    My room is as not up to standards. Mold and water damage on the cieling and in the bathroom. It was so dirty! Pillows had stains. Do not trust the brand name here.

    Location was very good easy to move in and out, didn't have breakfast there After I checked out hours later I come to find that my wallet was missing and remembered I had left it in the room I was staying. I called thr hotel and let them know I left my wallet in the room, the front desk staff was very respondent and took quick action to recover my wallet. I was later informed by Mr Austin of the good news they had found it and would hold on to it till I get there, I was very happy and grateful they responded quickly and to informed me, I thank you and the staff for a job well done and for that I'll be using Double Tree Hotel more often, Thank you again your staff earn a gold star.

    The room was clean, the bathroom was outdated and poorly maintained. They listed room service but there was no restaurant room service. We were expecting a movie streaming service but that was not available. The breakfast buffet was ok. When you checkout they try to sign you up for deals. Overall we will not be returning to this location.

    Pros: Cookies are good as always. Good location Cons: Room has thin walls. Room was not cleaned well even after asking twice. They left dirty cups in our room and sheets. The front desk team appeared annoyed everytime we asked for anything. Would not recommend this location

    The staff was excellent, very professional and willing to help. There was a person giving away extra rewards in the lobby. She asked me if I wanted prizes and points, I wasn't sure what they were for as I've never stayed as a Hilton. Her response came across a little snotty to me when she answered. Parking was in a garage and free. Purchased food in the bar attached to the restaurant to take to my room and the bartender had the whole room, but there was someone (possibly a manager?) helping him. Food was good. Pool looked beautiful, but we didn't have a chance to swim. All in all an enjoyable stay and would return if ever in San Antonio again.

    The only thing keeping me from giving a 5 star rating is the parking. We arrived back at the hotel after attending a concert, and there was no parking available. We ended up having to create our own parking spot, hoping my car didn’t get towed.

    This place is severely antiquainted. Can still lightly smell smoke and some of the halls reeked of urine. Too much 80's wallpaper, dark paint and mimimal lighting. The staff was great though.

    Airport shuttle is convenient along with daily parking, shuttle staff can be not friendly at times depends who you get and especially if late night pickup. Check in staff was nice. Room ac made a loud rattle noise all night after a long 14hr travel day, just wanted a wink of good rest and not have to change to another old room. For the high price I will stay at a newer marriott brand for alot lower price and get those points

    The only thing I can say that was stressful was at check in we were required to check in at 4pm we get there and our room was not ready and apparently from what we saw nobody room was available. We didn’t get our room until almost 10pm we had driven in a wanted to rest but we couldn’t we had to take a nap in the car while we waited. We had somewhere to go so we killed time in the meantime thankfully it was ready when we came back to check. That is the only bad thing. But other than that the food there was delicious the staff was nice. We did get accommodated with free breakfast but I feel that isn’t enough

    Close to the airport, shuttles every 15 minutes, good airport parking fees The AC, you could set it for 65 degrees and the AC had a mind of its own, it would start getting cold enough to fall asleep then as soon as it cut off it was hot. Couldn’t sleep worth a shit there. Everything else was 5 star

    When I first got to the room, I noticed that my sheets were stained with blood, and I called down and asked for a new bedsheets to be fixed and I would be gone for hours got back. The room still had blood sheets after calling them again somebody came to change it and then noticed that comforter was stained as well so they changed the whole bedding. Then my second problem encountered the first night was so hot in the room, even though I had it at 60 I felt that the hallways were better place to sleep. It was extremely hot. I called down to the front desk and had them fix it. The second night was decent, but those are two huge problems I encountered at the very beginning.

    When moved to another room, after sleeping in a HOT room the first night, since the night manger didn't respond to me me skittle after an hour of waiting, the new room was clean and comfortable. Night manager Ashley, didn't touch base with me after "sending a tech" for the temp in the room, waited up for an hr of me messaging her multiple times, was not helped until the morning when I went down to front desk

    It was really outdated, the ac took forever to cool the room down it was humid, when it did cool down, it wasn't really all that cold, the place could use some new renovations, other than that the staff was great, the location is a little sketchy.

    Location. Pool size. The room. There was a couple smoking weed at the pool. I have babies so that was annoying. When we got out we decided to go get food. The same people ended up walking after us into the parking lot still smoking weed. So we never escaped it! Very annoying.

    After a very long hard few weeks, the hot tub was so inviting. It was clean, well maintained & deep enough to stand. I’d stay there again just for that, but it was an all around great stay! I feel like the bathroom could use an update but it was by no means ineffective.

    Upon check in at 8pm, clerk continued to ignore me at counter while she laughed with coworker and answered phones. When finally addressed, they couldn’t find my room ready even though I already checked in and selected a room on the app. Clerk didn’t provide breakfast vouchers which we learned about after eating. In the room, the tub was chipped, everything metal had rust, the entire 12th floor smelled of marijuana, and we only had 2 towels for 4 people in a 2 night stay. Parking was not explained and a bit of a nightmare to figure out. Next morning service wasn’t better when I had to show proof of purchase for breakfast even though it was clearly called out in booking. Food was watery eggs, sausage or bacon, cream cheese and no bagels, and some fruit. The bacon was good though. This definitely didn’t check the mark for a Hilton property and as a Hilton Honors member, didn’t get any type of additional perk or acknowledgment. Our friend in another room as a Diamond member had an even worse experience with room quality, parking, service, and honoring what was booked already.

    A couple screamed at each other for several hours even knocking on our door at 2:00 in the morning. I did. It open our door because of the time of night…..not saying this was the hotels fault but I would think someone would monitor the floors at least a little.

    Couldn’t check in until 3 hours passed check in time because no rooms available. When we did the towels were still wet. Don’t know if having a staff problem or a management problem but was very disappointed. I have stayed here before but it has really gone down.     Nice hotel, but outdated. None of the outlets or usb plugs on the desk or bedside tablets worked, the tub was peeling and the baseboards are coming off or feeling. For the size of the hotel, the gym is small and some of the treadmills were not functioning.

    Upon arrival as we entered the area around our room on twelfth floor we could smell a strong odor of cigarettes so we reported this with the manager on duty. She confirmed that management had an investigation prior to our arrival of renter smoking in his room. Later in the evening the people right next door to our room 1212 started blasting a stereo causing several rooms to bang on the ceilings and walls. The music would stop for a few minutes but would start up again throughout the night till 2 am. We couldn’t rest in comfort all night till morning where it started again. Management claimed they made contact with the room but it would just continue. We were tired all day for lack of sleep the next day at a grandsons party we arranged. I spoke with Lexi on our second day and upon discharging on Sunday morning. The Saturday evening was much better but only because the tenants had checked out Saturday morning. We understand that it is difficult to control the behavior of those whom stay at a hotel but we were caught off guard by the first nights stay. I asked Lexi if possible we could be refunded for one of two nights stay and thus this report was requested by her. This was the worst experience we have ever dealt with by far not to mention that the grounds outside were covered in trash and stayed in this condition both days. As Hilton Honors members, we would expect more.

    Check in was a problem- guy was disrespectful, say he couldn't find my reservation, I had came earlier a woman said my room wasn't ready come back at 3, she was nice . When I return the guy say I didn't have a reservation... he had racial overtone, I showed him my reservation on phone he was still nasty .     This property is just “meh.” My room was nice and the maid service was great. Front desk service needed some work. Breakfast buffet was underwhelming. I guess I just expected more from a Doubletree hotel. If this were a Comfort Inn or La Quinta, it’d be fine. Free parking was a great bonus.

    Staff was not very helpful at check in despite requesting early check in at time of reservation. Calling at 12pm to confirm if room was available early, calling at 2pm to confirm if room available early again. Showing up at 3:45pm and room was not available still. Asked to switch to any other room and they had no rooms cleaned. There was no effort done to try to accommodate my request at any point during any of my calls or check in. The icing on the cake was seeing other people check in early the next couple of days. Overall the hotel was centrally located amd close enough to airport for convenience. Its a shame the staff made this one of my worst stays at any hotel.

    The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. But we had to leave early due to the rooms ac being messed up. We adjusted to temperature accordingly, but we were still waking up in sweat. Also, our mini fridge didn’t seem to be cooling all too well, we adjusted the temp on there as well and everything still felt room temp. We let the front desk know and they offered to change rooms but my husband was already irate with the temperature situation and wanted to just leave. Had the ac and fridge been working well, we would’ve given it 5 stars.

    Only real issue was being woken up at about 3AM to a neighboring building’s trespassing alarm, which was very audible through the walls for about 40 minutes. Everything else was pretty nice, friendly staff, what you’d expect. Except for that alarm, that was not nice.

    My restroom fan didn’t work. It was like a sauna while trying to get ready for the day… hard to do when you’re sweating! I reported to front desk said someone would come fix. That didn’t happen. The next morning I went down again & they put the request on a note sheet. Bathrooms are the most used part of a room… it was never fixed.

    This hotel was horrible. The staff was not concerned about the guest at all. My friend and I decided to use the hotel shuttle before booking We asked about two different restaurants and taking a shuttle to riverwalk. We were informed the shuttle ran every 30 mins no problem. Upon booking and paying for my room there was also not a mention of a room deposit. After we checked in we were informed the shuttle ran every 15 mins but only in a 2 mile radius. After being highly disappointed that we could not shuttle downtown we decided to go to eat across the street the gentlemen behind the desk told us there was a roadhouse restraunt but it was not it was a longhorn. Prior to finishing dinner we called for the shuttle and for two hours the shuttle never came. We were left at the shopping center after everything had closed down by ourselves. Over 60 years old and just left in a strange town st a shopping center we called 4 or 5 times to find out where shuttle was and whomever that girl was kept saying B or V 6 I told you ..when I finally got her to tell me what that was it was the location at the airport to meet out shuttle. We were not at the airport we explained and the lady at the desk says then you told us wrong he's busy and he will get you when he can. That was 1 45 mins after dinner and 45 mins into the shopping center being closed. The shuttle never came for us and we ended up walking 2 Miles after 1am. Said free breakfast that was a lie

    my sister and I were in town due to the death of a family member. This was not a pleasure trip. The refrigerator in the room did not work and even after it was replaced did not keep things very cold. You could tell the hotel was dated, which did not really bother me. But older hotels if properly maintained can be a jewel.
