Riad Idra

Staff were wonderful and very helpful. The outdoor seating on the roof was so enjoyable. The whole experience was so relaxing and amazing. Every thing was great but bathroom could use some more lighting.

Riad Idra is a beautifully designed and decorated old house that combined the charm of old style and the comfort of modern living. Breakfast was delicious and staff were very respectful, friendly and polite made our stay very pleasant. Loved everything

Beautifully refurbished and furnished. Very good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms. Rooms below terrace were a bit noisy due to furniture being moved above. Shower wasn’t hot in the evening.

Shower was not hot in the evening. Some rooms below the terrace can be loud — furniture being moved above early morning.

Very clean and nice rooms. Staffs are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We felt very welcomed throughout the stay and fortunate to pick this spot over others.

We stayed at Riad Idra 8 years ago. We loved it so much that the moment we have decided to bring our kids to Morocco, it's the first place that we booked. Everyone at Riad Idra treats us like their family. They took such good care of us during our stay. We stayed at 4 different Riads during our time in Morocco, Karine is the most responsive and thorough person whom I ever worked with. We were so happy to see Omar again (server at the restaurant). Our son is allergic to all nuts. Omar is meticulous in screening all of food before serving them to my son. We had zero incidents while we were there. Their breakfast is comprehensive and delicious. Their multi-course dinner is also delightful. We had dinner that for 3 nights. The restaurant is nice and quiet. It's a perfect place to chill after a full-day of sightseeing. Riad Idra is tastefully decorated, spotless, with excellent staff and convenient location to many walkable attractions. It only has 7 rooms! If they have a room available, you should consider yourself lucky. Book this gem immediately! Nothing.

I had such a beautiful, calming stay at The Riad..it was one of the best nights for me and my husband in Morocco! The staff were incredibly helpful and amazing.. definitely will be back to this Riad on the next visit.. Honestly nothing to not like

Wonderful breakfast, beautifully presented. We had to eat indoors due to the weather but the room was well appointed, the service exceptional and the variety of food just right.I understand it is served on the beautiful rooftop terrace when it is warmer. On arrival, the mint tea and individual attention to run through the map (highlighting places to go, suggesting restaurants, etc) was fantastic. Every query was answered without bother. Service from every member of staff was exceptional. The weather which was completely outside of their control ! ? The location is fairly hard to find even with online maps as the internet can be a bit sketchy. However there was little to complain about within the Riads control.

Beautiful Riad and great attention to the guest. Hamam treatment was nice. Much better than a hotel experince. The central courtyard should be covered during the winter. It was rainy and very slippery and it was not possible to enjoy this beautiful area. Many other riads cover the courtyard so it should be possible. They never put the fireplace on in the sitting room even though requested. The Hamam was not really very warm and steamy. But the treatment was very nice.

Location, cleanliness, comfort and breakfast Shower hot water use to get very hot automatically. Shower stall was not completely enclosed spilling water everywhere.

Service was immaculate. Staff was superb, and Suite,adorned with a bouquet of red roses, greeted us upon entry. Rooftop breakfast was the icing on the cake. Everyone who visits Marrakech should experience a night at the Riad Idra. We shall return !!!!. We did not like to leave the Riad Idra.

Excellent location in the north side of Medina. Manager sweetly upgraded us to the beautiful Aliya room due to our special occasion. Aliya has a large bedroom and bathroom with many beautiful architectural details. Bed is a bit on the harder side, not a pillow top type of mattress. Staff are very attentive and super nice. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommend. Riad Idra is a gem.

Nothing not to like.

Location: navigation inside the Medina is tough, but the Riad is close to Bacca cafe, the palace and the big road which is very convenient when you want a taxi. The host and crew are both helpful and sublime. Breakfasts are served in the lovely rooftop, are full and delicious and our pre-ordered dinner is just as wonderful. The room was beautiful and fully equipped. Unbeknownst to us, the souk doors close approximately 10pm and it can feel uneasy at night even though the Medina area is relatively safe during the date. In one night, We manage to get thru the souk doors after 10pm (a scary experience by the way) and reach the Riad but no one opens the Riad door for us. the staff goes outside responding to another guest’s request. Perhaps more staffing in the nighttime would be helpful.

Nothing. Everything was flawless.

The hospitality is top notch. The staff goes above and beyond to make your staff comfortable. You feel like you are constantly attended to. The breakfast was delicious and slightly alternates everyday which I liked. The room is immaculate. The hotel even gives you some slippers to use and take home with you. The cleaning staff will come and clean your room while you're out for the day and then comes again while you're at dinner to prep your bed before you sleep. Service is surreal. Anything you need ask the staff. The hotel itself is gorgeous. Great rooftop, not much of a view but it's beautiful up there. There is no pool, but if that matters to you, you can visit a spa with a pool for the day. The hotel is very close to Bacha Coffee and Jardin Secret. About a 20 min walk to the end of the Medina to see Sadiaan tombs, Bahia Palace, and El Badi Palace. Great place to stay! Highly recommend.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, also with making external reservations. They cleaned the room whenever we exited and it was always clean. We unfortunately did not have the chance to have dinner there, but the breakfast was amazing. They even packed us breakfast on one of the days when we had to get up early. The location is right in the center of the Medina in a really nice neighbourhood. I would definitely book here again! Nothing!
