Staff at front desk varied from nice to snarky. My Doctor cancelled my surgery for medical reasons & ordered me back in 2 weeks. No refunds or credits at given or allowed. Think carefully about this if booking this property! I’ll never use Expedia again for flights or hotels, never.

Hallway was musty. Location was great for access to Mayo and a walking trail close by.
-
Everything was good. The only issue was the hot tub not in service.

Second stay at this hotel. Very economical for the budget minded. Had all the amenities. A nice comfortable bed and stay. Was so convenient to Mayo Clinic and restaurants, Highly recommended! Even has a local shuttle, an on site Famous Daves BBQ restaurant, and a relief area for pets. Is quiet and has plenty of close secure parking. Is an older location, but not missing a thing. Staff is helpful and very courteous. Is a terrific gem with really spacious rooms.

The price was lower than other hotels and they had bus service to and from Mayo clinic We had a room that had a toilet seat not bolted down securely. Just one bolt, not two. I told the person at the front desk but they just jotted the complaint down but nothing was done . Also, there were some seedy people hanging around

Exceptional

Desk clerk did not greet us and was indifferent with our disappointment that the room we reserved months in advance was occupied. No information was given about breakfast, hot tub being out of order or location of the elevators. Just a shrug and " down that way". Toilet was installed on an angle from the wall, paper holder was installed crooked , mold on floor tiles and safety grip was installed on the wrong side of the shower that would only help you step out of the shower and onto the toilet. This was a return trip but will NOT be returning.

Room smelled Outside needs a lot of work (weeds, parking lot) Breakfast - not a lot options (pancake and waffle machine didnt work)

The pool was really dirty. On the side of the side of the pool, you could see people scratching their initials in it through the scum. I was on the first floor and the carpet was damp because of all the condensation while it was really warm or it was leaking or something. The beds weren’t comfortable. The breakfast waffle maker did not work. Although it was not ideal for the cost, I guess you get what you pay for.

The breakfast was limited as the pancake maker didn't have any batter to make pancakes for most of our stay.

Everything was good

Comfortable bed, clean room, hot breakfast.

Clean room, loved the oatmeal. Most breakfast items not available on Thursday. I did miss an exhaust fan in the bathroom to vent the steam.... also the lighting was not very good for reading and needlework. Shuttle handy for getting to Mayo!

Pics of king room are not accurate. Furniture is missing and what is there is well worn. 32” TV was nice except cable was blurry. No premium channels, just local and basic Spectrum offerings. Bathroom signs encourage guests to reuse towels and conserve water and electricity. Bed was ok. Wear shoes as all floors are sticky. Pool is very cold and water is dingy. Hot tub in spa area is broken per closed sign. Checked out first thing so for did not use Mayo shuttle or try breakfast.

Very little out for breakfast and towels very small. Computer system was down when we arrived so had to wait.

Older property, but well maintained. Had all the amenities one needs. Executive room was nice and spacious, with comfortable beds. Ideal for location and proximity to the Mayo Clinic, dining, and supplies. Economical for a more budget friendly stay. Planning a return trip in a week, and will gladly stay here again. Did not try the breakfast this trip, but had ample space and appeared to be nice set up for a breakfast offering. Breakfast is also served late into the am, which is ideal for many travelers. Famous Daves BBQ restaurant is attached, with discount offered. There was plenty of what seemed secure parking around the building. And there was a grassy area for pets to use, to relieve themselves. Would highly recommend, for budget minded travelers. Also had a pool for families. Didn’t go looking for, or take advantage of that.

After driving almost 9 hours we checked into our room and it was filthy with no clean towels or toiletries, dirty bathroom, dirty floors, garbage left in garbage cans and dirty bedding left on beds. The room was not ready by time of check in which was way past 7:00 PM. After checking into a different room, it was very muggy, not clean feeling, the toiletry folder was broken and the bathtub/shower area was disgusting. There was no continental breakfast to be offered even though it was included in the price of the hotel room (other than a plain bagel and an apple) no juice, coffee, milk, self served waffles and pancakes, cereal and such was offered or available as they claim the food truck did not come in and staff called in sick.
