As for the downsides, the humidity in the room felt a bit heavy at times. The bathroom was functional and everything worked properly, but it definitely needed some refurbishment and felt outdated. The same applied to the rooms overall — they could use some updating, although they were still comfortable enough for our stay. We also had some issues with the TV entertainment system, as streaming services never seemed to load properly. Since we were not in the room very much, it was not a major issue for us, and we did not mention it to the front desk. I believe they probably would have tried to fix it if we had reported it. The mountain view was not as impressive as expected because the hotel is mostly surrounded by buildings and houses. Overall, though, it was not a bad experience.

Very old hotel , super basic breakfast. Low value for money

It is very dated and was extremely expensive

The sheet were too small and not fitted. Because of that, as soon as you toss and turn a little in bed, the mattress became bare. I really hated that.

The location was good The pool was not good and overall facility did not match the price paid

Stores close by There were a couple of days where the room was not cleaned, towels were not changed. Those towels look like they have been in the hotel since the hotel opened up and towels have never been changed. Towels were dirty and I could almost look through them. Several days I had to go back to the front desk to request a new key because they would block the ones I had. Always the same breakfast. The scrambled eggs were super nasty, super wet ?

No towels were left after cleaning the room. The sink was clogged

Location Facilities

The location was close to copacabana beach. Most of the staff is actually very friendly, with one exception. One bearded bald seemingly glorified bouncer who worked the front desk thought it was appropriate to yell at us on multiple occasions. He was not hospitable at all. It was extremely rude and uncalled for. He also failed to understand the situation at one juncture and had to have it explained to him by another hotel manager. This hotel also failed to explain extra costs involved with having another person stay with you, which we thought was handled at the beginning of the stay, but they failed to communicate that it wasn't. Also the towels were paper thin, the air conditioning dripped all of my nightstand, and housekeeping didn't sweep up sand.

Everything was basic, but it was good enough. Beds were super comfortable. Showers were great. Everything seemed a little tired, a little well-used.

localization service damp, moldy room, with peeling walls, lack of cleaning in the bathroom, they didn't clean the room properly (there were belongings of another guest underneath on the desk). wifi network didn't connect. breakfast without variety and reheated coffee
