    Then the building is not marked with exit to the lobby or elevators Book the hotel and it said free shuttle - when I called for shuttle front desk said we’re too busy tonight. There is no shuttle service — had to pay$ 25 for an Uber. So because of your shuttle, I spent $50 to and from the airport 2 1/2 miles away

    The room was clean and ready when we checked in. We did have a 2 bedroom/2 bath, but one of the bathroom toilets was clogged when we arrived. We did call maintenance (it was late when we checked in, so we did not expect for it to get handles that night, but the front desk personnel informed us that someone would be there around 8am. When we came back the following evening, the toilet still was not functioning properly.

    Rating: 5/5 Stars I recently stayed at the Residence Inn in Irving for a one-night stay (Sunday the 29th), and it was truly excellent. If you are looking for a place to stay in the Dallas area, this is it! Here are a few highlights from my visit: The Best Sleep Ever: I have to mention the bed—it was hands down the best mattress I can ever remember sleeping on. I woke up feeling completely refreshed. Brilliant Layout: The room design was so impressive that I’m actually using the layout as inspiration for a tiny house project I’m planning. It was functional, spacious, and felt like a home away from home. Top-Notch Service: The staff was incredibly polite and patient. As a guest, I felt genuinely cared for and, most importantly, very safe throughout my stay. Convenience: While I didn't need the airport shuttle because I had a rental car, the location is perfect for those flying in or out of DFW. I had to check out before breakfast, but the seamless process made my early departure stress-free. I will definitely be back and will be telling everyone I know that this is the place to stay when visiting North Texas!

She only gave us one room to start. Charged us and as we were walking out I said that doesn't seem right. Realized we didn't get our second room. Upon telling her we should have 2 rooms she said oh my bad, and then charged us again. In reality it was a difference of about $70.

    Close to airport No water within the hour of our arrival. No hot water in some rooms according to staff. Roaches in the table of the room. If you are traveling with more than one bag you need to do a lot of hassle to open the doors. Late checkout was offered by providing Marriott Bonvoy number by the hotel in the days prior to arrival only to be denied when checking in.

    I booked two rooms, and received a confirmation, but the hotel could only give us one room. They blamed it on Booking.com, but I have no way of knowing whose fault this really was. Also, the check in line was very long, with only one person working the front desk. It took over an hour to process 10 guests in line ahead of us. In fairness, there was a huge issue at DFW causing mass flight cancellations, but still the process seemed really inefficient.

    Housekeeping staff and poor maintenance. Basic hygiene issues, our room 104 was full of bed bugs and had to do chemical treatment, A/C water leakages, TV not working etc. Even escalating to GM of the property and customer care did not help.

    We had to move rooms since the room we were given had blood all over the 2nd bedroom in various places which we had to clean because we have toddlers. They offered to clean the other room that was soiled opposed to getting us another room immediately. The second room they gave us, the door lock kept getting stuck out so if you didn't pay attention the door wouldn't be closed all the way, and you would be subject to vandalism.

    Our connection flight, among many other flights (due to weather) thru DFW, was canceled. It was after midnight with a line of people needing accommodations. The staff was very kind and courteous to help out. Breakfast was good and replenished often. The pool and room were clean. Thank you for the stay during our distressed situation.

    Unfortunately, this was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve had — which is especially surprising and upsetting, given that I have always associated the Marriott brand with quality service. I was traveling with my family, including my 6-year-old child, and we were shocked at the level of negligence from the hotel staff. For the first two days, there was no housekeeping service provided at all. On the third day, we specifically requested cleaning, but upon returning to our room, we found it in the same condition — no garbage removed, no towels changed. We once again requested housekeeping on the fourth day, but the service was completely ignored again. What made the situation worse was the staff’s unapologetic attitude. When we raised our concerns, we were told bluntly that it didn’t matter even if we gave a bad review or rated them zero stars. This level of indifference and disrespect is unacceptable — especially from a hotel under the Marriott banner. We were left with no choice but to clean our own room and take out the garbage ourselves. We even had to go and ask for clean towels directly, which is far from what one should expect from a hotel stay. This experience left us feeling disrespected, saddened, and extremely disappointed. With a young child in tow, we were concerned about health and hygiene, and the lack of cleanliness put us under unnecessary stress during what was supposed to be a relaxing stay. I am seriously considering filing a formal complaint with Marriott corporate and would appreciate a prompt response and resolution to this matter.

    Security was horrible, door from outside was broken so anybody can enter. The place had a smell about it… the tv didn’t work. Finely by bill was sent via email and no information is on the bill. I’ve been trying to call to get my bill so I can submit an expense report. They pick up and hang up the phone because I’ve been letting it ring for so long. My last stay at a RI. Back to Hampton Inn I’ve never had any of this at the countless properties I’ve stayed at.

We felt very uneasy. The bathroom door didn’t close completely. I asked front desk if there was an easy way to get to our room was told no and had to walk around the building only to see easier access in other areas. Overall just a bad experience and won’t stay again

    We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, the a/c was great especially with the hot weather and the staff was super friendly. The hotel's location was centralized to everything we were wanting to do, Grapevine Mills Mall, Medieval Times and the Texas Ranger Stadium.We will definitely be staying here again!!

    We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, the a/c was great especially with the hot weather and the staff was super friendly. The hotel's location was centralized to everything we were wanting to do, Grapevine Mills Mall, Medieval Times and the Texas Ranger Stadium.We will definitely be staying here again!!

    The breakfast was wonderful. The front desk person in the evening was rude and communication was awful. The shuttle that was supposed to pick us up never arrived! At one point in the back and forth conversations I was told by the shuttle driver that he couldn't find us and his shift was now over! After we waited almost an hour we finally took a taxi to the hotel. The taxi driver came in to verify that we, my brother and my 86 yr old mother had been waiting at the pickup spot for a long time. The taxi driver was then given an irritated, dismissive thank-you by the individual behind the desk. There's a lot more but I don't want to relive the nightmare.

    We arrived at 3:15 to check in and were informed (by the shuttle driver) that no one was there to check us in until 4:45 pm. We left and returned. In our room, the TV was broken, so I called the front desk who said no one was there to fix it, so we had to move rooms. In the new room, the tv worked, but the bed was uneven… my feet were a foot higher than my head. And the toilet was uneven, one hip was four inches lower than the right. Not to mention the airplanes taking off and landing every few minutes even into the night. Will never stay here or another Residence Inn again. Terrible.

    Ours was a very relaxing stay. Not minor detail is that planes fly low and directly over the hotel on their landing approach to DFW airport. We tuned them out, but others may not be able to. Otherwise, it was a great stay and we're going back next weekend.

I was here for vacation, and it is a straight shot Southeast on 114 to downtown where I went to the Perot Museum, Dallas World Aquarium, 6th Floor Museum and the Texas State Fair. There aren't any restaurants within walking distance, but I had a car. Sam's Club, Walmart are about 10 minutes away. Pet fee is $100 :(.

    Choosing this location for rest and relaxation is not a great idea. There are much better options that are cheaper. While in a decent area, airplanes fly over this hotel every 5 minutes nonstop. If you trying to rest,....forget it! It also scrambles the cable tv severely with each flight (every 5 minutes). To my disappointment, the cabinetry is worn and does not blend with the room on the whole. It definitely does not look like the pictures online.

I also didn’t like having to walk outside to get to the other side of the building where my room was. It rained my whole trip so having to go outside sucked.

When u talked to both the assistant manager and front desk clerk they both was surprised when I asked about a hot tub and hot breakfast. I showed the Expedia booking and both stated call Expedia but if you choose not to stay that I could be refunded. Every hotel was booked solid so I had to stay however the room was nice and staff friendly. I would not ever use Expedia again it cost more as well I have no trust in what they advertise.

    Our stay was good. Very friendly staff and mostly clean. I’m a clean freak and even before Covid I cleaned the hotel room. To my surprise after sanitizing and wiping things down there wasn’t much dirt or residue on my cloths. I highly recommend this hotel.

    Residence Inn is a exceptional hotel but this location needed a little TLC. The location is excellent close to a lot of things to do and hidden gem restaurants even in the pandemic. The front staff was excellent but house keeping needed help. In a drawer in the vanity area was a bloody bandaid and black and mild inside found a few other dirty areas so we went bought our own cleaning supplies and cleaned ourselves.

    I was very disappointed to find that during a pandemic my room had fingerprints, dried food on the wall, hair in the tub/bathroom, dust and so on. It was very evident that extra care had not be taken to clean and sanitize the room to pre-Covid standards. Definitely was not cleaned to meet the expectations during a pandemic. Disappointed with this Marriott property.

    This residence Inn used to be a nice please but has seriously deteriorated in the level and quality of cleanliness provided considering the COVID situation! I don’t think the rooms are being cleaned at all after a guest stayed with previous guest hair all over the bathroom floor, unswept kitchen floor with insects flying all over the room! This is the worst accommodation experience I’ve had all my life. I spoke to manager on duty and he gave me a replacement accommodation that a sofa full of pet’s hair with very dirty kitchen floor. I decided to leave before midnight to another hotel as I felt the condition of this place was too unhygienic for me to sleep or stay in. I requested for a refund on my booking & checked out! Please stay away from this place if u value your health!!

Residence staff allowed me to check in early, which was great because I had to work from the room. The room was beautiful and clean and it really is a home away from home. I sat at the desk and worked and listened to kids playing in the pool and the planes flying overhead. It was very peaceful.
