Relais del Principe

Very convenient to the train station (less than a 5 min walk), and convenient to popular attractions. Room was comfortable and clean. Tasty breakfast in the privacy of our room was perfect!! Although our room didn't have a balcony, in future bookings I would make sure to secure a balcony room. Mini frig with affordable sundries was nice for late night. We found the price point attractive. The host was gracious and arranged a taxi for us to the port. At first walking through all the access doors was a little tricky, but we finally got a good flow.

The interior of the property was excellent, it appears to have been recently remodeled. The rooms are just as they appear in the pictures. The area surrounding the property is a little rough, but no worse than the rest of Naples. You feel very safe once you’re inside the building. The rooms were quite comfortable and included a nice breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at Relais del Principe — the room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. Alessandro, the host, was exceptionally kind and helpful, making us feel truly welcome. Highly recommended! Nothing

Staff were great. Room was big and really comfortable. Breakfast was nice. The area might feel a bit sketchy for some with families but it didn't bother us really. Was within walking distance of great restaurants and historic centre. And well placed for connections to airport and port.

Very comfortable, modern rooms finished to a high standard. Very convenient for central Naples and Transport. Crossing the roads nearby and getting to grips with Neapolitan traffic norms!

The room was nice but very loud from the street and also there was noise in the morning from the inside when they were preparing the breakfast, since not good door isolation. The breakfast is only coffee and some sweet pastries, no variety and only served form 8:30-9:30.

Well decorated and appointed . Extra attention to detail . Lovely old fashioned lift to floor . Very secure . Property lovely buy I Didn’t like the area , it felt a bit edgy , ok as had husband with me but wouldn’t have wanted to be there alone .

The hotel was right next to the train station which is what I needed. Additionally, the hotel staff helped me book an incredibly early taxi and were able to communicate with me early/late in the day.

Rooms have been renovated, they look new. Location: close to the railway station, so it’s convenient, but be advised it’s a rough neighborhood. The only reason to stay here is if you’re on a budget and need to be close to the trains. Despite exchanging Whatsapp messages with Alessandro to confirm my arrival time, when I arrived at the time I said I would arrive, no one answered the doorbell. The rooms are located in a multi-family building, so you have to get through 2 gates. I was left outside, buzzing and ringing and trying to call Alessandro for about 15 minutes. I am a female and was alone, with luggage, outside on the street in a rough neighborhood. Alessandro never picked up my calls, nor did he read my messages until much later on. Finally, a nice elderly neighbor let me into the building, but I still could not get into the hotel. Alessandro never picked up my calls, but when the nice neighbor called him, he picked up straight away! Then he acted annoyed, like it was my fault. Terrible experience.

Relais del Priciple is very close to the station and transport links into the city and port. It is also close to historic back streets which were full of life. The room was clean and comfortable and had good sound proofing against any city noise. The staff were very welcoming and friendly giving a good breakfast including gluten free options. The hotel does not have its own entry and required access through a locked door of a bigger block and a lift to the second floor, but once we had the access card entry and exit was easy.

It was hard for me to believe that there could be an apartment with such a high rating. It turns out that it is not the fault of friends. This place is truly excellent and I sincerely recommend it.
