Hotel Nacional Inn Rio Copacabana

Breakfast was great. Staff is lovely. Location is the best A/C doesn´t work propertly and it is a key point in a hotel the bed/mattress wasn´t the best either

This Hotel seems to be a little on the upscale side. The little amenities in the bathroom were nice. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. They’re lights on either side of the bed. The AC works great. They have several elevators which comes in handy managing luggage upstairs. I didn’t get to take advantage of other breakfast so I can’t comment on that.. They have Coffee available 24 hours in the lobby but again I did not try that. The bathroom seem to be well outfitted and large. I actually stayed in an AIRBNB across the street for four days and had to finish my fifth day at the hotel for a few hours before I caught my Flight. But I liked the location with all of the Restaurants nearby along with some supermarkets within a few blocks away. The lobby has some nice seating if you have to sit and wait for an uber . In my few HOURS there I thought it was quite nice. There was some noise coming from the room above me, like chairs moving around and some sounds coming from the hallway outside my door. Nothing extreme

Great location as it is close to the beach and also 5 minutes walk to the metro station. Room spacious and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was great, with many options and good quality. Staff also very supportive. They allowed us to leave luggage there even before our check in.

Facility was below expectations I got stuck in the elevator for 37 minutes, have issues to open my room door to get in and the water in the sink didn't run fluently it was plugged

We like the location, 5 mins walk to the beach, close to restaurants. Not too far from Sugarloaf Mountain Cable Car, and Christ the Redeemer, also not too far to Tijuca National Park. The hotel is kind of old.

Small rooms just really basic they need some upgrade was expecting more The area is very popular very noisy. The electricity went out one night kind of ruined my next day looking into a discount or smelling. They were using candles in the stairs hallway not safe they must be used to that in Rio

Great location - friendly staff and excellent breakfast . Only two blocks from the beach

The location area is perfect close to Copacabana beach and less homelesses around. There are many good restaurant shop around. The room was clean eventhough it was too old. We got in the room and looked at each other with my boyfriend. The building is too old, furnuture too. It was too small and kinda felt in jail. Breakfast was poor mainly sweet. I do not think it is good value for money we were not happy about our stay, you need to check facility’s photos properly. It was on the crowdy street at night there were noise although we were on the 8th floor. And some hours mainly late evening some food smell came out and we even could not open the window because of mosquitos.

We really enjoyed the balcony and the ability to appreciate the outdoor space and climate while in our room. The breakfast was a bit poorly configured, a lot of cake options and not as much breakfast options.

Breakfast was always the same. It could have been better and bathrooms do need some remodeling

clean, location, breakfast ok Curtains that you can’t fully close because there’s an AC unit behind them, dripping faucets, a damn humming fridge from the last century — and to turn it off you'd basically have to dismantle the whole hotel. It’s not even stocked with bottled water, so why is it there in the first place? Now it’s $100 a night for a room with no drinking water, no kettle, and if you want hot water — go down to the first floor. Oh wait, you can’t, because the hotel has two tiny elevators for 13 floors and around a hundred rooms. Alright then, just call reception and wait 30 minutes while the kettle invents boiling water. Also, I didn’t manage to use the sauna in two days. On the first day, they said it was cleaning day and closed it early. On the second day, it just wasn’t working during the day either.

A good location in Copacabana. Good Breakfast. Can be noisy and the rooms are small and need updating. Expensive for what it offers.

Great location 3 blocks from Copacabana Beach. Friendly staff, very good breakfast with many choices, comfortable bed, powerful shower Outside party on first night but fortunately quiet on other nights. Only a minor inconvenience

Very clean, great location, friendly helpful staff and good breakfast. Roof top pool was lovely to relax by. Room was compact but with good shower and air conditioning and a fridge.

Well the location is fantastic. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleaned everyday which is great. The lift works. The area is safe. The breakfast is OK. The hotel is OK but I was disappointed that it clearly needs a revamp.
