Regency Park Hotel

The WiFi didn’t work in the room, the bed didn’t have a fitted sheet, the towels smelled terrible even after getting new ones, the booking system said they would have parking included - but they did not. The outlet kept doing humming noises every time we turned the light on.

Great location and breakfast was phenomenal Room was dark

Breakfast was perfect, stuff are very helpfull some constructions over one elevator was do my staying but nothing that was interferes my staying

Building having remodeling construction works, elevator not working at times

Location They didn’t tell us will work on the elevator, it was so crowded, the room was dirty and the ventilation in the restrooms was not working, and u can here everything between the rooms, the hotel is very old

Regency staff was very helpful to us and the location was excellent Unfortunately they are going through some type of remodeling and that may represent a problem to some customers.

I would rightly recommend this place. I’m getting married in Rio next year and we are already telling our guests to stay with you guys Breakfast was amazing.

The rooms were renovated and very comfy and clean. The breakfast was excelllent. The hotel is only one block away from the beach and has many restaurants nearby. While we stayed, they were doing some refurbishing in other floors so there was some noise early in the morning and dust. Other than that the hotel was great

Location They said they upgraded our stay but they gave same kinda room but moved us to top floor where they are doing construction. I don’t mind moving if they ask but lying about upgrading and sent to newly constructed floor where I had to carry the luggage for 1 floor along with all the noise and smell Also there is no parking which is major inconvenience But overall it was a good stay

The staff were friendly and helpful! The room hasn’t been deep cleaned in ever, it was so disgusting. I didn’t even want to shower. Room photos are not as advertised (king with balcony). Also the noise from the road is awful! Couldn’t sleep it was so loud through the night.

Excelent location and great service from the staff in reception. The woman who cleaned the room did a terrible job and didn't clean the bathroom.

Close to the beach. Nice security guard. Homeless everywhere, rooms don’t look like advertised, key card gets jammed in door, housekeeping stole our phone charger, breakfast is minimal, overpriced, elevator is slow/broken, doing construction, rip tourists off.

Old run down rooms, very badic

Not much but at least we had a roof over our heads. We chose originally the Regency Leme, arriving there, power and water were missing for 2 days so the transferred us to Regency Copacabana, to a very small, one window room that opened to a ventilation shaft smelling fried food. Copacabana is old, dirty, bad food (I got food poisoning), not safe.

The bathroom condition. Inapropriate.

Centrally located. The location was noisy. The cleaners didn’t have a mop and they had to clean with a rag and a stick.

Staff were fun, friendly, and generous. Location is amazing. Room (we had a room with three beds) were spacious. Updates are clearly being made at the hotel. Happy there was no carpet in the room! Had a secured safe in the room. While updates are being made, there were some lacking features. Linens, while clean, seemed a bit "old" as were the mattresses (but still comfortable). The room could have been cleaner (under beds especially). While no carpet was a plus, the floor seems to need to be replaced soon. No coffee machine or hot water heater in the room - this is a big miss.
