Hotel Travelodge Barcelona Fira

Not much. It’s old and run down. We did not stay our entire time. We left because I was terrified of getting bed bugs.

There has not been water, coffee in my room. And the towels has never been changed everyday.

Location near metro. Comfortable beds. Nice staff. Everything was very worn down and poor. Very expensive and no value for money. Old hotel with no upgrades.

The Windows don't open completely and during the night is too warm

Room was clean, elevators too. Staff was friendly and helpful, and luggage scale was great! No restaurants or shuttle service to/from sea port or airport.

The food was expensive and I couldn't heat up my own food or put it the fridge

Good sized room with desk and wardrobe. Close to the station, 15 minute walk to shops and restaurants.

Room keycards were constantly malfunctioning or not working, and it wasn't just our experience. Other guests also had the same issue. Eventually, We were locked out of our room the night before departure because the keycard reader on the door malfunctioned. The staff was completely unprepared for the issue. The manager was rude and condescending and wanted us to wait until the next morning to open the door and get our luggage. As this was not an option for us, we had to wait 3 hours for maintenance to break open the door and then. Basically, I lost a whole night's sleep because of this adventure. Afterward, they offered us to either stay in the room with the broken door or give us another room for the night. I can't believe staying in the broken room was even an option. We weren't offered compensation for the inconvenience. Some receptionists didn't even know english and spoke to us through google Translate. The whole hotel and rooms smelt very strongly of cleaning chemicals. A very irritating odor, stay away if you have any respiratory issues.

Well, the location is far, but it's less than 30 minutes to the center or airport, it's was very manageable. Even we were on the street at 1am or 2am, and yes it's kind of dark, but it was safe, there were always one or two persons walking or jogging. But still 30 minutes away from the center

-Conveniently located near the metro station. It takes about 30-45 minutes ride to central and less than 30 minutes to the airport. -Room was a standard room, airconditioning was working well. We had to request for a hairdryer but the reception was very helpful. -The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and it was a good booking overall. None that I could think of.

On arrival staff seemed uninterested in interacting with guests, took almost 5 minutes standing at the arrivals desk to have someone speak to me ( two staff behind the counter more interested in chatting to each other) , good quick check in and room was very basic but very clean, first night passed off with no incidents but night two Saturday 16th august was a different story, at exactly 11.30pm a full scale Rave started - and when I say full scale I mean full scale, music was next door but sounded like the DJ was outside my bedroom - music was so so loud and was rattling the glasses on the counter in my room - tried to phone reception but no answer so went down to talk to them phones at the desk were ringing but the unhelpful gentleman at the desk ignored the phones, on asking what was going on and why the music was so loud I got the reply " I don't play the music so it's not my problem" and then when asked what time this would stop the reply was "you don't like? Phone the police" - now I can understand that on occasions things are not ideal but this music at an insane volume continued from 11.30 pm untill 06.50 am with absolutely no let up in the intensity or volume every single person in this hotel must have made complaints and the only reason I did not pay for this night was that the payment had already been taken, this fiasco was not good and anyone intending on staying here should consider alternative accommodation absolutely unacceptable from this hotel!!

Close to metro...and metro line to airport. Too much for a very small bottle of water.

AC works well 1. This 2025 but they charge 10 Euros extra for Wi-Fi...so no internet 2. Poor processed food for breakfast (except egg)...USA style 3. Travel lodge is an US brand...expect a Patel Inn experience in Spain !!!

Everything was great.

The staff were very friendly. The metro station (Fira) is within 5 minutes walk. The price was not appropriate for the accommodation, we paid over $500 US for two nights in poor accommodations. The room was gross with filthy walls and floors covered in unidentifiable stains and smudges. The bathroom smelled strongly of mold and mildew and both were visible throughout the tile in the shower. The location of the Travelodge is in a very strange area with nothing around. I did not feel the booking.com profile for the accommodation were accurate.
