Staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. That made all the difference for us since we were commuting to/from Mayo Clinic. The free breakfast was decent, but lacked variety, wearing thin during our 1 week stay. Trash was not emptied nearly often enough from the small bins near the elevators. Also the outlets seemed to be nonstandard. It was hard to get a standard hair dryer to stay plugged in due to this issue. Parking onsite was OK, buy maneuvering in the tight spaces was dicey at times. It would be nice it the bar were open more hours and offered more food options. Still the friendly staff made up for these shortcomings.

We stay at the Hyatt House Rochester twice a year. Always very accommodating, particularly with our dog. Very dog friendly. Very nice staff.

Excellent stay overall. Breakfast was always great. Front desk staff amazingly helpful. Our only concern was housekeeping was a little disappointing. We had to request clean towels after day 3 and then requested a trash pickup and clean towels again on day 7. We were told there would be a “complete refresh” on day 7, but only had clean towels dropped off.

Room was clean. Nothing special but it was a good price. Pool is more of a wading pool than anything. Parking is a joke. Not enough spots for everyone to park and people park in non-parking areas and block entrances but nothing is done. Street parking is available but it is not a safe area. I didn’t like leaving my car on the road. Lots of cops and drugs in the area. Breakfast is good, if you get there early enough that there is still food left.

I used to like this property a lot when visiting Mayo - the parking is helpful. The unbelievably rude staff member, broken bathroom sink, horrible lack of cleanliness of the room, the sheer noise and extreme number of pets. There is pet friendly and then there is human friendly. For humans who are seeking medical treatment, seek accommodation elsewhere.

Easy parking Rude staff, dirty rooms, loud, this place has gone down hill. Do NOT recommend for Mayo patients

Breakfast was fine.

Tv didn’t work when I got to room. I couldn’t call downstairs cuz the phone also didn’t work. They never came the next day to clean my room or freshen it up. They didn’t tell me of anything they offered like breakfast, cocktails, where the ice maker was or anything. They need to do a better job of informing their customers.

Beware that parking is nonexistent. The parking ramp is a free for all and people were parking anywhere they could. Would have found an under ground hotel parking if I would have known. All other amenities were great.

Great location, a few minutes walk to the civic center. Plenty of good food options around the area. The staff is friendly and helpful, rooms and commons are clean, loved the breakfast menu.

Room and lobby were very nice! Very safe and convenient to the Civic Center. A little noisy at night, police cars. Breakfast was OK-dry scramble eggs and some type of cheap sausage. Coffee was good!

It is a great hotel. The facilities are new-looking, and the EV charging is free. plentiful and handy, and the breakfast has many options -- including for vegans. We did have a closet door falling off, and there were no signs explaining how to lower the blinds (it was an unlabled walls switch far from the blinds). I would suggest signage on that.

Great stay! The hotel is very clean. The 2 Queen Suite has a kitchen and sitting area. Views across the adjacent park are welcome. Highly recommended.
