Decent place in the rough part of Naples Signage. Tiny sign, tough to find

Location Breakfast could have more options

The location is great. Close to the station and the heart of Naples

The room was clean, and we had everything we needed, including the free water bottles provided. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Additionally, the location was excellent; being so close to the central station made it very convenient for us. During my stay, the air conditioning was not working. I am sharing this so the property can address the issue for future guests.

The staff was very nice. Everything aside from the staff was bad. The rooms appeared nice, but really you can tell corners were cut. Location is awful. It’s a very dirty area. The building feels like a jail. The “hotel” is really just a hallway of rooms on a floor “suite”.

We enjoyed our stay in Naples. The location was great because of its proximity to the train station and many good restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable with a great shower. A shout out to the staff who were always kind, courteous and unfailingly helpful. Thank you so very much. Could have better coffee.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The prices are fair, and it’s easy to reach from the airport using the Alibus

Breakfast is great. The staff is super friendly and helpful, especially Aldo. The location is near the central station which is not 100% safe.

Clean room and it is very close to the train station and restaurants. Good breakfast. It was difficult to locate this property

Very friendly staff, taking care of us very well. Good breakfast. The room was noisy with the window open, but when we figure out how to use the AC and closed the window, it was very comfortable. Hard to find it - it's located on the the second floor of the regular building, hard to drop off the luggage, no parking at the front, and the location, while very close to historical center, is not optimal.

Unfortunately, I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience and how this matter has been handled. I rented this hotel stay with the reasonable expectation that your company properly vets its providers and ensures that listings accurately represent both the property and its surroundings. That expectation was not met. The AuRoom Hotel was advertised with images and descriptions that do not reflect the actual reality of its location. Upon arrival, it became immediately apparent that the hotel is situated in an area that raised serious safety concerns, including visible drug use, individuals engaging in prostitution, homeless encampments, garbage, and broken glass throughout the surrounding streets. Based on these conditions, we made the reasonable and necessary decision not to check in and to leave the area immediately for our personal safety. I contacted your company right away to report the situation. Despite providing numerous photos clearly documenting the surrounding conditions, your team chose to side with the vendor rather than advocate for the customer. It is extremely concerning that your department deemed these conditions acceptable for guests. Notably, the on-site hotel manager acknowledged that the hotel is located in a very bad area, while dismissively stating that this is “normal in Europe.” That statement does not excuse misleading advertising, nor does it negate legitimate safety concerns for travelers who relied on your platform’s representations. This situation constitutes misrepresentation of the property and a failure of duty of care. I did not receive the service that was advertised, nor was I obligated to place myself or my family in an unsafe environment in order to preserve your vendor’s interests. Widely kpen drug use, prostitution, homeless people, everywhere, tons of garbage and much more. Unfortunately, I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience and how this matter has been handled. Good access from train station. Very neat and accommodating 2 adults and 4 kids. Breakfast could be better. Not a lot of options.

Fantastic place to stay in. The hosts were super nice and their recommendations are top tier.

Our one night stay at Au Room was great but truthfully, it was a functional stop. We were flying out of Naples so stayed one night to more easily catch our flight the next morning. The place itself was great, very clean. Amazing staff! It was a 5 minute walk from the train station, so super easy to get to. But, it's a 5 minute walk from the train station, so there's a certain element of sketchiness on the street. That being said, it was totally fine, safe, always busy, easy walk to the center of the incredibly vibrant old town of Naples - restaurants, bars, shops. The property is on the 2nd floor of a building and not the most welcoming outside, but once you come in, it's all good. The staff was absolutely fantastic. They booked us a driver to the airport, they gave us restaurant recommendations, just super great and helpful. We did a half-day trip to Pompei and easily walked from Au Room to our tour meeting spot. Au Room is very central to literally everything.

Neighborhood. Building elevator. Lights with automatic shut off in breakfast area.

The people here are lovely. So friendly and caring. It was so nice to stay with them. Arriving at the building was a bit concerning since the building is a bit run down. However, once you enter the hotel, it’s like entering a different world. It was clean and comfortable.

The accomedation is very clean, the rooms are big, spacious, and well-designed. We especially loved the balcony overlooking the downtown area, a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view. Overall, this is truly one of the best stays we’ve ever had, and I would definitely come back again. Highly recommended! There wasn’t anything I actually disliked, but there are a few things that could be improved: the entrance of the building from the ground level could look better, the elevator could be more nicely maintained, and the breakfast could have a bit more variety.
