The hotel is located in the perfect area of the city. Everything was completed by the wonderful breakfast.

Great location between Copacabana and Ipanema
-
The cleanliness was excellent, everything was always very well maintained. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful at all times, which made the stay even better. The location is amazing, perfectly situated between Copacabana and Ipanema, making it very easy to access both beaches. The breakfast was good overall, with enough options to start the day. The only downside was that the beds felt a bit old, especially the mattress, which could be improved for more comfort.

Location

Our double room was fine, but on the small side. We had to request extra blankets, but staff was very accommodating.

One detail is that the shower door did not close properly, which caused a small leak during the night. The breakfast is excellent—truly outstanding and one of the highlights of the stay. Another observation is that the air conditioners are quite noisy. Finally, the night staff was not very helpful when assisting us with arranging taxis, especially considering that we were five guests.

Location is between Copacabana (to the left) and Ipanema (to the right) — basically behind Arpoador Rock … about 1 1/2 blocks then 1-2 blocks (depending on direction) to reach the beach entrance path. Lots of shops and eateries in the area, a grocery store 2 1/2 blocks up (away from beach). Breakfast was basic but good, cereals, juices, yogurt, cold cuts, eggs (scrambled and boiled), sausage. Bread, cake! and pastries with jam, coffee, tea, cocoa, and a fruit (usually banana/grapes, and melon (papaya, watermelon, canary). David at the front desk was phenomenally helpful to orient us to the area and activity options/tips. Nice supply of hot water! Refrigerator and free wi-fi (that didn’t turn off … just logged in the one time and it kept working for the entire stay. Netflix available on tv (need own log in). Air conditioning. Little couch and armchair (not able to sleep on) table, with two chairs and end tables. The room (903) was oddly shaped with a large entrance hall(1/4 of the entire sq footage) that was unusable space basically (you turn the corner into the bed area — so what is this big “room” for? They had the table, chairs and couch there but you would be sitting in an empty hall — we moved the table into the bed space so you could work or whatever where the tv and windows were). I peeped into other rooms and they didn’t have that odd division of the space. Nothing was a deal breaker for us but… No dressers at all but a typical wardrobe with a shelf and hanging space and large area to set bags that we usedas a (dresser). End tables also had no drawer. No tub but this might be common nowadays. No real “view” from our room, just the buildings across the street. Tv was rather small maybe 32 in? Never fully figured out the two remotes — one to operate tv, other to operate cable box (just audio, no local video) — once we navigated to Netflix we didn’t care. On our last day the local channels just “appeared” — who knows. No way that I could figure out to reach the rooftop pool and gym area without talking stairs for the last 1-2 flights. Can be a little noisy at night — sounds of the city, fireworks? but we enjoyed this.

Very bad!!!!! The cheese was overdue. The scrambled eggs were cold and have a strange color. Look like they add more white than a complete egg. The fruits also were over due. The sausages were cold Everything was bad!!! When I complained, the waitress argued with me in a very rude manner!

Location was excellent! Close to copa and ipanema by walking and uber. Breakfast was good and staff was polite. Price was great for the location as well. Rooftop view was beautiful. The furniture/mattress/bedding need to be updated. It was obvious by the grainy texture they were old and not so comfy. And the wifi was weak/slow at times. If these two things were updated, I would give a perfect score!

Great location. Good value for money. As long the price is adjusted, it’s not really a problem, but have in mind, it was like a premium hotel 2-3 decades ago (or more), but you definitely see the aging everywhere around the hotel. The stuff was OK, but sometimes not in the best mood.

Great stay! Such friendly staff, very clean hotel and facilities. Could not have asked for a better location!

The location is amazing: within walking distance of the beach, gym, restaurants, and a subway station. The room was spacious enough for two people (we had a twin room, which came with two queen size beds). I would stay here again based on the location alone. I'm splitting hairs here, but the breakfast items did not change during my stay, so I got bored pretty quickly. A wider variety would have been appreciated.

Breakfast was good: nice variety of fruit, breads, and jams. Coffee was OK but the juices were excellent. The breakfast staff did a very good job of restocking wouldn’t necessary the hotel staff kept answering our questions regarding directions and time. The bed seemed a little crowded in the room. However, the bathroom was a nice size and a shower worked really well.

Breakfast was just ok but the staff at breakfast were horrible they were not welcoming nor friendly at all
-
Lovely location close to restaurants and a quiet area. Bed was great. Clean bathroom and great shower. Close to the airport. Pool is small but good for cool off dip. Nothing

The property is very well located and has everything you need for a holiday, breakfast was good and had a lovely variety of food, I missed a little bit more fruits options, but that’s a personal preference. The staff is very friendly, Silvio at the reception was always welcoming and helpful. The fact that we were there in the busiest time of the year everything was spot on. The pool area could be opened till later, the area is so lovely. Again just an observation.

Location, location, location. There were many issues during my stay. The hotel was fully booked, yet only one elevator was working. I suffered food poisoning that required a hospital visit, forcing me to cancel my flight in the morning and planned sightseeing. I requested a four-hour extension to my stay, which was denied unless I paid a full extra day. I counteroffered half the daily rate, but that was also declined. Additionally, the bathroom drainage was clogged. Overall, the experience was extremely stressful.

The location is excellent, situated between Ipanema and Copacabana beaches. The rooms are clean and well organized. Breakfast is good, though fairly simple, with a limited variety of options. The staff can be quite rude, and the in-room bathrooms are very small.
