    We arrived around 1 a.m. after a long day of flight delays, wanting nothing more than to get to our rooms. My colleague had booked two rooms through Hotels.com, but the front desk agent, Faz, could not locate the reservation in the system. After searching repeatedly and asking us to wait several minutes, he found only one of the two rooms. He then tried to check us in manually. My colleague's three credit cards were all declined, and so were three of mine — six cards in total. It was obvious the problem was the hotel's payment system, not our cards. To prove it, I booked two rooms on Expedia from a separate account, and they appeared and processed immediately, using the very same card that had just "declined." Rather than acknowledge the clear system issue, Faz was dismissive and rude, implying our cards were at fault. We finally reached our rooms only to leave again at 5 a.m. for a 7 a.m. flight. A long day was made far longer by how we were treated. I won't be returning to a Westin property.

    Coffee maker in the room wa broken. Coffee shop on Lobby was closed. Other than that, hotel was very nice, and the venue they provided for the VCF was excellent. It was difficult to navigate their parking system app that promised fre parking for guests, but never asked if you were a guest or just a visitor. Will have to wait until next credit card statement arrives toser. Staff at front desk had no clue regarding the third party app or determining if fees were actually waved or not.

    The hotel is an old hotel which has been refurbished. Our room was comfortable with the shower over the bathtub. Not sure why you would want a very thick doona on the bed?? Staff were very helpful and the airport pick up and drop off was excellent. The gym and pool on the top level had amazing views. The breakfast is what is normal these days in a hotel and there is a Starbucks coffee shop open as well. We enjoyed a meal from the restaurant and was very good value for money.

    This is a great hotel to stay in especially if you have an early flight like we did. We like leaving our car here and taking a shuttle or Ubering to the airport. The hotel is very clean, and a good value.

    I did not stated a preference for a quiet room. Room was great, staff was very nice despite the crowded and lot of requested they were receiving. Hotel is too big, very crowded. Parking lot crowded. Even though the hotel is really close to the airport is in the opposite side from the rental car return, just consider if you have a rental. They have a shuttle but due to the crowded situation , lots of flight cancellations, it was about 30 minute wait for shuttle.

    When we finally got into our room at the Westin Dallas Fort Worth Airport and went to sleep. Shortly after, someone knocked on our door. We were so tired and thought someone must've knocked by mistake, so we didn't think much of it and went back to sleep. Shortly after that, someone opened the door to our room. To our surprise, we jumped out of bed, and they realized someone was in the room and left. We tried going back to sleep, but not long after, someone opened our room door again; this time, we yelled for them to get out, and they did. At the front desk in the morning, we told the staff what happened. Their exact words were "you should've called security, there's nothing we can do now." We were so dumbfounded and tired, and my wife just wanted to get home that we just left the hotel. After we came home, we shared our experience with our friends, and they encouraged us to write a review so other travelers would be aware of this. I can't even imagine what could have happened if my wife was by herself. For a hotel the size of Westin to blame the guest for what happened is unacceptable.

    A great location close to the airport and reasonably priced. The room was tidy and clean to a fair standard. The big letdown is the lack of communication, which left us stranded waiting for the shuttle bus that is meant to be included in the price. Additionally, there were further charges added without any reason or explanation. A disappointing end to a wonderful weekend.

    The hospitality and attention to detail were amazing. My room was available upon an early check-in which allowed me to rest and restore after a flight cancellation.     We showed up around 10 PM the night of 5/10. There was a huge line to check in because of many (!!) flight cancelations. The two young women handling the check in were outstanding! They stayed calm, very respectful, welcoming, and extremely efficient!

    Just a quick overnight stay between connecting flights. Arrived late and checked out early. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were slammed with arrivals because of bad weather flight delays at DFW, but generally managed to maintain their professionalism and sense of humor. I arrived too late to sample any of the restaurants, but had a very satisfactory late evening beer at the bar. A good value airport hotel experience.

    I arrived at the hotel around 10:00 p.m. after spending seven hours on a plane without food. The restaurant closed at 10:00, and while the bar was open, it was extremely crowded and staffed by only one bartender. What made the situation worse was that several restaurant staff were standing nearby but refused to help. I stood at the bar for nearly 30 minutes without being acknowledged at all. At that point, I was simply hungry and exhausted. Hotels know their arrival volumes, and this level of understaffing during a peak arrival window was frustrating and avoidable. I understand the weather was poor and road conditions were hazardous, which may have limited calling in additional staff, but staff who were already on-site should have stepped in to help. I’ve stayed at this hotel several times in the past, but this experience was a major letdown. I won’t be returning and will stay at DFW Marriott or Sheraton instead.

    It was clean and the room was set up well. The lobby is pretty and the people were nice. The pool felt dangerous and looked dirty. Bathroom sink was very slow to drain. Airplanes right over head were loud for the whole stay. You have to pay for parking any time you come and go.

    The entrance is nice and updated. My room was not clean. The linens had not been changed. After being at my work conference and gala event I attempted to get in the bed and relaxed and noticed and old dried blood stain on the bottom fitted sheet. I called downstairs to the front desk to report the matter. I asked for all the sheets to be changed. There was a hole in the bathroom ceiling which had not been completely repaired. It looked as though there had been a leak. I was placed in an adjoining room which I would have rather been asked if I had a preference in the room at the time of checkin. I wasn’t aware if the room details until I walked in the room and saw the extra door. I was also placed at the end of the hallway room 440. I should have been made aware of the location of the room at checking as well.

    Shuttle service too slow and backlogged.-you need a backup van whenever there are busy times and flight cancelations. Had to take uber to get to airport on time. Tub faucet was detached from the wall.

    Great hotel. Clean and modern. Only downside was breakfast doesn’t just come with your stay like most hotels. There is no really no amenities near it but it’s located in an even distance to a lot of spots so I thought it was perfect. I’d stay again and recommend

    The view of the airport from the room was really nice. The location was convenient and the overall property looked clean and well-maintained. The room I received was not the one I booked — it was smaller and had a tub instead of a walk-in shower. The bed had a dip in the middle, one pillowcase had yellow stains, and the closet door was misaligned and wouldn’t close. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles were empty, and I had to call multiple times to get replacements. Front desk calls often went unanswered, the lounge had no snacks available during the day or evening, and the pool closed earlier than expected.

We did take the shuttle the next morning back to the airport and that worked well. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small and dated and the lighting was not great. The worst part was that our toilet did not work. I find it hard to accept that no one had noticed this prior to our stay - especially the cleaning staff.

    I have stayed here in the past. it has gone downhill; the staff is useless and doesn't even answer the front desk phone half the time. the food is subpar, and I was ticketed for parking a vehicle (400 dollars over the week i stayed there, and when i tried to clear up the tickets they ghosted me and stopped returning my calls. go spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

    For the price, I would think that there would be a continental breakfast of some sort. They have a bar that you can get breakfast at in the lobby. The shuttle to the airport was nice. The “heavenly” showers were subpar. The shower head was so low that I needed to lean down to wash my hair (I’m 5’10”).

    The hotel is tired, the lobby looks like it had some money spent on it but the room was in need of an update, the A/C was noisy and had issues, not ideal when you only book the place to get some sleep. Breakfast was disorganized, no idea how people were getting food, noone to ask, no signage, no advice offered at check in. Ive nothing to compare it to in Dallas, but if this is typical it is a pretty poor standard

    The hotel and rooms were nice! The night staff was very welcoming and kind but the morning staff was very rude, which is why I gave 4 stars. I also did not like that we had to pay for parking. There was nothing special about the parking lot. I can understand if there was a garage of some sort or security out 24/7 driving around the parking lot, or even a safety gate around the premises, but there wasn’t any of that. On top of that, there are signs that tell people not to leave valuables in their vehicle and the property is not responsible for damaged vehicles or stolen items. Why not? We are paying to park there. That was a total waste of money and didn’t make sense. I have stayed at many different Westin hotels and this is the ONLY one I had to pay to park. That’s just insane to me.

    Loved the staff here they were very helpful. The paid parking situation was not so great. The QR code on the check-in paper didn’t work. The one in the elevator wouldn’t accept this location but the one on the valet stand and front desk do work. Transportation to the airport was very nice and my driver Kara was wonderful. We extended our stay an extra night for a nearby convention and it was wonderful to come back to the hotel and rest in their very comfortable beds.

    Lobby area and 1st floor was updated. Actual rooms furniture was out dated. The dresser drawers in my room could/would not close, always stuck out.     When I booked, I assumed that this was the hotel that was attached to the DFW airport. I was surprised, and actually happy, to find out that it is not. It was a short 15 minute drive from the airport- which put this hotel in a quiet and safe location. Beds were comfy, shower was hot and floor was quiet. Overall, worth what I paid for sure!

    Our stay at your hotel was last minute due to all flights cancelled Saturday and Sunday with the earliest departure today due to weather. On Sunday morning, I had explained to the woman at the front desk we had a late flight on Monday and requested a late check out. I was told 12pm was the latest. She saw my reaction to her response and eventually was able to negotiate a 1pm check out vs 3pm. During checkout today, I spoke with the same woman at the front desk and informed her there was vomit on the 9th floor elevator to the doors prior to my room. No apologies or effort to rectify was made. My wife and I noticed this Sunday morning going to breakfast and it was still there when I left today. This was very off putting and left a bad taste. I didn’t say anything about this on Sunday since housekeeping was in the hallways working and figured this would have been addressed immediately. I am positive other guests on the same floor saw the same and suggest to have a manager do a daily walk through of all hallways and public areas in the hotel to ensure no one else has this experience.     I had a fantastic one-night stay at The Westin DFW during a layover. The staff at your hotel was amazing: kind, helpful, and welcoming. My room was spotless, spacious, quiet, and the bed was incredibly soft, making for a spectacular night’s rest. The view from my room was amazing. I also used the hotel shuttle to return to the airport, which was spacious and ran on an hourly schedule, making transportation seamless. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely stay again! My rating would be a 9/10. A nine as I feel the bathroom (I had a tub) was a little outdated.

    It's an older hotel without, or they dont work anymore, slow close room doors. Guests let the doors slam shut and it's loud. Being right by the highway is extra loud, thank goodness I wear ear plugs. The best part about it was the bed and duvet. Ive stayed at better Westin's.

    This is a great property for long layover requiring an overnight. Shuttle to and from airport, Rooms are large, clean and appropriately appointed. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. All of the staff from shuttle driver, front desk, dining staff and manager are very kind and hospitable. We would stay here again when passing through Dallas.
