Location, staff, facilities all great

The location of the hotel was good, about 100mtrs from Naples central station. Airport shuttle service was located outside of the station, so it was not far to travel for transport and an early morning flight. Interaction with the staff was minimal. The gentleman that I spoke to when I arrived was the only one who could speak English. The lighting in the room was so bad that I had to use my torch to supplement my ability to read. The shower was fine, but they only supplied two small towels. Cleanliness was in doubt!

Very good

Location is excellent few steps from main train station and airport bus stop. There is a lift. I don't think it meets the 3 star standards. Furniture and facilities are outdated. There is no the do not disturb cardboard to hang on the door. There is a safe but locked Davide the receptionist guy did not give me a city map, he told me tomorrow I will print one for you but I did not see him after. When I checked out the hotel, I found out that there is plenty of maps in the reception....

A real rustic old fashioned italian hotel- very much made to feel at home inside the traditional room

Front desk pleasant. Housekeeping team good, the room was well kept, towels and sheets changed regularly. Garabaldi Sq has a 24 hour heavy security presence (25-30 armed soldiers/police)for a reason - be prepared for that. We were at the back of the hotel (room 107) and the noise from surrounding housing blocks, workmen and the car park was incessant. The drains in the bathroom stank. Housekeeping poured a cocktail of chemicals down them that worked for a few hours, then it was as bad as before. I think that there is something fundamentally wrong with the drains. We ended up putting tape over every overflow and covering every drain - still smelled. Room dimly lit, TV function to some working out, but Italian television is terrible so not an issue. Apart from the noise and the smell, it's a nice little hotel.

The rooms are very outdated Toliets are very old and the shower was broken AC does not work. Dust everywhere, I found hair in the blanket. Pillows very bad and old

Left a e mail saying I was going to be late, I show up and the front desk guy says my room has a a restroom issue and send me to another hotel that was in horrible conditions. The guy basically gave away my room and tried to pin it on the restroom, then he’s very rude and got loud with me when I called him out on it.. horrible experience..
