The location is very central. Breakfast was below average. The hotel is very badly maintained. There a bad odor in the elevators and they have no workings lights. The carpets are stained. The bathrooms are extremely tiny. The rooms decor is very bad. The A/C in the rooms does not work. They ran out of gas for stove to make breakfast.

No communication option with this property. Neither by phone, nor chat/e mail... not even through booking.com help center. Very upsetting.

Impossible to contact the hotel by phone, chat or e mail. Hotel reservation staff don't consider answering clients as part of their job. I have never met a property that was less accessible. Run down.

Rooms, breakfast, staff in restaurants, cleaning Front desk staff are useless. I had a time where I was calling out for someone constantly and when knocked the room behind the desk twice to get a response that it was that lady's break and no one else was even around These guys failed to take payment from us and then while we are sleeping they were constantly calling us to come and make the payment Also the rooms were given to us 3 hours late, whenever calling them, they'll say they'll call back in 5 minutes which they never did And they never respond to emails or messages online

The Hotel is in an excellent location in Hivernage. We booked this hotel based on it being a Novotel and we have certain expectations based on our previous experiences with the chain - known expectation of Novotel Hotels. Our stay started off poorly from the outset - with language challenges, check in system was down, the Front Office Staff tried their best but check in took a really long time. The Front Office Manager (Madame) was unfriendly and unhelpful. The Bookings was done for 3 couples yet we were asked to pay an extra nearly 1800 dirhams because we were advised that we had only booked for 4 people - we had to simulate the booking process to demonstrate to the Front Office Staff how we had booked and at not stage did the booking process require peoples details to be entered etc. The rooms selected were for 2 occupants. The 2 rooms with 1 person showing was showing a differential of 50 Dirhams compared to the 1 room that had 2 occupants - we could not comprehend the request for nearly 1800 dirhams - we would have been ok with the 50 x 2 = 100 Dirhams which is what we ended up paying in the end after objecting to the request for extra 1800. Apart of the check in issues above, 2 of the 3 rooms we booked had major water leaks from the showers and was a major risk to ourselves in slipping and falling in the bathroom. We had advised of the issues but was not offered alternative rooms etc. The room did not have 2 cups so we could make Nespresso coffee - there was no bottle water provided in all 3 rooms - the amenities was inconsistent. The Other Front Office Manager (Amir) was very helpful and resolved our issues and helped out with the issues we were having - He deserves full credit. Hotel based on location could offer significantly better experience when you compare to its sister property Sofitel which is located literally next to it. ACCOR can do Better.

Poor staff behaviors, snobbish, lazy, unhelpful. Too much waiting unassisted during check-in, they don’t accept our rental car on parking (low level car), they didn’t help with luggage or indications, calling reception several times with no answering, they don’t even say thank you just once and they even say a word at the check out.
