I loved the location across from Flamengo Beach and the parks and it felt pretty central to go to other parts of Rio by uber. The staff was nice, breakfast was good and it was comfortable. There wasn’t much light in my room.

Location is 6 minute walk from metro line; breakfast has lots of fruits, and breakfast staff is efficient and friendly. Lots of mold and mildew in bathroom shower; toilet got clogged on the day before checkout date and maintenance didn’t show up to fix it after reporting it twice.

The only good thing I can mention is the breakfast. Has a plenty of variety like green juice, is the first hotel that I visited that has green juice. The room had spider webs in the walls, in the bathroom. That is no good at all when you are afraid of spiders. The floor of the bath tub was slobbery you can feel something strange in you feet. That means they didn’t clean the room properly. The personal in the reception is not very friendly and they don’t spike English. I understand the a get what a pay for but at least have a clean room.

Close to Flamengo Beach in good area. Also handy for airport. Good buffet breakfast with lots of choice. Helpful staff. Beds are clean and very comfortable. Has a gym, which we didn't use. Secure left luggage room. Hotel seems to have seen better days. One of the two lifts was out for the whole stay. I would say they did not have enough capacity for such a large hotel. Our room was not as spacious as expected for a large hotel like this. The worst thing was the noise from surrounding rooms and outside in a busy neighbourhood. One of the single glazed windows would not close properly. The extractor fan in the bathroom did not work.
