in other places

It was ok. The room was still dirty however. We had to mop the floors ourselves.

I was convinced that this property was great due to the close proximity to University Medical Center. Was I mistaken. The room was musty and smelled of smoke and probably fumigation. I noticed the shower was leaking and noticed that with the condensation on floor it was black. Not clean. Small roaches I encountered the next evening. I did not check out sooner due to the gravity of my mother in the hospital. I was financially tied and did not have time to change my occupancy. I just hope that this is resolved for the next tenant. Clearly this was dangerous for any tenant to occupy.

Security guard and on call receptionist were friendly/ welcoming. Patio light didn’t work outside our room and door hinges were loose. Loose to where door was hard to close and open. I requested non smoking and room smelled like a bar, it was late and office was closed making it inconvenient to request a different room.

There was mold spots on the tub. The door's striker plate was very loose.

It just had a smell of damp & the restroom has stains everywhere... not well kept...

We had two different rooms. The first room they put us in had roaches alive and dead. Some were stepped on and not picked up. They moved us to a different room and that room was just very muggy, smelled really old. The beds were uncomfortable.

Your staff was very nice. The non smoking rooms smelt like smoke. Had to go through 2 non smoking rooms to get a room that didn’t smell so bad. The toilet was broke. Had to fill the tank using the coffee pot. You get what you pay for. Don’t trust the photos on the web site.

When I checked in, the room that I got looked occupied when I walked into the room. Got a second room and had a very bad odor and asked for a refund.

This is a very shady, unsafe place to stay. It has all the characteristics of a rundown hotel that rents rooms by the hour or by the week.

Well as they say you get what you pay for. Not safe at all: for one there was mold in the bathroom. Bugs and the room was far from clean. Requested a room with a microwave and no microwave. Drug dealers in the parking lot and god know what else. I couldn't stay there. It not healthy with the black mold.

BTW There was a faint smell of MJ in the restroom and a burn on the toilet lid that looks like they had been smoking something in there. I asked for a non smoking room.

Whether this ‘motel’ was good or not I can not shake the feeling that it is not a safe place to stay. After arriving, we had got our keycard and headed straight to our room which to our surprise was taken by a family with stuff thrown around. When we requested a different room, it was gladly taken up. After getting a new room we discovered that there was roaches everywhere and no power. On top of this, the door barely closed properly. Above all, I would not recommend staying here especially if you have kids or by yourself. Thankfully we were refunded.

The manager is a con artist. He agreed to a15 minute late payment and then proceeded to charge almost $100 in late charges and also moved us into different rooms 3 times that were progressively worse and worse until the last room had no refridgerator or microwave.

The manager is a con artist. Throws in fees, late fees and changes rooms constantly saying your room isn't available any longer. Went from a nice room with a fridge and microwave to a terrible room with nothing. Charged me over $100 in late fees for being 15 minutes late after he already agreed to paying 15 minutes late.

It was a horrible experience staying in this hotel. It was infested with cockroaches and dirty floors when we checked in. I asked other people that were outside if they had cockroaches in their room and they said yes that they were disgusted by this hotel. I have never ever stayed in a hotel with infested with cockroaches before it was very nasty

The room is sold as non smoking and there's even a sign on the door, but it was so bad that i checked out after 4 hrs. Left with the worst headache. Not to mention the roaches.

Too many roaches

The people here are nice and if you don't want housekeeping in ur room then you can get everything from the office to clean it urself. It's nice and quiet and not far from downtown

Check in was the easiest and friendliest i have ever experienced.the room was smaller then expected but clean and homie and other then the couple fighting, the experience was fantastic.

I like it.Its quite everyone is to their selves.Maintance and front desk is awesome.

Room was infested with roaches! The room had a bad odor. My wife was awoken by roaches in her bed. I also found a cricket and a praying mantis in the room. What a terrible night! DO NOT STAY AT THIS MOTEL!

Bathtub was moldy. The tv screen was broken. The beds were comfortable, but the room didn’t feel very clean.

Roaches coved the room and prostitution was all around building.

Front lobby staff was really friendly and assisted me, room was clean

It was okay but the room my brother got had a roach infestation they was literally having a whole meeting in the table.

The room did smell slightly of smoke/something skunky. Some cockroaches in the room- mostly smaller ones- and I did find one in the bed. Overall, the room served its purpose, but it was a little unpleasant.

It was a great room for the price of $63. If I wanted a $200 per night room I would have got one.

Place was not what I expected. It was an overnight stay for work. Restroom door handle was broken, i was scared to get locked in/stuck. Refrigerator never cooled, so i put my drinks in the freezer and fell asleep. Woke up worried, that they may have popped, nope drinks were barely cool. Also saw a couple cockaroaches climbing up the walls. Check in was also at 3pm, when i showed up at 3:20pm they informed me room was not ready and i had to wait till 5pm. Which of course was very inconvenient. I asked for a late checkout but left before it was time, i was grossed out with the bugs. Stair rails to second story room were loose and i scared as i need them for support going up and down stairs. Very disappointed.

The room was infested with roaches I killed atleast 10 before I packed my bag and left. It was beyond disgusting

Well I work in the medical center area so I stayed there about a month it was okay the only bad things are the type of people renting these motels I’m originally from the south side of town so I know the lifestyle and I was able to adapt to my surroundings but from someone who isn’t it could be scary.a week after I left there was an incident that was on the news

Room smelled like a smoking room, it had no smoking on the door. Floor had black spots on it and didn't seem clean. Door to the bathroom had evidence of things being spilled and dripping but not clean. Caulking messxall over the bathroom. Low cheap beds and linens. Only advantage it was near our destination.

Wasn’t clean around property but was very nice inside room and bed was comfy

The chairs were filthy as if they had not be cleaned in years. The sheets were stained and the door had been busted open in the past. The bottom of the door didn't seal properly and allowd bugs inside. The wall had hole and the floor's trim was ripped open. It was overall horrible

Property was good had a few roaches in their room, but other than that, everything was OK
