Okay so the location really is unbeatable and the staff are all amazing and helpful. Gero restaurant was very good as well. To be honest, it's just not entirely worth the price. Rooms are SMALL and while the beach provides towels / chairs / umbrellas, for over a grand a night, I want to be able to order food and drinks from the beach with a little bit more luxury. I also had to pay to rent a bike...like girl, are you kidding?

Room with worn and scratched floor; pillows with a bad smell; poorly done room cleaning, clearly only the bed sheets were straightened without any concern for cleaning; problem with the hot water in the shower for consecutive hours. Morning breakfast overly charged for what's served.

The location is unbeatable and the rooftop has a amazing view. The hotel is quite disappointing. Very low ceiling, very dark, tiny elevators. There was some mold growing on the ceiling in the shower and behind the faucet. The housekeeping cart was left right in front of our room. Breakfast closing at 10:50AM when it is supposed to be 11AM. The front desk staff were very nice, friendly with perfect english, but i was surprised with the inability to speak few words of english for the rest of the staff. I would not recommend.

I really liked the interior of the hotel and the room with classic design pieces and Brazilian aesthetic. Also the sea/beach view from the room and the terrace are perfect to enjoy the vibe of the city. Impeccable room and laundry service and very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet is good but I think could be improved. I personally like a good breakfast a la cart with wide choice when on holiday.

Great location on Ipanema. Congenial staff who went above and beyond to ensure satisfaction. Our neighbor kept playing very loud music in the middle of the night, and hotel mgmt came twice to resolve. For our inconvenience, hotel offered two complimentary massages. Hotel restaurant had excellent food and service.

The location, the willingness of the staff to take care of everything you could think of , the facilities were delightful Certainly one of the finest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The service was absolutely spectacular and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and actually all I wanna do is come back.
