Amazing location so close to Sassi. Very spacious. Antonio helped direct us to free parking close to the room.

Everything was amazing! Antonio was super helpful and his place was the best out of all places we stayed in Italy. The apartment is very clean and he thought of all the small details of anything you would ever need. Location is quiet and at the same time right near the center. The rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable, and the cave walls kept us cool in very hot weather. The bathroom is gorgeous with a tub like a mini pool. The hosts are kind, responsive, and helpful at every turn. We felt taken care of! Nothing. It was a great set up for a family of four with two teenage kids.

Location is just near the old town center, but still accessible by car. So the perfect location for those traveling with a car. Nope

Tge apartment was nice. Two rooms with 1 bath. One large and one small. Bathroom was large but the light needed to be much brighter! Owner was very nice.

Really a super host. The owner was super kind and helped us un any way he could. Also our two dogs were welcomed and we did appreciate this. Facilities are very comfortable and lots of additional stuff (like toletries and coffee tea etc) is abundantly provided. A fair italian style breakfast is available in the morning in the host’s home, giving you the possibility to feel in a family environment. We do suggest this place Possibly the modern style of the furniture does not match well with the place

The bathroom was simply unbelievable, with a huge tub and plenty of hot water to fill it. There was a nice view from the bathroom window. There was a great selection of teas at the coffee bar. There were TVs in each room. The host kindly took us to a place to park the car for free and brought us back. The hosts served a great continental breakfast and were wonderful people. The description on Booking Dot Com indicated that the room came with a washer, dryer, microwave and terrace; it did not. However, our hosts very kindly washed, dried and folded a load of clothes for us.

Hosts were very kind. Antonio picked us up on arrival and dropped us off at the bus station when we left.

Wonderful location and beautiful apartment in the historic section. Antonio was so kind and accommodating in helping us obtain a room nearby when we wanted to arrive a day early. He also arranged secure parking and carried our luggage from location to location. Breakfast was served by Antonio and his wife in their home. I have nothing negative to say.

Our stay at Acqua Dolce was wonderful! Bruno (the proprietor) was so welcoming and accommodating and our suite was so cool! We were a family of four traveling through southern Italy and our stay in Matera was among our favorites. Everything was perfectly clean, the location could not have been better and the experience of staying in Matera was so unique. Bruno welcomed us and helped get us settled. In the morning he provided a lovely breakfast. My children loved having their own room and the beds were so comfortable! We would definitely love to stay there again!
