I only choose this place due to the location. The hallways smelled like cat urine. It is not a well maintained property in any sense. The drywall in the bathroom is crumbling, the toilet paper holder is rusted, a light fixture was breaking away from the wall, stains on the bedding, hair left over in the bathroom from prior visitors, no room service over a several day stay (I emptied the trash into a bin in the hall). The elevator was out of service most of my stay. Don't stay here expecting more than a bargin value venue.

For the price you can beat what you get… yes it’s a little outdated but for the price it was great.

We arrived late in the evening after 8:30 pm. The front entry was dirty as we walked on. There were rags behind the vending machines I guess there was a water leak. We got to our floor and all you could smell was weed. We dropped off our items and went to dinner. When we arrived the room was hot. The AC was not working and would not turn on. I called the front desk and was told that was the only room they had left. We had to leave and drive back home 4 1/2 hours because we were not going to stay in a room with no AC. The gentleman at the front desk started a refund process but said it would take time. He was apologetic and I told him I knew it was not his fault.

i do not reccomend staying here. my friend i checked in and they charged us a $20 fee for an early check in that wasn’t stated anywhere in any written policy on hotel.com nor on the property. secondly, the cleanliness, staff, and infrastructure of this place is very poor. our first room we stayed in was infested with roaches.. they were crawling out of the 4 corners in the walls and we had to shake out our stuff because there were roaches in our luggage. both baby ones and HUGE ones.. there was also stains that resembled blood on the floor… our second room that they claimed was “clean” also had roaches and we had to spend $20 worth of spray to ward them off just to go to sleep for the night. there was roaches coming from the air vent. why am i paying to stay somewhere where i have to play pest control? besides that the sheets in our second room has cigarette holes and stains along with the hairdryer on the wall having literal mold growing on it… the fridge in the second room was also dirty… regarding infrastructure, the bathroom in the first room was deplorable. the bathtub was cracked and there was sloppy paint jobs all over it to cover up the fact it was broken. the “pool” was disgusting and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned the whole season. also if you stay in room 209, they literally painted over a LIVE roach and it’s STILL on the wall!! gross!! to top it off, when we asked for a refund the front desk lady refused

Went for Swim Thick and stayed in room 322. Toilet required multiple flushes but still a good room and price!

The hotel was close to the event I attended. The staff was accommodating. Upon arrival to room #1... The air conditioner wasn't working, room #2... The air worked but not ventilation and Reggie the dead roach made an appearance once we closed the bathroom door and 2 live roaches came crawling out. Finally room #3 was alright.

I enjoy my stay at the Red Roof Inn…Staff was very pleasant and accommodating!!! I went to be front desk so may times for assistance from needing a lighter to rubber bands and even help tiring my swim suit top and staff was very helpful!!!!… Hotel was clean and quiet to my surprise, wasn’t update to date with modeling bye very much so clean and intact ..:I will definitely stay there again !!

Roaches and bedbug hotel

This property was roach infested. I changed wrong twice and still dealt with roaches all night long. The staff was accommodating as far as changing in my room, but I was stuck there because I had already paid very disturbing the amount of roaches. I have a small child so it was very inconvenient.

This location was perfect right off US 290, but the hotel felt like I was staying in the hood. I was very uncomfortable being there and the young lady at the front desk has a freaking attitude. Felt like I was staying in a third world country. Never coming back to this location ever again unless you're born and raised in the ghetto

The hotel did not have any power.

Reserve the room on line, paid for the one night and when I got there the hotel had no electricity, just drove an hour 1/2 to get there just to find out that all reservations were canceled. Now having trouble getting my refund back.

Staff rude and they make you feel uncomfortable like you paying your money too stay in a prison setting they rooms are over priced and filthy.

The only thing I liked about it was the price but there was a catch to the price I made a new reservation when it was time to check out I made a new reservation to extend my stay and I was hit with a $20 late fee because I did not pay before 11:00 a.m. and was told that I had to check out the next day I was not able to extend my stay anymore after talking to the front desk and telling them that I was going to need to extend my stay for at least one more day I made another reservation and went to pay but because the machine only let you swipe your car twice first time she ended in the wrong amount so that was one swipe that was wrong the second time the machine wasn't working right so that was the second swipe and I was not able to pay so I was told that I would have to leave the very next day after getting told I was going to leave the very next day they told me I had 10 minutes to move out of my room or they were going to call the police not even 5 minutes after I was told to move out the police showed up at my door telling me I was going to get a ticket for stealing a whole day's worth of their rent.

The room is very dirty I had to hand scrub the entire restroom there are panties left behind in the room we're woken up to a super duper hot hotel and we stepped outside we noticed everybody was getting evacuated their paramedics outside and the hotel had an infestation

Staff Was Great Very Welcoming And Friendly. Location Was Great About Six Mins From Walmart Target And Other Stores. Room Was Pretty Clean , Love The Fridge And Microwave, Bed And Pillows Very Comfortable, Plenty Parking, Down Side Elevator Wasn't Working Wanted To Get In Pool But Water Didn't Look Cleaned Or Filtered Elevator Wasn't Working. Overall My Stay Was Good. I Would Stay Again If I Had To.. What Needs Work, I Think They Need And Can Use A Make Over Place A Bit Outdated For My Liking. Better Furniture Chair Tables Dresser Looked A Bit Worn.

Lady in office was rude and kept picking at me when I did nothing wrong she told me even on a leash my dog couldn’t be outside but all the other dogs didn’t have a leash and they were never told to take their dogs inside and she was very unprofessional and needs to be reviewed

Staff was great. It is very apparent that people use this as extended stay and cook in their rooms, so there is a heavy stench in the halls. Mostly all the furniture was broken in the room. Overall a "prison" feeling about the halls and room.

room had roached and non working A/C in more than one room. We complained and were offered another room, but the result was the same. The staff was dismissive to my spouse but they did process the refund without an argument.

I was kicked out of my room after paying $186 because I paid after 12 and because I did not give her a $20 cash payment for late fee for being late they kick me out of my room and would not give me my money back so I had to go to hotels.com to get my money back but stay did hotels.com was wonderful but Red Roof Inn sucks donkey balls

It smell like weed thru the whole building.. and roaches in the room.. cigarettes burns on the comforters on the bed.. We wanted a hotel that allowed smoking so i guess we get what we paid for

Not worth the stay. Soon as you walk into your room it smells like smoke and weed. People banging on each other’s doors in the middle of the night, you hear arguing all the way from the front office. Then when it was time to check out and leave, my car was being blocked in by a 18 wheeler which had me waiting for over an hour until the owner finally came and moved the truck. I would not recommend staying here At all!

Ummm, it's a hotel. First room I tried had a potatoe chip on the ground that was full of bugs. Yes, live bugs, many kinds. Receptionist gave me another room, that was better, but I didn't turn on the lights to check for bugs.

We had roaches, the room smelt like pee and dirty mop water. Me and my boyfriend had to take it upon ourselves to go to the nearest dollar tree and get cleaning supplies before trying to get comfortable in the room.

Booked 2 different units non-smoking. Both rooms smelled horribly like cigarretes you can almost taste it. We seen some cockaroaches but just smashed them and continued our stay. Also 1 tub had some stained foot marks but i just washed it out 🙃 overall comfortable.

Great low budget option if you want a decent room. However the parking lot and stairwells have plenty of sketchy individuals. I had to ask to get my room cleaned and have new towels. Don’t bring your family here. However if you’re looking for a low budget option on a room, it should be considered.

I didn't notice any form of security(guard) upon arriving as had been in place the last time I stayed here. I entered thru the back because of my room location and was stunned to see that the door opened without a card. The thought that anyone could walk in day or nite made me uncomfortable. I also saw evidence of cigarette smoking in the back stairwell although cameras were placed around the property. I do not plan to stay here again in spite of the reasonable price. Also, the lobby looks uninviting furniture wise but I did receive a friendly greeting. Really disappointed!

Overall good stay for the price, had to take off the bedspread-it was stained real bad, pretty gross. Everything else was good and cleaned well.

This is one of the only hotels in this area of town that still accept pets and have smoking rooms available. I think their prices are a bit high sometimes but it's normal for the area. Hotel is run down and could use some up updating. However it was relatively comfortable. Real issues encountered while living there for two 1/2 months include the elevator being broken for 6 weeks and being handicapped I was confined to the 2nd floor which sucked. Also the toilet never flushed properly in our room. Not one time.

Homeless people surrounding the hotel. People who appeared to be on drugs in the lobby. Room smelled dirty and had stains on the bedspread. Floor was sticky. I turned around and went back to check out. No one was at the front desk so I just left and called them to tell them I was no longer there. I didn't even feel comfortable leaving my locked car in the parking lot.
