Great experience !

We arrived around 1 a.m. after a long day of flight delays, wanting nothing more than to get to our rooms. My colleague had booked two rooms through Hotels.com, but the front desk agent, Faz, could not locate the reservation in the system. After searching repeatedly and asking us to wait several minutes, he found only one of the two rooms. He then tried to check us in manually. My colleague's three credit cards were all declined, and so were three of mine — six cards in total. It was obvious the problem was the hotel's payment system, not our cards. To prove it, I booked two rooms on Expedia from a separate account, and they appeared and processed immediately, using the very same card that had just "declined." Rather than acknowledge the clear system issue, Faz was dismissive and rude, implying our cards were at fault. We finally reached our rooms only to leave again at 5 a.m. for a 7 a.m. flight. A long day was made far longer by how we were treated. I won't be returning to a Westin property.

I took over 1 hour to be picked up from Terminal D… no timely shuttle service running. Never staying here again!

Breakfast was AMAZING! The staff was a delight! Chicken strip lunch was over-cooked and very thin.

Coffee maker in the room wa broken. Coffee shop on Lobby was closed. Other than that, hotel was very nice, and the venue they provided for the VCF was excellent. It was difficult to navigate their parking system app that promised fre parking for guests, but never asked if you were a guest or just a visitor. Will have to wait until next credit card statement arrives toser. Staff at front desk had no clue regarding the third party app or determining if fees were actually waved or not.

The hotel is an old hotel which has been refurbished. Our room was comfortable with the shower over the bathtub. Not sure why you would want a very thick doona on the bed?? Staff were very helpful and the airport pick up and drop off was excellent. The gym and pool on the top level had amazing views. The breakfast is what is normal these days in a hotel and there is a Starbucks coffee shop open as well. We enjoyed a meal from the restaurant and was very good value for money.

This is a great hotel to stay in especially if you have an early flight like we did. We like leaving our car here and taking a shuttle or Ubering to the airport. The hotel is very clean, and a good value.

Make sure your room is far enough down the hall and away from the bar area as even though the bar closes at 12am, that area stayed pretty loud until about 2am

Even though the hotel is really close to the airport is in the opposite side from the rental car return, just consider if you have a rental. They have a shuttle but due to the crowded situation , lots of flight cancellations, it was about 30 minute wait for shuttle.

When we finally got into our room at the Westin Dallas Fort Worth Airport and went to sleep. Shortly after, someone knocked on our door. We were so tired and thought someone must've knocked by mistake, so we didn't think much of it and went back to sleep. Shortly after that, someone opened the door to our room. To our surprise, we jumped out of bed, and they realized someone was in the room and left. We tried going back to sleep, but not long after, someone opened our room door again; this time, we yelled for them to get out, and they did. At the front desk in the morning, we told the staff what happened. Their exact words were "you should've called security, there's nothing we can do now." We were so dumbfounded and tired, and my wife just wanted to get home that we just left the hotel. After we came home, we shared our experience with our friends, and they encouraged us to write a review so other travelers would be aware of this. I can't even imagine what could have happened if my wife was by herself. For a hotel the size of Westin to blame the guest for what happened is unacceptable.

A great location close to the airport and reasonably priced. The room was tidy and clean to a fair standard. The big letdown is the lack of communication, which left us stranded waiting for the shuttle bus that is meant to be included in the price. Additionally, there were further charges added without any reason or explanation. A disappointing end to a wonderful weekend.

The hospitality and attention to detail were amazing. My room was available upon an early check-in which allowed me to rest and restore after a flight cancellation. The front desk took a special notice to make sure I did not inquire additional charges. They went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable and comfortable.

Room was very spacious & clean

We showed up around 10 PM the night of 5/10. There was a huge line to check in because of many (!!) flight cancelations. The two young women handling the check in were outstanding! They stayed calm, very respectful, welcoming, and extremely efficient!

Reception didn't pick up the phone all night. Shuttle service was unreliable. Room was outdated.

Just a quick overnight stay between connecting flights. Arrived late and checked out early. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were slammed with arrivals because of bad weather flight delays at DFW, but generally managed to maintain their professionalism and sense of humor. I arrived too late to sample any of the restaurants, but had a very satisfactory late evening beer at the bar. A good value airport hotel experience.

The hallways were so old and run down. The staff were really friendly and helpful Renovate the hallways and replace the carpet and do general maintenance in our room- 341. The coffee maker was so strange and in the end broken

Staff, especially check-in and restaurant were the best customer service I've ever received. Issues were a clogged toilet and only 2 of 4 lifts working. A large kids church group were departing at 630am same time as us which caused huge bottlenecks with the lifts. Carrying large suitcases down 6 floors is not ideal.

Front desk service were amazing, Courtney took care of our check in. We only stayed the night, the snack bar came in handy as we checked in around 11pm. Rooms were dated, however still served its purpose as layover accommodation.

The restaurant closed at 10:00, and while the bar was open, it was extremely crowded and staffed by only one bartender. What made the situation worse was that several restaurant staff were standing nearby but refused to help. I stood at the bar for nearly 30 minutes without being acknowledged at all. At that point, I was simply hungry and exhausted. Hotels know their arrival volumes, and this level of understaffing during a peak arrival window was frustrating and avoidable. I understand the weather was poor and road conditions were hazardous, which may have limited calling in additional staff, but staff who were already on-site should have stepped in to help. I’ve stayed at this hotel several times in the past, but this experience was a major letdown. I won’t be returning and will stay at DFW Marriott or Sheraton instead.

The breakfast isn’t complimentary

It was clean and the room was set up well. The lobby is pretty and the people were nice. The pool felt dangerous and looked dirty. Bathroom sink was very slow to drain. Airplanes right over head were loud for the whole stay. You have to pay for parking any time you come and go.

The entrance is nice and updated. My room was not clean. The linens had not been changed. After being at my work conference and gala event I attempted to get in the bed and relaxed and noticed and old dried blood stain on the bottom fitted sheet. I called downstairs to the front desk to report the matter. I asked for all the sheets to be changed. There was a hole in the bathroom ceiling which had not been completely repaired. It looked as though there had been a leak. I was placed in an adjoining room which I would have rather been asked if I had a preference in the room at the time of checkin. I wasn’t aware if the room details until I walked in the room and saw the extra door. I was also placed at the end of the hallway room 440. I should have been made aware of the location of the room at checking as well.

Rooms are older. A lot of teenagers were staying there. Very crowded and noisy all night. It was fine for a one night layover stay. Staff at front desk were kind.

They had to switch us to a different room due to them being out of the room we booked,, however they went above and beyond to accommodate us and even sent an appetizer up to our room for our teens. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice stay but doesn’t offer anything complimentary- especially no coffee. I have stayed in much lesser hotels that at least provide coffee and most also provide at least muffins and fruit in the morning.

I enjoyed my stay. The only issue is that they need to work on their plumbing system as the toilet was slow to flush and was told by maintenance that they have the issue as the building is older. They need to fix. The area was close to airport and shopping mall. Im not sure if I would book here again but is a reasonable reasonable and nice hotel.

The beds at The Westin are always so comfortable! The staff at the desk is always very pleasant.

The view of the airport from the room was really nice. The location was convenient and the overall property looked clean and well-maintained. The room I received was not the one I booked — it was smaller and had a tub instead of a walk-in shower. The bed had a dip in the middle, one pillowcase had yellow stains, and the closet door was misaligned and wouldn’t close. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles were empty, and I had to call multiple times to get replacements. Front desk calls often went unanswered, the lounge had no snacks available during the day or evening, and the pool closed earlier than expected.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The airport shuttle was going to take 45 minutes to pick us up from the airport so we had to get a taxi. We did take the shuttle the next morning back to the airport and that worked well. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small and dated and the lighting was not great. The worst part was that our toilet did not work. I find it hard to accept that no one had noticed this prior to our stay - especially the cleaning staff.

$50 a night for parking is robbery! Not listing "Free Parking" as a hotel amenity is deceptive. Plus the shower curtain did not seal in the tub and allowed water all over the floor.

I like the restaurant and the parking available. Shuttle service to the airport is a plus, just cant get the shuttle to pick you up on your return. Desk is too busy to take your call too.

The customer service is terrible, i tried reaching out prior to my arrival at the airport I called 12 times to get assistance with my reservation and every time they answer they hang up the phone right away without me being able to speak. I am frustrated not being able to get assistance from the front desk after being stranded at the airport

Rory was the best part of our incredibly short stay. Due to airline issues, we checked in around 3am and checked out at 6:45am. The room was lovely and clean, but Rory was incredibly helpful and professional.

I have stayed here in the past. it has gone downhill; the staff is useless and doesn't even answer the front desk phone half the time. the food is subpar, and I was ticketed for parking a vehicle (400 dollars over the week i stayed there, and when i tried to clear up the tickets they ghosted me and stopped returning my calls. go spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

The hotel is nice and clean. Check in was quick and easy. The bar staff was friendly. Catching the airport shuttle early in the morning was a bit chaotic but we managed to get a seat on one of the two vans. I would definitely recommend this hotel

We didn't know that you had to request to have your room clean everyday. So when we found out, we called and were told service was called and no one showed up. Our room had a smell to it and some of the towels were stained. I won't be back.

What a mess at checkin. The line for checking was out the door and down the driveway and it took about 2 hours. Not fun when you are traveling with a 4 year old. They need to properly staff the reception to handle their bookings.

I stay in room 231 and I did not sleep well there was a loud noise coming from the small closet in the room. I spent the whole night. So upset wake up with a headache. But overall everything was good.

For the price, I would think that there would be a continental breakfast of some sort. They have a bar that you can get breakfast at in the lobby. The shuttle to the airport was nice. The “heavenly” showers were subpar. The shower head was so low that I needed to lean down to wash my hair (I’m 5’10”).

Bathroom toilet was soooo noisy, staff couldn’t deliver a tooth brush after 1 full hour after request.

Had such a short stay I couldn’t really comment any further.

Chose this hotel for my birthday trip because it had a rooftop pool. Only to find out upon my arrival that the pool was closed the associate did state that it would be open the following morning but it remained closed the entire weekend

I paid for a suite and when i got to the property I only received a regular room. Went to the desk and said they couldn't do anything about it becuase I booked with expedia. Contacted expedia and they said the hotel would not do anything about it.

The bed was comfortable but the pillows were too hard. Had a sore neck the next day.

Had a great stay and close to the airport. The 5 am shuttle was full so Rory ordered us an Uber to make sure we got to our flight on time. He was very kind, courteous and funny! Thanks!

The system was down. I kept telling them I had prepaid for the room. There are two charges on my credit card for incidentals. Then they tell me someone charged a restaurant charge to my room. It said that it was free parking yet you have to pay for parking.

The stay was very pleasant. The aroma in the lobby was very inviting. The room was good. And the restaurant was better than average.

The hotel is tired, the lobby looks like it had some money spent on it but the room was in need of an update, the A/C was noisy and had issues, not ideal when you only book the place to get some sleep. Breakfast was disorganized, no idea how people were getting food, noone to ask, no signage, no advice offered at check in. Ive nothing to compare it to in Dallas, but if this is typical it is a pretty poor standard

Called 3x, Waited an hour for the shuttle and then got a whole bunch of excuses — this is what I get for paying for for a nice hotel? I still haven’t gotten to the hotel yet!

I was given two queen bed though I was a solo traveler. I had asked for king. Would have loved if they offer me some discount at least.

I am having a terrible experience getting a shuttle. No answer for an hour and multiple times of the agent putting me on hold then never coming back

The only good thing was the Front desk lady after I went and asked again is there really only 1 time the shuttle runs an hour, she offered to get us an Uber. There were 6 of us. She paid for it, although it was a squeeze, it worked.

The hotel shuttle bus was not reachable from the airport. Clear phone number should be given to the travelers.

The hotel and rooms were nice! The night staff was very welcoming and kind but the morning staff was very rude, which is why I gave 4 stars. I also did not like that we had to pay for parking. There was nothing special about the parking lot. I can understand if there was a garage of some sort or security out 24/7 driving around the parking lot, or even a safety gate around the premises, but there wasn’t any of that. On top of that, there are signs that tell people not to leave valuables in their vehicle and the property is not responsible for damaged vehicles or stolen items. Why not? We are paying to park there. That was a total waste of money and didn’t make sense. I have stayed at many different Westin hotels and this is the ONLY one I had to pay to park. That’s just insane to me.

This is super nice, clean and quiet place. The food is pretty amazing and the staff very customer service driven. I dont have anything negative about my stay.

Loved the staff here they were very helpful. The paid parking situation was not so great. The QR code on the check-in paper didn’t work. The one in the elevator wouldn’t accept this location but the one on the valet stand and front desk do work. Transportation to the airport was very nice and my driver Kara was wonderful. We extended our stay an extra night for a nearby convention and it was wonderful to come back to the hotel and rest in their very comfortable beds.

The hotel is very clean and staff were helpful and friendly. The area was very convenient and shuttle service from the airport was amazing.

We had a wonderful stay at the Westin! The hotel was absolutely beautiful, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the food we had on-site was delicious. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Lobby area and 1st floor was updated. Actual rooms furniture was out dated. The dresser drawers in my room could/would not close, always stuck out. Carpet in the room and hallways need to be cleaned, old dirt spots remain. Beware that you’ll have to pay an additional fee to park your vehicle at this location daily. Not sure if I’ll stay at this location again

Great hotel

When I booked, I assumed that this was the hotel that was attached to the DFW airport. I was surprised, and actually happy, to find out that it is not. It was a short 15 minute drive from the airport- which put this hotel in a quiet and safe location. Beds were comfy, shower was hot and floor was quiet. Overall, worth what I paid for sure!

Unusual to have to pay for parking in DFw area

Our stay at your hotel was last minute due to all flights cancelled Saturday and Sunday with the earliest departure today due to weather. On Sunday morning, I had explained to the woman at the front desk we had a late flight on Monday and requested a late check out. I was told 12pm was the latest. She saw my reaction to her response and eventually was able to negotiate a 1pm check out vs 3pm. During checkout today, I spoke with the same woman at the front desk and informed her there was vomit on the 9th floor elevator to the doors prior to my room. No apologies or effort to rectify was made. My wife and I noticed this Sunday morning going to breakfast and it was still there when I left today. This was very off putting and left a bad taste. I didn’t say anything about this on Sunday since housekeeping was in the hallways working and figured this would have been addressed immediately. I am positive other guests on the same floor saw the same and suggest to have a manager do a daily walk through of all hallways and public areas in the hotel to ensure no one else has this experience. Hope this helps in improving the cleanliness of the hotel’s public areas for your future guests. Regards,

It was a great location with easy access to the freeway. There was plenty of dining options just a quick drive. The staff were amazing and so helpful.

I had a fantastic one-night stay at The Westin DFW during a layover. The staff at your hotel was amazing: kind, helpful, and welcoming. My room was spotless, spacious, quiet, and the bed was incredibly soft, making for a spectacular night’s rest. The view from my room was amazing. I also used the hotel shuttle to return to the airport, which was spacious and ran on an hourly schedule, making transportation seamless. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely stay again! My rating would be a 9/10. A nine as I feel the bathroom (I had a tub) was a little outdated.

Safe and clean quiet

It's an older hotel without, or they dont work anymore, slow close room doors. Guests let the doors slam shut and it's loud. Being right by the highway is extra loud, thank goodness I wear ear plugs. The best part about it was the bed and duvet. Ive stayed at better Westin's.

Very disappointing. The shower/tub did not work neither did the AC. On top of it very noisy. Very uncomfortable stay.

I wouldn’t recommend this property because the price don’t match the quality the only thing it was impressed with was the lobby and the fact there’s an airport shuttle! I reached out to the property and just received a generic response!

This is a great property for long layover requiring an overnight. Shuttle to and from airport, Rooms are large, clean and appropriately appointed. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. All of the staff from shuttle driver, front desk, dining staff and manager are very kind and hospitable. We would stay here again when passing through Dallas.
