Room was worn down, bland, poorly maintained. Desk chair was filthy, furniture and appliances were old, linens were stained and dingy, TV was old . Roaches scattered from under my shoe, while others crawled up the walls and across the dresser area.

we checked out early. We’re trying to get our money back for the last three days because of the roaches and the nastiness of the rooms. They said they’re waiting on the manager so they can get the code for the refund.

I liked the location. My first experience was when I got there to check in and the police were there trying to get a tenant to leave. I waited for an hour to check in. After that when I got to my room it smelled of sweat

Rooms look nothing like the photos , hallways smelt like weed and dirty. Once we got into our room , throughout the room there were dead roaches. Killed about five adult roaches including one on the bed.

Yes the room had A LOT of roaches and I wasn't there five minutes so then the lady who was at the front desk couldn't speak English. The lady who checked me in left.

Location The elevator was broken down. They only had a room open on the third floor, and I have a broken leg and was not able to go up the stairs. I called a couple of days later and it was still not fixed the elevator.

Found out upon arrival that the elevator was broken and we were on the 3rd floor. Accepted it, but then we were assigned to a room that already had a couple in it. Just so happened that the clerk who checked us in came up the stairs as we were going to talk to her. Said she didn’t know the room she assigned us to had someone there. Gave us the room next door. Room was clean; however the room, hallway, and stairwell all smelled like dog pee. Constant flow of people going in and out (room was right by the stairs). People hanging out all around the property.

I booked a room about 3 weeks early and the MORNING OF my check in they called me saying they were overbooked and had no room for me. Bad service.

It was bad first of all the elevator didn't work than heading up the stairs the exit door was wide open. Next the hallway smells like smoke (drugs) walking down the hallway you can hear females talking loudly the room smelled bad didn't stay I left there asked for a refund

No elevators haven’t had them in about 3 months the don’t keep up maintenance on window units and the stoves partially work some of the front desk had attitudes

The property was in the dark no lighting in front of the building When I first arrived the elevator was broken so I had to walk up three flights of steps with my stuff. Thank god someone help me. Then two it was roaches in my room and the room supposed be clean. When I woke up the next morning I had bits on me.

Room clean and spacious. However, lots of small roaches came out at night in the kitchen area. Security guard outside parking lot is strongly recommended.

David at the front desk was pretty dope and I checked in having a BAAAAAD day with so much going on. Great customer service goes a long way. Room was neat and clean and the accommodations were spot on in a pinch. Great price point for sure.

Nothing, except the hotel manager who did the best she could with what she had! It was disgustingly dirty! Infested with roaches, the accommodations that we paid for were not available, the front desk offered us an air mattress with no air pump but I was able to use my blow dryer to air it up, the blow dryer in the room was not working there was no couch, the linens were questionable, we didn’t stay long enough to try to shower because the facilities were so unclean. I couldn’t believe my eyes. We were supposed to stay two nights we got there late on the first night and found the disastrous accommodations and had no option but to stay. I woke up early the next morning and they offered a refund for the second night and 20$ off the first night. I accepted and the lady at the front refunded the money right in front of me but booking.com refused to return the funds to me for weeks because they kept saying they hadn’t received a confirmation email stating that the returned money was for a refund of the room! I couldn’t believe how unprofessional booking was and it just made the stay at that hotel even worse.

The location is very convenient to several restaurants that I really like. It was very quiet. I could still smell the scent of a dog on the carpet. The carpet should have been sprayed better to neutralize the scent.

Toilets didn’t work. No hot water. No pool operational. No wifi and the roof was leaking No bfast. And it smelled really bad. Very unhygienic and unsafe. Horrible experience do not go!!!

I found blood on my sheets and a roach in my room. I have a video of both. At check in there was no one attending the front desk. When attempting to resolve the issue with the roaches, the manager couldn’t be find for two hours.

Staff friendly and greeted when walked in. The hotel was clean.The only problem that need to pick The trash up in hallways that people leave The room didn't have a microwave for a 2 days had to call a couple of times for it bathroom big. The icebox was cold. Will be staying again

The actual stay itself served his purpose for the evacuation of the bad weather that was coming. First the air conditioning did not work enough to keep the whole room cool during the course of the day secondly only half of the stove worked so we were only able to use two of the burners and not all four thirdly the towel rack in the bathroom came down we reported it to the front desk the next day the repairman came up claims he was going to fix it said he was leaving to go get his said he was leaving to go get his tools but he never returned to do the repair

I booked through expedia for 1 night. When. I checked in, the lady at the front desk charged me two $54 transactions in error. Leaving me with 74 cents in my bank account. The next day i spoke to the manager and told her the fees were still there. All she could say aas that she cancelled it.even though i had 0 money, no where to stay, and no food, she told me to leave and figure it iut on my own. It was their error ans i got stuck eith being hungry.

The staff there are wonderful! So helpful. They go above and beyond to make one feel at home. Boys there for a 3 month stay for work. Beds very comfortable and even tho by highway noise not a bother. The only negative if I had to find one .. the gym equipment is not functional. Has laundry facility on site. Easy access to all kinds of food and shopping within one circuit without getting on the crazy highway. Safe area. Folks staying there are very friendly. So if you are looking for a long term stay choose this place! Join the rewards program and get special pricing. I am a mom who found this place for my son for summer Internship. It's perfect for college kido.

The suite was nicely laid out. Had a big kitchen , full fridge. The problem was, I was bitten all over my legs by some kind of bug, most likely fleas. There is no maid service unless you stay 7 or more days, which would have been nice to know. Overall, the room was excellent if the fleas didn't eat me alive.

I had to keep asking for towels because he room was cleaned(supposedly) and there were no clean towels in the room. I also left a brand new robe and when I went back for it I was told that I didnt leave it. I guess housekeeping got a brand new robe and never reported it.

The lady working the desk was rude. When I first got there their was a black gentleman that open the door for me as I came in . I believe she thought we was together. He kept walking while I went to the desk and she yelled at him to stop . Made him say his name and pull out his room key. Then she came back to me and ask me “ what do you want “ . I said my name and said it was my first time here and she changed her whole persona . She tried to be nice and friendly after that but it was some more gentleman’s that just walked by (white) and she didn’t say nothing just looked at them and went back to talking to her kids . Her kids was there and very loud . As I was filling out my paper work. It was a nice stay but that really stuck with me . I will stay at extended stay again but not this location.

The hotel had many people that lived there. The halls were dirty. There were kids running the halls. The trash was overflowed and terrible smell. Although my room was decent the cleaning staff did not do a good job of cleaning.

The entire hallway stunk of something awful. Then when I entered the room it damn near brought me to me knees it was soo bad. Graffitti all over the walls.

This was nice place to stay. The room was spacious and clean. It was a great price for a quality room.

Everything was good except I was in a room the first night and the trash had not been taken out and there were no towels in the bathroom and I didn't get get any until 1 am. The air was also not working properly. I was finally moved to another room the next night.

Obviously they do not clean their rooms thoroughly. Make sure you check UNDER you bed for USED condoms!!! No trash can I’m the room. Just filthy!! I’m almost certain my sheets were dirty as well. I may go get a tetanus shot!

Fantastic service, nice room. There is construction in the area, but the hotel is not in control of that. I will stay here every time I come to Houston on business. I felt safe and I was able to take my coffee and granola bar to go. It was awesome!

Spent one night and the bed was not comfortable and my wife got stung by something.

I’ve been in another Extended Stay América location before, but this one location was pretty good, staff was friendly , the only bad thing was some children playing onto elevator areas, what can be little bit awkward for people doesn’t like too much noise

When we checked in and got to our room, the room had not been cleaned. We were assigned a bigger room, free of charge, so no big complaints. We were just in a hurry to get checked in because we had somewhere to be shortly after. Desk attendant was nice. Breakfast shouldn’t really be called “breakfast”, if that’s what it is. They only had granola bars, muffins and juice.

Totally unprepared! Neighborhood is bad enough that lobby door is kept locked at all times. Breakfast was almost nonexistent - a few granola bars, prepackaged muffins and instant oatmeal with coffee. I will not go back. Only stayed as I did not know area and was afraid I would not find better unless I want downtown. Was not even comfortable to go out to restaurant for meals. Stopped once at Subway down the street and had to get them to unlock door for me to go in.

The rooms are laid out very nice. Upon checking in, the front desk clerk was very nice , however other staff had informed her that all rooms were clean and she put myself and another person into rooms but when we checked both rooms had never been cleaned, like all day. I was tired and disappointed that I had to go back down stairs to get another room. I feel bad for the clerk as it was not her fault. The other I entered smelled bad until I turned on the AC. Hollister rd was being worked on and soon to close so it was inconvenient to get around the area

No ice machine available, vending machines out of service, no blankets on one of our beds, breakfast was a joke granola bars and bad coffee.

This was awful. We left early due to the room smelling like marijuana so bad. I had to leave to get my kids out of this environment. I have never experienced such an awful hotel. It was filthy. Do not stay here. I want to make sure nobody else has to waste their money on this absolutely disgusting hotel. The marijuana smell was so bad and the management didn’t seem to care at all. Poor customer service. We moved to a better hotel and we were beyond glad to get away from this hotel. Even the hallways smelled of marijuana. Mattress had stains, carpet had stains. Staff didn’t care, poor poor poor. I can’t say enough how bad this place is.

We had just spent all day moving and got in late. The lady at the front desk was so nice. The two double beds I booked where taken and instead of dkwngdowngrading my room she upgraded me to a suite and waived the pet fee. She was wonderful

This hotel was horrible. When I booked the room I specifically put for three adults and a child. The room was only equipped for two people. We had to call several times to get more towels, pillows, blankets. The room didn't have any trash cans to throw away our trash, which I thought was very strange not to have. The breakfast was not any better. The website stated continental breakfast. If you call oatmeal packages and coffee continental breakfast. There were no spoons to use in the room or downstairs if you choose to eat the oatmeal they provided for you. The refrigerator had better days as well, it looked like someone punch the freezer.

It was the best hotel stay ever , the rooms are clean and service is remarkable , l have traveled to lots of hotels but this extended stay on Hollister and hwy 290 definitely top's the list , l really appreciated my stay and would certainly recommend anyone of my friends to come and share the same experience l had ...

My main issue with the hotel was the awful smell. I tried many different room deodorizers, but to no avail. I asked if the room had flooded from the hurricane and the staff said no, so I’m not sure why it smelled so badly. You also don’t get your room cleaned if you’re staying there less than 7 days. Overall, the staff was friendly and accommodating (you can even get pots, pans, and utensils upon request). You get what you pay for though in terms of how nice the room actually is.

For the price , it was a clean good night stay.
